I've been wanting to find some outstanding brisket in the area and I believe I found it. Beautiful smoke ring, spoon tender, and delicious. I definitely be back soon for another round. This is a really neat place. I went here for the first time and after I waited to get into the door I got the chance to speak to the owner himself. He was super friendly and said, hey what would you like? I said I've never tried this place yet, surprise me. He gave me the best platter ever full of delicious BBQ meats and yummy Mac & Cheese. By far the best BBQ I've had anywhere in the area. They created a plate for us so we could try everything. We had brisket, ribs, turkey and pulled pork, as well as the Mac and cheese and beans. Absolutely everything was super tender and ate it with a plastic fork. Best brisket I've had outside of Texas and would also get the pulled pork again (I normally say pulled pork is nothing special, but the seasoning on this was!). I'm not a big sauce person so the ribs weren't my favorite but my husband loved them. If in the area, this place is a MUST. But get there early... they close when they sell out! read more

Our wedding caterer :) and weekend BBQ fix. Cryderman's BBQ is fantastic to say the least. I'm new to Florida. My husband and I moved here about six months ago from California; we drove. We stopped in Austin, TX along the way and had some barbecue (my husband loves to try local BBQ wherever we go). It was incredible. He was feeling pretty bummed thinking he wasn't going to have BBQ of that quality in the foreseeable future...then we found Cryderman's in Cocoa Beach. Their BBQ is amazing! Slow cooked for hours, their brisket is melt in your mouth incredible, their pulled pork will keep you coming back for more, and their turkey is perfection. Cryderman's sides are equally impressive; their mac n' cheese and smoked beans are my personal favorite (a must have). Their Cocoa Beach restaurant offers the one thing that makes BBQ truly extraordinary; outdoor/communal seating. There is nothing better than eating and chatting with folks that love a good meal. Having lunch at Cryderman's is a great experience! Wedding: Chad and Amy Cryderman, as well as their employees, are kind, good people who take pride in providing a memorable meal. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. Amy (our direct contact) was very accommodating, and quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. They were the easiest vender to work with by far. The BBQ at our reception was just as good as what they serve at their restaurant (the pimento stuffed potatoes were outrageous). We requested a carving station, and the food was served buffet style. Their serving tables were very elegant; Amy must have filled half of their trailer with decor. The presentation was absolutely beautiful. The BBQ was hot, freshly carved upon request, and everybody left with a full stomach. Most guests said it was their favorite part of our wedding. It was ours too. Great food makes for great conversation. Have an event that needs catering? Stopping in Cocoa? Give Cryderman's a try! They work damn hard, and it's evident in the food they serve. Most AMAZING BBQ u will EVER eat!! PSA-this isnt ur "standard" sonnys/woodys-this is the REAL DEAL!! Owners are great people and every side u get is simply the best!!! I see the other reviews-and I say this, you get what you pay for!! If you want dried out, days old budget bbq-then those other chain bbq's are for you It may be more "pricier" than others in this area, but the quality is so much higher -it is worth every penny! read more

Food is very good, fresh and tasty. That's where it ends. You eat outside - in the heat and with the bugs. They put NO MEAT on the bun! The sandwich is all bread. We saw them make the sandwich for the people ahead of us and decided we better get our own pound of brisket, and just eat it with a fork as they wouldn't give us buns. ($21 for 1 lb of brisket, you'd think they'd throw in a couple pieces of bread). We each got some slaw, another side to share, and a couple of cokes. They handed me what felt like a very light bag, and when I questioned the amount of food, they said this was a pound of meat BEFORE it's cooked. Of course, this was after they took my money. There wasn't enough for even one decent sandwich. Mostly because it was at least 30% thick rubbery fat. Another fact that they couldn't care less about. Their response to my showing them this was - Well, that's the natural product, and we're not gonna give you any more, then shrugged their shoulders. To us, and with her attitude, it kinda felt as if she was laughing inside and saying "oh well - hate it for ya!" Thoroughly put off, at this point we just wanted to get it over with because we hadn't eaten all day. We ate in the heat. With the bugs. On sticky tables. We were in for WELL over $34 bucks for lunch including sides (which are tiny btw), drinks and tax, and we left hungry. I mean - like we hadn't eaten at all - hungry. We were 3 miles from our house, and we had to stop at Arby's on the way home. Oh, and they don't give you lids for your drink cups. I guess they don't want you getting a refill to take before you leave. Cheap and petty. Good tasting BBQ, NO customer service, and good luck sending your kid to college if you make a habit outta this place. $$$$$$$ read more
