Crutcher's is fair and honest, which is very hard to find in an auto shop these days. They will not make up issues with your car or try to sell you unnecessary items or fixes. I took in my Subaru forester because of some dash lights that went on, but turned off shortly after. I got an inspection/diagnosis at Crutchers and they found nothing wrong with it. He returned my car to me with no charges due on it! I appreciate the honesty and will definitely be back in the future for any car issues. read more

I love Crutchers so much! If I could give them 6 stars, I would. They are an amazing business and are always giving you the honest answer. Every time I have brought my car in, I know I'm getting the best deal and they're always being straight forward. Crutcher's never tries to upsell you anything. All of the employees are so genuine and you can tell that they truly enjoy their jobs. I brought my car in today thinking it would take a few hours but it took them less than an hour and the price was unbeatable, one of the local chains were going to charge me over $200 and they charged me $53 (with tax), for my issue. Absolutely terrible customer service. I called Crutcher's with a request for a quote of repairs to my vehicle. Not only did it take weeks to get a reply, Crutcher's refused to provide a copy of the quote. I will never have my vehicle worked on with this shop. As many of you know, I ONLY give 1 or 5 STARS. I am HAPPY to give Crutcher's FIVE STARS. I was driving across the United States and stopped here because my AC was not working correctly. Doug Ferguson, who advised me shared with me ALL the possibilities of what could be going on and after speaking with him, I made an appointment in two days. Meanwhile, I used some of his home remedies and called him the next day and cancelled my appointment as the problem appeared to be fixed. When I cancelled the appointment, he told me to call him ANYTIME, no matter what state I was traveling, if I needed any help. WOW!! Nice enough but slow and outrageous rates. Took 2 weeks to get a diagnostic on my suspension work. Fine. I mean didn't have an appointment so thats mostly on me. But then get quote for $950. I just had the same work done in Fairview at a shop fpr 618$. That being said I made a list of about 5 shops within a 1 mile radius of them and started called. It only took the first 2 shops with a $600 and a $570 quote before I decided to spend 50$ on a tow and take it down the street and it was done about 4 hrs later... read more

On April 5, 2022, we took our car to Crutcher's because of an alert on our dash, "Emission System Problem." Crutcher's was extremely busy but told us that if we dropped the car off and left it there, they would fit it in as soon as they could. The technician called the next day and told us that he got two codes - one for the fuel pump control module and one for the catalytic converter. He spent about 20 minutes on the phone with us and said that we'd have to take it to an Acura dealer as they couldn't fix it there. There was no charge! The local Acura dealer told us it was the catalytic converter, and it was on back order. We drove our granddaughter to Muncie, Indiana, a week later for a volleyball tournament and were stranded there, 360 miles from home. It was towed the next day to an Acura dealer in Indianapolis, Indiana, and they confirmed it was the fuel pump control module, not the catalytic converter. We rented a car and came home and returned 2 weeks later for the car. We have used Crutcher's since living in Franklin and highly recommend them for your automotive needs. They are honest and fairly priced. read more

Excellent business! Took my Chrysler Town & Country in to Crutcher's Auto Repair when my "check engine " light came on. They checked it out over 3 days time trying to find the problem. Not a complaint - just a heads up if you're taking your auto to Crutcher's for repair. I travel a lot and recently had an issue with a vehicle (fuel pump) - translated - don't have time to mess around with auto repairs. Towed to Crutchers. They did repair and also did the upselling thing to add new battery (didn't need) and radiator repair (additional $500 - didn't really need). I stated to them; let's concentrate on why I had vehicle towed to you. Fuel pump replacement was twice (2x) the price of 'average' cost. Again, not a complaint - just know what you're getting into with repairs here. read more

Such a friendly staff. I had to bring my 2 year old with me to get an alignment & they had a box of toys, refreshments, tv & courteous staff that made our wait extremely relaxing. Their prices are the best in town & the wait wasn't bad. I was impressed that they were all so friendly, it makes great customer service & U could tell that they do that with all of their clients. I went to Crutchers auto repair to get my starter fixed. I called the day it was supposed to be fixed and they said "yes you can come and get it, its running and ready." so I went to go pay and pick up my car and as I was paying they tell me my power steering rack is broken. Well it was not broken when I gave it to them it was only the starter. They told me it was the weather that must have done it and it would be 800-1,000 dollars to fix. I will never be taking my car back there ever again. read more
