What a night at Crypto Arena! I went with my daughter to attend Louis Tomlinson concert. The venue is very spacious and vlean. It is really gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There are numerous food and beverages places including alcohol. They also have food markets. You enter the food market, scan your credit before you enter, then they charge you automatically. Escalators and elevators are available. There are numerous bathrooms in between the sections. The acoustics were great with a very high quality and clarity. The production in general was phenomenal. The seating was comfortable. We had such a wonderful time. It was a magical night!

We went to the playoffs game last week for the Lakers Vs. OKC. We got seats that have more cushion and supposed to have our own server. She introduced herself to us before the game saying she is here to take our orders and we dont have to get up at all, but man she was way too busy. Where we had to go up to the bar and get our drinks anyway. So that was annoying. Felt like a tease. The drinks were good. I like my paloma. Also we got some beef nachos and that was yummy! The crowd was great. It was clean. However, the crowd got sad when the Lakers started losing. haha. But it was still a good time for me. Also bathrooms were clean!

It's always fun to attend a game. Drinks are sold up until the end of halftime. Food is just your basic overpriced menu. I like when you arrive and get a special gift. I've gotten a duffle bag, tshirt, etc.

First time here and it was amazing. Getting here was easy, walkable distance from hotels, security was simple. Restaurants are close by. Inside staff is friendly and helpful. View from our box was awesome. Food was really good, we had the chicken and beef tacos .

I've been coming here since it was Staples. I took my wife here on one of our first dates to see a Laker playoff game. I've seen many concerts here. It's a great place to see an event. The vibe for sports and concerts is amazing. The food here is not why I come. It's just ok. It's not the kind of food I really want to eat and it costs too much for what it is. The drinks are overpriced. But it's a concert or a game. That's the deal. The people who work here are mostly nice and professional. The people at the entrance are always great. The folks working in the arena are usually really terrific. Sometimes the sales people are overwhelmed and a little rushed. I've seen Laker games, Kings games, and Clippers games here (the latter only with a friend who's a Clippers fan). I've seen more than 40 concerts here. Great place for an event, not a place to eat.

We paid for, and had great seats. We didn't know the purchase involved the 'resale' market and extra large fees. The food quality and choices were lacking. How about some veggie meals or snack fruits? Everything was fried or pizza or a hot dog. I expected high prices on food and drinks and they were. The store where u scan your card and then walk out w purchases was great- no line. For the high level attendance more food options are needed and fewer people in line. We missed a chick of the game. Seat comfort was ok.

I've been to multiple events here over the years - Lakers, Kings, and Clippers. Most recently was a Lakers game with a 3.5 y/o. Wish we'd known that 2 and under are free if they're lap kids at Lakers games, or we would have attempted games when our son was in that age range. Note, the bag policy for Lakers games isn't the same as Dodgers games re: clear bags! While there are exceptions for kid-related bags here, all you're really allowed to bring in is a wallet. Parking at the garage that opens to the entrance of the facility is pricey, but worth it since it dumps out right at the front lines to the arena. We paid in advance and had no wait or issues getting inside and parking right away. This was 30 min. before doors since we wanted to walk the arena with our kid and show him stuff, so can't speak to how chaotic it could get closer to game time. Our fav drink spots inside are the corner store-like spots where you scan a card and show ID at the turn styles, then walk in and grab whatever you want from the coolers. We usually get a Cutwater to start, then seltzers for the rest of the event. Pics are from section 114, row 18, seats 24-26. Great view of the court and home team side! We were also close enough to the court for our son to catch some of the streamers they shot out of the ceiling after the Lakers won.

Why 4 stars? Because I don't have many complaints or standouts. --- --- --- Inside the building, this was pretty much the most standard NBA arena. There was nothing really special about it, but also nothing that had me longing for more. The biggest differentiator for me was the outside plaza, which was really nicely done. But most importantly, the coolest part were all of the statues outside, which in fairness, is more due to the history of the Lakers than the arena itself. But it was cool to walk up and down the plaza and take photos of them all. Otherwise? It's an NBA arena. And a distant number two of the LA arenas, as I would come to find out two days later when I went to my first Clippers game at Intuit Dome.

Such a great idea for a date night! It was my husband and I's anniversary and we really needed a good night out. He's more of a sports fan than I am but it was a great way to spend some quality time together and enjoy something he would like. I ended up buying pretty decent seats and we didn't have to wait long at all for our drinks! A beautiful arena will definitely come again. Side note: The bartender was so awesome and friendly, he kept us entertained while making our drinks overall such a good evening.

