I accidentally purchased Premium Seating and boy am I glad I did! We took an escalator to our floor and were greeted with clean restrooms with no lines and a bar that only took about 8 minutes of wait time in a line with a super friendly bartender! I go to concerts a lot and can't wait to go to another one here. I usually stay in a hotel close by and just take the less than 6 minute walk directly to the stadium. My family and I celebrated a birthday at Crypto Arena (Lakers vs Rockets). The experience is captivating and enchanting. Location is sparkly clean; staff is welcoming/professional; and the energy is electric. The rhythmic chants of "We love Luka" felt endearing and sweet. Unfortunately, the food is subpar and overpriced. We ordered food at Crypto Arena's "Spotlight Grill" to take to our Suite. The Nachos ($11) came unassembled; it's a barely warm nacho cheese cup, a salty Tostitos chip bag, and a small side of jalapeños. The hotdog ($9) came wrinkly and shriveled. The hotdog's meat is thick and plump, but it's a relatively small hotdog. The Korean Chicken Popcorn bites ($18) tasted the best. The tender, well-breaded, well-seasoned chicken sits on a bounty of waffle fries. The ambiance is enchanting. We had Suite tickets in the VIP section, so we clearly saw the entire court. The box suite's interior included a personal sink, side tv, chargers, trashcan, and additional seats. It's very roomy and clean. Lovely experience! Also, staff is charming, welcoming, and very professional. The sweet, helpful staff member (Maria) gave my family a "Happy Birthday Pin." And the elevator staff members (one named Robert) were quick to wish a "Happy Birthday." All staff acted professional, welcoming, and kind. Overall, Crypto Arena sparked a magical, lovely experience. Despite the subpar food and prices, the mesmerizing and captivating event created an atmosphere of joy throughout the stadium. Formerly Staples Center and I still call it Staples Center to this day lol. Located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles this arena is for the Lakers, Kings , Sparks and concerts as well as other events as well. Parking is tough and expensive unless you take an Uber/Lyft or other public transportation. Food and drinks are outrageous here in cost. Service is ok the staff however are pretty friendly and helpful. The atmosphere here can be fun depending on the event you are attending. I had an absolute blast at this past Lakers game. The Lakers vs the Wembanyama-less Spurs was the best Lakers game I've been to. It was just pretty basketball, if you know what I mean. Be sure to take some time before your event to check out all of the player statues outside of the arena. Did you spot the Kobe and Gigi statue? Look for parking around the area if you want to save a few bucks and don't mind walking. Stadium parking is $40+ I believe, but you can find $20 parking nearby. There's plenty to eat around the arena, so plan on eating before you get into the arena. As you might expect, prices are pretty steep inside, and even a water will run you ~$8 There's really not a terrible seat here. The stadium feels cozy, even if you're near the top. Overall a good experience coming here for a LA Kings game. Ticket for the game was more than reasonable. The staff got us into the venue quick and theres staff everywhere. There was a long line for the free jerseys included in the tickets but the staff got us moving along quick. Lots of restrooms located everywhere. The seats were solid and clean. The only complaint is probably the food and drinks are expensive but thats typical for all Arenas. Parking is expensive too but thats for the parking structure's review not Crypto. read more

While Crypto is still Staples Center to me, I hadn't been here in years. Yet, I've found myself here twice in the last couple of month to watch both the Lakers and the Kings. I had been here for concerts before but never for sports games and was actually impressed by how nice it was to see a sports event here. We sat in both the 300 section and the PR section for our games, and both had great views. PR section had its own designated food areas as well as servers that came around to your seat to take orders. While food and drink are definitely pricey - I paid nearly $25 for a tall seltzer - this aspect was very convenient. Great screens to highlight the action. Always disappointing when you can't see what's going on. Parking isn't as bad as I would expect for a big venue. You can either park at the arena or one of the many local lots. I've never actually parked AT the arena, and I'm able to get to and from the arena on foot easily as well as get out without too much traffic. I don't know how much it costs at Crypto, but I've usually paid about $30 at these external lots. Overall, not a bad experience, especially compared to other arenas. Wouldn't mind coming back for another game or concert. read more

