I have been going to this store for over 21 yrs..since i was 4 months pregnant with my daughter..my children grew up around this store and sifting sand to buying crystals..necklaces incense..and having readings will melani..through the yrs the quality has been top of the line...gotta love being able to do your own thing without people hovering over you..but when you ask they whip out a book to read to you about the rocks or crystals in one of the big crystal books that they now sell there...crystal bible? so many wonderful local artist have sold their works here...art pieces hanging on the walls..huge pic of santa rosa along the wall itself..of an arial sceen. i myself have my own little rose quarts hord.. :P. This store has the loveliest, most extensive selection of crystal balls I have ever seen in one place! They are reasonably priced, too, from the tiniest, cutest ones to the large,heavy ones. The pendants and necklaces are beautiful, and all are genuine stones from around the world. A nice selections of crystals, books, and gift items for the spiritually and metaphysically inclined. I love this place for several reasons. The first one is how awesome the owner is - Cami (sp?), the owner. I've been here a couple times and each time with a toddler in tow. My toddler is like a bull in a china (crystal) shop. The last time we went she offered to watch her so I could shop! She played with her and later proceeded to tell me it's a great place for children to learn how to be careful. Rock on! (never had anyone welcome my toddler into their store unless it was a children's store). The owner's little dog, Mandy is super sweet. She loves children and all people. The quality of gems is nice as is the pricing. There is quite a bit of variety here as well. This is a great place to find items to enhance your personal and professional life. The owner also gladly hung a flier on her window for a class I'm coordinating. She also has been free with her information about they crystals and helping find what I need. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. As someone who is new to crystal healing i was happy to see everything was labled and well organized. I also really appreciate that kami took the time to put each stone in its own little bag along with a slip of paper that has the stones name and a short description of its healing properties. My experience here was deplorable. I came in with a friend and told her that they have some things that Milk and Honey in Sebastopol does not (they also have things that Milk and Honey does have, but for better prices than Milk and Honey, but I never got the chance to say that). Well, the owner apparently only heard "Milk and Honey" because she got VERY angry, VERY quickly. She started yelling at me, NOT something I would expect in such a shop, about how her store has been in business since the 1980s and Milk and Honey has only been around for a few years and how she has better everything than they do. I could not help but think "Except customer service, apparently, because it is clear that you did not even hear the compliment I just gave your shop." We were here f over an hour and for the rest of our visit, she was pleasant to my friend, but incredibly terse, if not hostile, to me. Which, actually, I prefer because I do not like my friends to be punished because of something that I said or did. I cannot speak to the atmosphere and energy of the place because it got incredibly hostile and angry within a moment of my setting foot in the door and I hope to one day give it another chance, just not mention the obvious hot button of Milk and Honey. However, even after this experience, I have, and still do, refer friends to this place because they have better Stones than anywhere else in Santa Rosa. Also, if you are allergic to dogs, I do not recommend this place because her dogs wander around everywhere. Personally, I did not mind them, they are sweethearts, but they could, potentially, wreak havoc on allergies. read more

If I could give it 6 stars I would. This place was amazing. My 7 year old son and I walked in there this morning and Cami (the owner) was unbelievably insightful to my sons needs. She knew exactly what we were looking for within a matter of minutes. She worked really well with my son to help him 'feel' his way to the correct stones and crystals. Small very intimate store. Waited until the one other customer had completed their shopping. Talked to the owner Kami (maybe spelled with a C) about how my grounding energy had been "off" lately. She recommended a piece of black tourmaline to carry or wear. Now you must know that you can buy it in multiple sizes and configurations. It is very inexpensive regardless. To say this would be the large sale of her day would be an understatement. I picked out a small flatter piece for my pocket and s small pouch. While browsing I had a feeling that something was pulling me to a display case that was currently covered with other items. Upon moving a few of these, I saw it a pendent of malachite, I screamed you found me and I am yours. I am currently wearing it around my neck. I am a customer for as long as I live in Santa Rosa.