Came here for a concert and was surprised at how convenient it was to get in. Came in exactly at the opening time and was able to scan my ticket and walk straight in. Plenty of staff, clear signage and clean bathrooms - what more could you ask for? Be advised bag policy is very strict! They will check that your bag is within the specified size, so make sure you read the policy and check your bags before arriving or you may be turned away.

I enjoy going to Crypto Arena to watch a Kings game, and this day was especially memorable. We attended Mexican Heritage Night to receive the free Mexican jersey giveaway. The Kings organization brought in a Mariachi band to sing the national anthem and perform between periods, which added a nice touch. I ordered an OG Chicken Sando at a spot called FUKU on the third level, and it was delicious; it just needed fries. The Kings organization also held an auction to win a warm-up-worn signed jerseys, and I happened to win a signed Kopitar and Doughty jersey.

Crypto Arena has comfortable seating, a great atmosphere, and an energetic crowd it made the game really enjoyable. I like the size of the arena, and the statues out front add a nice touch. The location is perfect, with plenty of food spots nearby. The only downside was the food inside the arena the burger options weren't the best. Overall though, it's a great place for entertainment and I'd definitely go back. Lebron James was worth it!

I only go here for Laker games. Well I once had a free ticket to a clipper game and the atmosphere was just next level when it's a Laker game. I am sharing my review for our recent visit which was last week. I usually buy tickets for lower 100s but this time I got Premier seats. This was my 2nd time in premier seats and the level of service especially to order food is very convenient. This is my 2nd time in the PR area and highly recommend it if you do not like to leave your seats to go to the concession stands. Also these tickets have a separate entrance (which you can also use if you're an Amex cardholder). Restrooms are less crowded because they also have the suites and club lounge in this area. For food - waffle fries are best value, beer or alcohol of course is more expensive. Only downside - even if the game is active he servers are still serving and delivering the food. Also I keep hitting my knees on the cup holder. Also they closed one side so we were on the aisle so we constantly have to stand up to let other people pass.

Ask the Community - Crypto Arena

We are confused. Can someone offer information regarding purses? Their web says no clear purses but when looking thru recent review pics here I see women with clear bags. Small cross bodies ok? Clear or not but small like wristlets?

I was just at the Laker game and took my little one and obviously needed diapers but took it in clear bag and no issues

What are benefits of premier seats at crypto arena for lakers game?

In-seat food and drink service. Private entrance vs general public.

How strict is the purse policy like a clutch size 5x9 but with straps?

    I used a 6in x 9in with straps when I went and I didn't have any problem with it.

Food wasn't too expensive with all things considered. I paid $15 for a chicken tenders meal that was delicious and filling. They gave me more information on how while they have their own rules and regulations, each event also have their own set of rules and regulations which makes sense. Spencer a General Manager was very concerned about my experience and validated my experience. Spencer was professional, listened to my experience, but mostly gave me a plan of action of what they can do moving forward. I appreciate the management there. Also I was not paid nor did I take a compensation of any type for this update. It was very upsetting that I got kicked out of the venue because I had a medical emergency and was trying to get out of the crowd. I had to go over the front of the barricade as that was the fastest way for me to get out. I was not told where medical was located only that because I went over the barricade I needed to leave, even though I had a vip access. I was 100% sober, I was non combative, I was very polite. I was there with my wife which is why I got vip access so she didn't have to be down in the crowd. Despite telling the security, calmly, that I had an emergency and I was there with my wife I was still escorted out. But not out entirely as he just showed me the door and the security walked away, I could have easily just went back in. This is also something that is concerning because if I were a combative person, for them not to walk me out fully is concerning as a person opposite of my demeanor could have easily gone back in. I think two things should happen Explicitly put signs that state "if you go over a barricade regardless of emergency or medical emergency you will be escorted out." If people are being escorted out, they need to be monitored and ensure they actually get escorted out. If a person says they have a medical emergency the staff should be conscious of that and escort the person to medical not out of the venue. I had a medical emergency last night and was kicked out vs escorted to medical. I'm glad that I'm okay, it's just unsatisfactory the way I was treated when I explicitly said I had an emergency.