Came to watch the mighty OILERS crush the life out of the LA KINGS in 2024 NHL Playoffs. Arena is an urban venue located the heart of downtown LA. It's not a very up close experience for fans due to it being a multi use venue. But it's fine just not exceptional. For concerts I saw THE FINAL MOTELY CRUE show on 12/31/2015 and was front row. Security was amazing that night and didn't allow a single person who didn't have a ticket up front. Thank you security our evening was amazing. As for THE CRUE well I guess that wasn't the last show cause LIVE NATION pulled up the money truck for them to unretire ! Plenty of pair in the area and many dining establishments around building. Make sure you check out KOBE " BLACK MAMBA's " Bryant's statue out front ! Well, it's just a building so go enjoy your event. I'm out! read more

When we were kids we experienced the physical world... learning things to prepare us for adulting. Invaluable life skills such as throwing sharp objects at each other, drinking cheap alcohol, and shoplifting at the mall. But for the un-initiated of the endorphin-boosting art of shoplifting, there is a store on the Main Level at Crypto that approximates that experience. The "JUST WALK OUT" shop has no cashiers, no security guards, and no cash transacted at all. You grab whatever sh*t you want, stuff 'em in your oversized coat pockets, and walk out without looking back! The technology was created by Amazon for use in their own stores (Amazon Fresh / Whole Foods) but later expanded to third-parties. The system uses AI, weight sensors, and cameras to enable shoppers to shop without checking out. Once you exit and think you're in the clear, a charge is made on that credit card you thought was safely tucked away in your wallet. Amazon claims that the Just Walk Out technology is installed in 200+ stores globally. Because the tech is best used with pre-packaged grocery items, prepared hot foods, and magazines... you will see it at stadiums, airports, and college campuses. You know, where the shoplifters and pick-pockets hang out. And what if you change your mind about an item? You just place it back on the shelf. Supposedly you will only be charged for the products you have when you exit. Due to previous junk hotel charges for just glancing at items in the minibar, I was careful not to touch anything. I did ask another shopper to hand me a Twix Bar though. How does it work? Well, the system links your physical embodiment to the payment card that's used to unlock the entrance turnstile. The cameras detect when your hand interacts with a product on the shelf. The machine learning algorithm makes sure the correct item and quantity is added to your virtual cart. I have no clue how to get a receipt or a refund. On DoorDash, when I ask for a refund for a missing item, the AI support bot asks me to take a photo of the missing item... so I'm assuming it works much the same way. #FutureIsNowButItSux Pro tip: if I were a kid today, I would shoplift things from the Dollar Store and return them to Five Below for a nifty profit read more

I have not been here in years and my lady it's her first time here to see the Lakers on a Sunday. We purchase parking SpotHero for $10 was 14 minute walk. As for arena it look great with the statues and the vibe was rocking. The staff was really nice and it was awesome the new video boards & sound system was amazing. The seats was decent and clean arena in the 517 section concessions are easy in n out. The bathrooms well kept n really clean and you can tell the fans were having great time. We were able to walk around the arena we purchased popcorn n soda was perfect watching the game. I am 6'2 my seat was comfy and the Lakers won. Drove here from San Diego for Sabrina Carpenter's sold out Night 1 show. I parked about a block away from the Arena. Traffic around the area was pretty confusing and bad especially in the rain. The line went by fast once the doors opened but security did not seem to be strict on rules. They did not check what were inside of bags, they just held papers up to show what size your bag needs to be. Walked through the detectors and it didn't seem like they cared much. A little confusing to find our section and seats. Seats are interesting as they recline a bit when you sit but the aisles are very tight to get by others. There was a cord hanging down from the ceiling that sort of obstructed the view but it was fine. Wetzel's Pretzel is a good touch as well. read more

This was our second time here and both experiences were great. We came for the last night of Sabrina Carpenters tour and expected everything to be busy and crowded. We got right in past security no wait same with merch which was shocking. First concert I walked right up and got merch and we weren't even there when doors opened. Plentiful food and drink options. You don't have to fight the crowds Great view from above. You won't get any cannon tees at this range but you will get in seat service. Order what you'd like and they deliver it to your section. Crypto.com Arena is a great venue overall, especially for watching a Lakers game. Getting in and out was easy, and there really isn't a bad seat in the house, sightlines are solid no matter where you're sitting, which makes the experience enjoyable from tip-off to the final buzzer. The downside is the concessions. Beer is extremely overpriced, almost $50 for two tall boys -- and the food options are underwhelming for a venue of this size. The atmosphere and setup are excellent, but the food and drink situation definitely take away from it a bit. Still, a great place to catch a game. Watching LeBron play live was honestly a dream moment for me, something I've wanted to experience for a long time. The energy inside the arena was unreal from the crowd reactions to the in game entertainment and shows during breaks. Got invited to the Lakers vs Blazers game the day after new years. I was bracing myself for a hectic and chaotic experience finding parking and getting into the arena but thankfully, someone had a parking pass already purchased and we were able to park in one of the garages fairly close to the entrance. The walk from parking was less than 10 minutes and getting in was swift. The lines weren't long at all from the entrance we came in through, I think it was one of the VIP entrances, that's why. We were then guided towards the suites and upon entry, we were greeted with some snacks and actual food comprised of chicken fingers, pulled bbq pork, hotdogs, veggies, chips, and more! They also provided water and beer. And during the game, there are dessert carts stopping outside of each suite where they offered cakes, ice cream, candy, and other sweet things. And oh yeah, the game was pretty fun also! Got to see LeBron play, but I became a fan of Austin Reaves that night! And the Lakers won so good for them! Great experience! read more

