This place is the real deal. So many unique items including locally sourced. I bought a gorgeous dream catcher from them that was made by a woman in Sonoma County. I have several Sonoma County quartz items and the lady that runs it is very positive and knowledgeable with adorable little pups you can usually see when you visit. The newest review mentioned inconsistent hours, but this is unfortunately due to the owner running it by herself, struggling on and off with a few health issues, and having lost her husband. She had paid for help, but couldn't afford to keep the employee on, so the owner tries as hard as she can to be there during the allotted hours. It's a business worth supporting, and a gem of Sonoma County. read more

I've been coming here for a year now, and I always find something that makes my day better. They have a huge selection of crystals, beautiful gem stones, jewelry, incense, sage, Palo Santo, singing bowls, cards and more. My favorite crystals are the aventurine, carnelian, citrine, and tigers eye. Hell I love them all but these are a few of my favorites. I love how knowledgeable Cami is. She is so sweet. WOW! Such a cute little shop, so much to see, and feel in your soul. The owner of this shop is a sweet soul, kind, and knowledgeable in spiritual matters and crystals/healing stones. My dog was having a surgical procedure done and I needed some sage; was shocked to learn that neither Windsor or Healdsburg had spiritual shops; but Santa Rosa did; so that's where I went!! Thank goodness I found this place. Immediately, upon entering the store there is a good vibe, along with cute little dogs to greet you. The owner (Kami) is very nice, knowledgeable, and will help answer any questions without any pressure. The store is small but they have a large variety of items including crystals (small, medium, and large), jewelry, candles, incense, books, meditation CD's and some other odds and ends. I purchased a beautiful rose quartz ring along with about 15 different crystals. Kami wrapped them in purple tissue paper and took great care in packing them up. Yesterday, I met Melanie who does readings on Wednesday and Saturdays. She seems like a very nice person and someone that I would feel comfortable with doing a reading. I've been coming to Crystal Channels to see Cami and to get healed for well over twenty years now, way before there was a place like yelp to report to. I haven't found another place in Sonoma County where you can purchase a big, unique piece of rose, lemurian quartz, or beautiful, rare smithsonite and have Cami wrap it up just so. She adds the touch of insisting you take a little card with each stone copied from one of her crystal guidebooks that tells you the healing properties of your new gem. Jewelry, incense, silk scarves, Mandy the fluffy Pomeranian, LOTS of minerals, books, Cami, some days Melannie is there, who does quite insightful readings. It's a good proposition all around. My healing journey has been a little of this and a little of that, and I can definitely say that gemstones have been a part of that, I'm glad we have a place right here in our beautiful county to enhance our already lovely environs. read more

As a bookstore, their offerings are quite limited- a few on channeling, Goddesses, John Lennon, crystals and UFOs. They also have statues of Hindu&Buddhist deities. However, their music selection is surprisingly good. They had relaxing Celtic music playing. The store is a soothing spiritual spot. The owner was being friendly and chatty with customers. Cleveland Avenue is a generally industrial, somewhat rundown part of town. Crystal Channels is an uplifting oasis. read more

We visited the new store on Mendocino Avenue (across from Co-Op grocery) for the first time yesterday. Had no intention of buying anything. Just wanted to check out the stones. But seemed to have an instant connection with the owner. We were so incredibly impressed by her informative, friendly, warm presence that we couldn't leave without purchasing 3 beautiful pieces. The owner even looked up more information for us without our asking. Then advised us to take a cell-phone photo, so we can reflect back on our new stone's characteristics later. I'm quite shocked at the reviews for this shop. I've been in quite a few crystal stores, (Sebastopol and a few in gold country) and this one pales in comparison. The store smelled bad (dog urine?) felt unclean, was overpriced and the selection felt like tiny little chips of crystals and minerals. I couldn't believe I paid 72 dollars for a few tiny chips of crystals that were not anywhere near precious. I more recently spent 60 dollars at a crystal store in Nevada City and got several larger stones along with some harder to find ones and all of exceptional quality. I'm giving it two stars only because I feel badly giving any small business one star. If you are serious about your crystals and the energy they hold, I would look elsewhere. read more

I go here for tarot readings from Melanie. She is the REAL DEAL. I feel like it's hard to find legit psychics that really tap into an oracle. You can walk in there, not give information on who you are, and she does connect to your energy. My first reading was probably around age 13. I went in quiet and without expectations. Things that were mentioned in the reading happened and I had totally forgot about the reading until I had some revelations when I was around 18. I went in for another reading at 19 and she's continued to prove that she's legit every time. I've gone 3 times personally and I've also set up a reading for my boyfriend.