This really cool intimate venue has been around for a while as the spot where old and new bands from Band of Skulls, Unwritten Law, NIIS, SCOWL, Joker's Hand and Destroy Boys (right before they got bigger, opening for Blink 182 on tour!) have all played at. The sounds, acoustics and everything are all dynamically set up by their amazing crew of technicians and staff. Custodians are on their toes keeping things clean around here as well. Security around here are very fair. They don't trip about moshers and stage divers as long as they keep things peaceful and fun! Huge plus! Parking can be a toss up, but that's normal and the price around here isn't bad. Lines usually wrap around the building and into the residential area nearby with peoples' houses. It's pretty damn funny, IMO. I was able to see NIIS, Scowl , Destroy Boys and other awesome bands here . Super chill, fun venue! First off, the parking situation is a nightmare so you better be down to uber if you want any prayer of getting there otherwise you'll be circling the block for 30+ minutes trying to find a spot. Second, the beer was way over priced. You're looking at $17 + tip for a decent sized beer, or paying $11 for a cheap can. That's like Coachella pricing, absolute robbery. Third and probably the biggest turn off, was that the second the last band played their last note, the bar immediately closed and started kicking people out. No final call, no grace period to hang out, just gtfo. Zero hospitality. Overall, I liked the space itself, especially the upstairs lounge / balcony area, but the cons just far outweigh the pros with this place. Logistically terrible location and zero hospitality to speak of paired with overly expensive drinks and not particularly friendly staff did not make me want to come back here. There are far better venues in LA.

I am not a sports fan but I do enjoy experience and raucous, and thus I decided to immerse myself in foreign territory: an octane Watch party. Of course there was no shortage of venues to see the FIFA games. But I went to Mal's bar to participate in two Mexico game viewings. I am not sure how I decided to visit Mal's Bar, but I was glad I did. It was the perfect combination for me: a strong party without the promise of intense desmadre/pandemonium. I saw that on television and although it seemed fun, if I were there I think I would have been scared by the intensity of the wild and unrelenting partying. This is not a chic place, thus do not expect valet. As soon, as I entered I was part of the crowd, due to lack of space, not my ability to blend in with people effortlessly. But honestly, for me that was part of the fun. I know that most of the time, people do not want to be a sardine in a packed canned. But here we were not sardines in packed cane, we were sardines in a cramped aquarium but we were alive, the oils of our bodies lubricated against each other in the name of a good time. And that filled me with joy, up to my gills! Thus this place is not spacious, and it was less spacious due to the crowd. I am not sure how it would be on a regular Saturday but I imagine less crowded, but still packed. On my first visit, I had a mango margarita. And I think I shot myself in the mouth when I ordered. I told the bartender I want a margarita but not with well tequila. He named the other tequilas, and I did not really understand their levels of quality so I told him I was looking to spend 25.00 dollars. I wanted taste that I could stomach because well tequilas usually have a back taste that my taste buds interpret as liquid fire. So he named a top shelf tequila and I asked how much is that, and he said 25.00 dollars. This is where the boom came to my mouth, not because of the quality taste of the margarita but because I had upsold myself. Especially, since when I went the second time to Mal's I ordered a well tequlila Mango Margarita and I could not tell the difference between the first and the second. The first time I went and Mexico scored I experienced the gift of a new experience: Being inside of a scream. When the Mexico team scored the blast of screams, and bullhorns, and other amped up voices swirled all around me. My body buzzed, my skin heard the noise and shivered. I did not expect that. It was off putting in a wonderful way, like feeling a winter's nip on the ears first time--- frosty but it reminds one that they are alive and able to feel! After that I went outside to settle my skin, and I could not come back. I was too shaken, just a little. The second time I went the energy was higher. Mexico advanced and thus its fans were more invested. As I saw the game with other fans, more devoted fans, I braced myself for the yell of a score. But this time, I did not just experience the yell of the score, I heard and felt different emotions: anticipation at near scores, disappointment when these did not come to pass, and the crowd just being present with the game. For instance, when Mexicans were called to make noise, the crowd went wild with national pride. When Ecuador were called to make noise, the boos were present, and not offensive in nature. They were still good sportsmanship just veiled in smack talking. When Mexico scored the yell I was afraid of came, but this time, I joined in the fun and excitement and the jumping and my own participation in the scream of celebration diffuse the anxiety that I received when I did not jump for a score. Mexico scored twice during the Ecuador game and I was in line for the restroom when it happened. I was able to catch a brief video of the celebration, which meant that I was not inside the scream but viewing it. It was a better way for me to enjoy it, at least for me. The DJ or promoter did an excellent job. During half time show the Reggeton beats dropped. And people started to dance but not fully, and he came on and he said with street confidence, "this is a party" encourage all of us to treat this as a club situation. Thus, people tried to meet people. There was a girl who was trying to meet a boy. The boy was talking to me. The girl was pulling him to get his attention. I fully expected for him to part from me because a girl was calling, so I was bracing myself for an abrupt end to the conversation. Yet he dislodged his hand from hers and she got the message. I told him how I much I respected his actions and decision. He then told me, "that will always be there," and then he said "watch" and went to hit on another girl. I was flabbergasted! He had a sure thing but continued searching. So both times I saw and experienced something new!
