This allowed for easy access and in this part of town that can be challenging to come by. The desk staff are very nice and helpful. Someone came in 30+ minutes early for their appointment and instead of making it a big deal they offered them the use of the sauna. I thought this was really great and showcased that the spa really does prioritize guest experience. The level of communication pre appointment was great and supportive. I was on a wait list for my service and was texted about an earlier opening. My actual procedure was also a great experience. At times our issues were major, other times just in for regular adjustments. He is personable, great listener, and helps you understand the why of back issues. We highly recommend turning your care over to him. The only complaint we have has come about through direct interactions with his receptionist. I have called multiple times to try to get an appointment with Dr. Peng and she creates barriers to entry. When I ask if we can get scheduled this week, she is never accommodating; instead, advises he can't see us until next week or later in the month. I ask if she can advise of cancellations, and she advises we just need to check in. Really?! Past receptionists have always been amenable to working with us. Dr. Peng, if you are there, we haven't been in to see you because your receptionist doesn't accommodate us. I noticed this pattern when the receptionist was replaced. I always ask how people are doing when I interact with them. She wasn't interested. Not at all friendly, lacks personality, and doesn't try to even work with your clients. Sadly, we have had to seek treatment close to our home - we live in Georgetown and the office is in Pflugerville. We are happy to come back, but your receptionist needs to try to work with your longstanding patients. We still need you! Please help her understand that we are just trying to schedule treatments with your office.

I bought a laser hair removal package May 2025, that included 6 sessions. It was explained to me how important it was for me to keep my appointments on my hair growth cycle for my results to be the terminate my hair growth. My first appointment went great. It was 10/10. I was told by Dr. Sholar that Sydney was the laser hair removal specialist that I would be with throughout my treatment. At my second appointment, that was not true. I had a different person. It went a little differently but fine. I was treated cordially. Again after my 2nd treatment I scheduled me 3rd appointment on the date recommended by the new esthetician. On the day of my 3rd appointment I got stuck in traffic, like many of us do in Austin, so I called to let them know I would be a few minutes late. The person answering the phone said that they didn't have any laser appointments on the schedule on this day. I said are you sure? And she checked my file. She could see that my appointment had been canceled and told me that their laser person was out of the clinic for the remaining of the week. I asked that when she returned to please have her call so that I could schedule my next appt ASAP. She could also see that no one had reached out to me to reschedule my 3rd appt. Needless to say I was upset. I waited for call to get reschedule and never received one. They have AWFUL Customer Service once they get your money! I have NEVER had any contact from them after they got paid. No one has reached out to get me scheduled again for appointments that they said were so important for my results. They got their Money and Do Not care. They have not contacted me at all. So, I emailed Amy, the person the receptionist suggested. I have requested the money for the services I have not received back and was told it would take 7-10 business days on July 15, 2025. I followed up on July 24, 2025. The only response I received was that they had received it.

At the appointment I did not even see the doctor. I asked what I paid for and they said I paid for the skin analysis which they do for free. I said "do yall usually charge for that? " knowing it was free and then receptionist said "well no". The skin analysis was a joke too and So many things pointed to shady business practices. I spoke with Amy the director who never apologized or had any expectation for anything. She did agree to refund my money though since I paid for a service I did not receive. I asked for confirmation of the refund which I still have not received. I've called multiple times and given some strange excuse as to why. Last time I called I was told an email confirmation was sent but could take a while because of their firewall. Never received a refund.
