How well my nails have held up after 3 1/2 weeks!

This salon is clean, spacious, beautiful AND they do great work. Usually when I get my gel nails they have at least one chip within a week. Which is a bummer considering how much we pay for nails. This month has been incredibly busy so I haven't been able to get my nails done after the two week mark. Pictures show right after I got them done and how well they held up after 3 1/2 weeks.

Extremely rushed service, over cutting of my cuticle left me bleeding from two fingers. They did not care to clean the dried blood and moved onto another client, until I asked them to clean it. Hoping the now open wound doesn't result in an infection, would not recommend this place.

You walk in and are greeted by a smiling face, offered a beverage, and the conversation just flows freely. my kids even enjoy goi to my appt! A welcoming atmosphere, customer service is 5 , cleanliness of the shop is 5 . Disregard reviews more than 8 months ago as this has been under new ownership and they have definitely made this a game changer!

I went for a gel x set for a wedding I was going to be in. To say they CRUSHED IT is an understatement. 8 days later and I'm still so happy with the quality. I can't wait for my fill. It was calm and cozy in there while I was there, granted it was a Thursday mid day.

I love my nails!!!! I will definitely be coming back The salon is clean and cute... offering a great environment to relax and enjoy being pampered. Friendly staff and talented nail artists.

The owner was very sweet and took me as a walk in on a Sunday where many nail shops are busy. They didn't have the exact color I was looking for, but mixed colors to give me what I wanted. Tu was really friendly and did an amazing job on my nails! I ended up getting the navy blue color I wanted and I loved the way they turned out! The shop was also. very clean. I have been coming to Crystal Nail Salon since they opened and Kay is AMAZING! Whenever I have a pedicure booked, I know I am in for a treat. Kay is incredibly kind, professional and always delivers the style I love. The massage chairs are so lovely and everything is so clean! As a business owner, I have a hard time finding salons that have wifi so I can work. They are always accomodating and I appreciate being able to relax while getting some work done. I can't say enough good things about this nail salon! Every visit is consistently amazing. Kate and Queen are both friendly, professional, and really take their time to make sure your nails look perfect. I always get gel manicures and they last forever -- no chipping, no peeling, just glossy, beautiful nails that hold up for 2-3weeks! Been going to the same nail technician for almost 10 years. She goes by the nickname of "Queen". Followed her to two different shops in Santa Rosa because she does such a good job. When she moved to this shop in Petaluma, I did not follow her at first, because it was too far to drive. So I went to four different shops and technicians in Santa Rosa and none of them were as good as Queen. Very pleasant personality, EXTREMELY careful and an expert with difficult, painful, ingrown nails! SO...I'm back using her services at Crystal Nails. The shop is clean and modern. The location is great, because there is a Starbucks in the same shopping center, as well as some nice restaurants. Easy to park, and only a couple of miles off Highway 101 on Lakeville Highway. I thought I'd give this place a chance but unfortunately I left feeling disappointed and unhappy. The polish they use seem to be low quality with poor coverage. I had gel manicure and regular pedicure with the same color and the gel is much lighter than the regular polish. She explained to me that this is always the case but from my experience that is not true. The appointment also felt rushed even though in making the appointment online it shows 35 mins for each service and I was done about 10 mins early and there wasn't anyone waiting to be seen so there was no reason to rush. I don't think I will be returning here. read more

Of course, I thought she was Whitney. This is a bait and switch tactic that truly infuriates me. I needed someone really experienced. The haircut I received is the single worst haircut I have had in decades. I can do nothing with my hair, and I am headed to Mill Valley today, 3 weeks later, for another senior hair stylist appointment to fix Aliena's sub-par work. The blow dry I received also is in the running for the worst ever received. I went straight home after the appointment rather than do my errands bc I looked so terrible and my hair was still damp. Aliena is a nice person, but I am really upset that I did not get what I ordered, and on top of that, was deceived about the level of service I received.

This was my first trip to this A Nails Day Spa (the one by the Cotati Post Office). Parking was…read moreeasy and I was greeted by Jennifer, who was busy working on a client. She wasn't particularly warm at first, but she was friendly enough given that she didn't know me at all. The salon itself was clean (a huge plus in my book!) and looked and felt new. My service (removing old gel polish, plus the remnants of two glued-on protective nail extensions) was done by Amy, who did a fantastic job. She took her time to carefully remove the glued-on product without damaging my real nails, and then completed a new gel manicure on my now pretty, freshly trimmed natural nails. I had requested a clear- coat gel polish, but she suggested one with a light pink tint, and it was perfect! I expect my natural nails will grow out to their former length (1/4" beyond my fingertips) within the next two to three weeks, and I'll definitely be calling Jennifer to book another appointment with Amy! As I paid and left, Jennifer thanked me for coming in and made sure to stock me up with coupons to keep for myself and/or share with family and friends. I thought was a nice touch and a smart way to promote the business without being too in-your-face. I'll be back!

Salon is cute, everyone was nice and seemed clean enough.

I came to this salon last week, and what an amazing experience!!! the environment was so welcoming, the people working there were so kind and fun to be around! I've been to many other places in the past where it's been just bad service, felt like the workers were talking to their coworkers bad about you and laughing. This is the best place to do your nails in Petaluma. I've tried many places. Although Crystal's shop in Petaluma is new, she has been doing nails for 28 years. She's great. Her work is perfect. My gel nails last 2 times longer than other places and never peeled up. I came back only because they grew out. So many compliments. This is the only place I'm coming from here out.