I purchased some tickets to the LA Kings vs. Pittsburg Penguins as a Christmas gift for my husband. Unfortunately he was sick, but I ended up going with my sister-in-law who likes hockey as well. The Premier Seating was nice, with a great view and with in-seat food and drink service, and access to the Lexus Club. My sister-in-law commented on the comfort of the seats. I ordered the chicken tenders & waffle cut fries for $16, and two glasses of rose for for $15 each. The serving of chicken and waffles were pleasantly more than I expected - you could definitely share if you wanted. Before the game there was a touching tribute to LAFD for their efforts during the local Palisades, Eaton, and other fires in the LA area. Despite the fact that the Kings lost 5 to 1, it was a great time. read more

I love coming to see the Lakers at the Crypto Arena, but I do have a few suggestions that would make it a lot better. The main suggestion is regarding the food offerings. They really don't have much. I would love some places to get pizza by the slice or more healthy food options too. I usually love going to sporting events for their concessions, but the Crypto arena is really lacking in that area. I was shocked that a regular bottle of filtered water costed $10.99!! The soda was somehow less than water. I think that is ridiculous, especially for how much you're paying for tickets. It almost feels like they think we're stupid or something. I appreciate the events at the arena and I love the balcony. Get some better food options and don't charge an arm and a leg and I'd give 5 stars! read more

Went to a Los Angeles Kings game last Saturday at Crypto.com Arena to watch Anže Kopitar, number 11. Been watching him since his rookie days, so it felt right to go see him after 20 seasons plus his retirement of this year. But being there honestly confirmed why I stepped away from sports entertainment. The place felt **disgusting**. Everywhere you look--ads pushing **poison** food, **poison** alcohol, nonstop consumption. I get it, it's business... but let's be real, there's already enough money coming in from tickets, merch, and everything else. At some point it just feels like greedy lobbying for products that are straight up harming people. What really hit me was how normalized it all is. You see people struggling to move, clearly dealing with health issues, but still being fed the same junk inside. That's not community--that's a cycle. And it felt **gross** being part of it. They talk about fan appreciation, they salute veterans, but outside those walls we all know there are real issues people are dealing with every day. It starts to feel like distraction more than appreciation. What are we teaching kids in that space? That enjoyment means drinking, getting drunk, and loading up on junk while watching sports? That's not culture--that's programming the next generation to repeat the same cycles of alcoholism? Maybe I've just changed, but that environment doesn't align with me anymore. We made the drive up to LA for the Sabrina Carpenter concert and thankfully we stayed across the street so it made getting there easy. The check in for the concert was quick and easy. I will say we had good seats but the stairs walking up were so steep it felt like I would fall any second. Like any venue the drinks and food are pricey but I will say I have seen worse pricing. read more

This arena used to be the Staples Center so it has alot of history especially Lakers games. I enjoy attending events here for concerts, games, etc. Very easy parking and the arena is surrounded by various restaurants off site to have dinner or lunch before going inside the Crypto Arena. Came to the Crypto Arena to watch the Kings vs. Kraken game. We found a nearby parking garage for about $40.00 flat. This is a cashless venue. There is a machine in one of their shops where you can convert your cash onto a card. Food and drinks can get pricey. Think about $9+ for bottled drinks. I got a $10 Wetzel's Prezel and a side sauce for $2.50. We also got food from Fuku which was a chicken and fries establishment, which I personally wasn't a fan of for about $20.00. I went to the Kings hockey game with my church. They have $40 parking which I didn't utilize but there is $25 parking at the convention center which is much better. This is my first hockey game and a light jack and will do just fine. It was super fun And they gave out free hats. The Kobe statue and the one with Gigi is so heartfelt.
