But, I love the adorable Disney theme festive gear even on a hot summer day. In the past, I would give this place five stars. But on this visit, I was a bit disappointed. They used to have more variety. They would have on themed clothing, accessories, and more decorations than ornaments. They also used to have more decorations for other holidays, especially Halloween. I bought Haunted Mansion merch the time before this, a and squinted Jack Skellinton shirt before that, plus other things. They also used to have cute items to decorate your car, like the tiny mickey ears. Another complaint from this trip is that some families let their kids who were upper elementary school age, so not babies or toddlers, play ball around the ornaments, and throw items around, I know this sounds petty on my behalf, but really? Does not sound appropriate in a room full of glass. I will be back, but I do hope they return to selling a larger variety of merch.

Right next to Gaston's Tavern, the shop has lots of merchandise, not just Beauty and the Beast-themed. I actually got several items here, including some sweatpants for my sister, a little pillow, and perhaps my favorite item, a plush Belle doll for my daughter. She has never seen the movie, but something about this doll left an impression because it is the only thing she picked wanted whilst we were her at Disney World. And Belle has been on several rides with us now! The staff were very friendly and personable. Oddly, one of the women who helped us is a doppelgänger for my best friends sister. Though we stopped in the shop for a bit of air conditioning, we found some nice little treasures and it's a place you should make a stop if you're around.

The whole area has this French village ambiance, which fits perfect for Fantasyland! Bonjour! Village gifts sells Beauty and the Beast items and collectables themed after the film! There are some of Belle's town details throughout like bookshop and village detail! The merchandise is focused on Beauty and the Beast, with Belle themed souvenirs, artwork, collectibles, apparel, and mugs! I also noticed it felt a little calmer and less crowded than some of the larger Magic Kingdom stores, which made it easier to actually browse and appreciate the details! One thing to know is that the shop can sometimes open later in the day compared to the rest of Fantasyland, so it's worth checking the hours if you specifically want to stop there. The store also closes earlier too. I thought Bonjour! Village Gifts was one of the more charming shops in Magic Kingdom. It's not huge, but the theming and Beauty and the Beast atmosphere make it feel special! Definitely worth stepping into if you're a fan of the movie!

It wasn't as busy as some of the other stores in Epcot! This is a great place to stop at if you're on the way out of the Epcot theme park and you wanted to get a last-minute souvenir!

But we are in the number one tourist destination in this country, if not the world, and we should embrace our good fortune of having all of these touristy things to do basically in our backyard. This spot is right next to Savi's Workshop so if you're making your lightsaber, you can come here right afterwards to pick up more kyber crystals, a lightsaber belt clip, and all your other lightsaber accessories (including legacy lightsabers as well!). They also have a lot of proper cute and good quality outfits/costumes within the Star Wars universe. I picked up a water bottle here too in addition to several of the kyber crystals! It's the most beautifully decorated spot too, so just make sure to look up and spin around and maybe you'll see some extra fun things! ;)

While my mom and I were exploring the United Kingdom Pavilion, we stumbled across this store! The shop blends seamlessly into the pavilions village aesthetic. It has a unique architecture, ornate woodwork and elegant window displays. Inside the store, there are a selection of UK inspired gifts. The inventory can change seasonally though! Inside the store, you'll find tea sets, British candies, shortbread, home décor, fragrances, collectibles, and more! The Queen's Table is connected to other stores in the United Kingdom Pavilion. Each series of shops has different themed aspects of United Kingdom from sports, music, fashion, and literature. It was so much fun exploring all of the shops! The Queens Table was such a unique experience though with all of the different gifts you could purchase!

I stopped into the Stave Church Gallery in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, and it ended up being one…read moreof those little experiences that's easy to miss, but actually worth a few minutes of your time! From the outside, the gallery building was impressive! it was a beautiful replica of an old, about 1200 A.D., traditional Norwegian stave church. The details on the exterior of the building were beautiful. The wood carvings and architectural detail are very interesting when viewed up close. I have passed by this gallery building many times and didn't realize that you can actually enter the gallery. This may be another "hidden gem" for guests at Epcot! There is a relatively short exhibit to walk through that mainly focuses on Norse Mythology specifically the Vikings. The exhibit mainly revolves around some of the main Viking Gods like Thor, Loki & Freyja. Since the exhibit is somewhat small, this exhibit can be walked through fairly quickly. However, the exhibit has been well built out. A large piece of the exhibit is centered around an array of carved figures, as well as several artifacts and exhibits explaining various aspects of Norse Mythology. This exhibit is certainly more educational then entertaining, however, I feel like it was a nice little "mini-museum" type experience within the larger park. One of the things I liked about it is that it's an opportunity to take a break from the crowds! It was cool inside, air conditioned, and gave me time to relax for a little while. Many guests make their way right over to Frozen Ever After next door, as a result, this area can get overlooked! I'm glad I took the time to check it out. It's a cool, low key experience that adds a little depth to the Norway Pavilion!

DON'T MISS THE CULTURAL STORY OF THE BUILDING…read more The Stave Church Gallery is housed in a very impressive looking building in the EPCOT Norway Pavilion. We were disappointed by what we saw inside the building - a single small room with a few artifacts (real or replicas?) with attached stories (ancient Viking myths or Disney movie plots?). Somehow Disney lost us here but during our short visit, we completely missed the story of the cultural significance of the Stave Church. We later learned that the word stave refers to an architectural style using vertical wood posts known as staves. Stave churches were medieval wood churches that date back to Norway 1100s and the EPCOT Stave Church Gallery is a replica of the Gol Stave Church that was built in the 1200s.

The theming in this area has got to be one of my favorite parts. They did a great job making this look like a pirate's treasure room! There are lots of golden coins, large wooden beams and low light, so they maintained that great adventure feeling from Adventureland. I also appreciated how they included pirate scenes in the area! I think it tied into the theme very well. This store felt much more like part of the overall experience. In terms of merchandise, it had everything I would have wanted to buy after riding Pirates. The store contained tons of pirate items such as swords, hats, eye patches and shirts, etc. All of these were fun to look at! I found it to be enjoyable to browse through so much merchandise, that I ended up spending 30 minutes inside the gift shop! There was something about looking at all of those cool pirate things after experiencing the ride that made me want to pick up some merchandise. Some of the apparel was pretty funny too! It can get a bit busy, particularly when many people exit the attraction as a group! You don't need to ride Pirates to enter the store. It also has AC which is a great place to stop inside during the Florida summer months! Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar is one of the best themed gift shops within Magic Kingdom. Whether or not you plan on making purchases during your visit, I recommend stopping by this shop to look at all of the Pirate themed merchandise!

As well as there are bathrooms attached to this location for convenience. I was born on the day that is celebrated as "Talk like a pirate day," so I'm partial to pirates. Aaaaargh mateys! There was some great merchandise with some that made me chuckle. The cast members were only at the register versus greeting and assisting like other locations. Selection and prices are comparable to around in Magic Kingdom, but this location is beaming with treasure (pirate themed items). Ahoy and happy shopping Yelpers! SYOY!
