Not considerate of their customers times. I come from out of town & the my past several visits I've scheduled an appointment each time and I've had to wait 45 mins to an hour after arriving. I have been going here since 2008 every two weeks like clock work. I loved my manicurist Vivian but she left so I now have Kim whom I like and is so sweet. You will wait if they are busy, but I always call to make an appt. It's true what others are saying they do up sale but not too much just ask if I want my eyebrows waxed which I usually do anyway. Awful. Waited almost an hour and never received service. I walked out. They should notify customers as they come in if there is a wait, especially one that long! This place literally sucks!! I looked them up online to see their prices and thought they were not half bad and decided to go for a pedicure. When we arrived, they made us wait like 30 minutes to be seated. Pretty average for a Saturday, but then when sat down to actually get it done I was left unattended for 30 extra minutes. They then said they pedicures were $35 dollars. The online price was $20 for a basic pedi. When I explained this, they were LIKE OH A BASIC PEDI. Like yeah that's what I said. They also charged me $12 dollars to cut my cuticles on my fingers and didn't put a clear coat. Did I forget to mention they did a crooked french pedi and didn't put a top coat either. Then added hidden fees. My total was $41 dollars for a $20 dollar pedi. And they were talking about us the entire time. Ew. Gross. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

Stopped in for a pedi without an appt on a Monday night and was taken right away. The girl was definitely not very friendly. She was watching the tv while doing my pedi, actively kept stopping to look. Then she asked if i wanted the $35, $45 or $50 pedi. I was surprised at the high prices. Is there anything cheaper i asked. "Well there is a $25 usually for kids or people with no dry skin. " Wow thanks a lot. So i took the $25, mainly because she hadn't disclosed it was even an option. I have been going to Crystal Nails for the past eight years and could not be more pleased. The salon is run professionally and offers a good selection of nail colors. The managers and staff are helpful and friendly and the salon practices are extremely hygienic. Unlike most places, the pedicure tubs are covered with sterile, disposable plastic linings for each individual customer, in addition to utilizing sealed, sterilized sets of tools. I have had manicures and pedicures done by numerous Crystal staff over the years and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work. While I have only had positive experiences at Crystal, the pedicure I had done recently by Avy was among the best I have ever had. There have been times when I've had to wait up to a half hour until someone was available; however, it has always been well worth the wait! read more

Over all my nails looked great. I got acrylic nails with an airbrushed tip and my niece got a pedicure.i was interrupted twice during mine for her to work on someone else or to cash out another, and he cut me with the electric file, my niece had to wait 10 minutes with her feet in the tub and by the time they got to her, her water had turned cold. She did say that once it was her turn it was an amazing pedicure. But the fact that they helped two people first that got there after her was a little bs. And they did give her a design with two additional colors for no charge. In my opinion the quality of what your paying for is good, but their customer service needs a lot of work. I went in for a Shellac manicure and chose a purple color. The manicurist, Queenly, painted my nails pink and told me it would turn purple with the CLEAR top coat. Of course, my nails are a shade of pink that is opaque and makes my hands look dirty. Queenly new I was unhappy and asked why, so I told her she painted my nails the wrong color and she called me an asshole. read more

I am so disgusted and disappointed in this nail salon. I called earlier in the morning to make an appointment for 12:30. All I was getting done was my acrylic fill! I called and John kindly told me to come on down! I went down at 12:15, I waited patiently due to the fact it was busy in there. The more I waited the more ladies went in front of me! I went to this salon with my new stepdaughter to break the ice with a teenager. I thought it would be a good way to bond. There were no customers and probably 5 employees sitting, doing nothing. I am not a paranoid person, but you know when the employees are saying derogatory things about you in their language? That's what they were doing. I was immediately on guard and asked my stepdaughter if she wouldn't mind going someplace else but she didnt understand why and I didnt want to explain. So against my better judgement, we stayed. BIG HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! The girls led us to the chairs for our pedi's, placed our feet in the tub and then a party of 7 women walked in. The girl that was doing my pedi got up, greeted the women, seated them and then began to do a pedi on somebody else. Shocked and appalled, I said, "excuse me" 4 times before she would look at me, (while the other employees did look over). She very rudely announced, " she have appointment"! To which I replied, then you shouldn't have started me. She turned back and continued what she was doing. After a full 20 mins, I got up, dried my feet, told my now mortified stepdaughter I would be waiting outside. I was furious and she was totally embarrassed! I was sitting on the bench outside waiting and 2 of the employees came out and tried to get me to come back in. I told them that I would not and that I would just pay for the other pedi and never come back. The older woman then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that everybody has to wait...REALLY??? Then, she told me this, "You don't pay but you give tip to girl who wash your feet"!!!! I won't print my reply. DON'T EVER GO HERE! They came out to dress me down when they were clearly in the wrong. Love, love, love Crystal Nail and Spa. I'm a bit biased and will only see Gina or Anh. They are fabulous. I usually get a shellac manicure and a deluxe pedicure which is to die for. Gina and Anh are both very friendly and attentive, asking what you would like and giving you just that. I've had the same services by both and they do an amazing job. Service stations are clean as well as the restrooms and the only reason I can't give it a 5th star is because the sink stations aren't always as clean as the rest of the place! read more

I visited this salon while waiting for my car at firestone. The pros are very friendly staff who understand English pretty well, awesome pedicure ( they will scrape all the dead callus skin off your heels with a new blade if you ask, might be $10 extra. It's hard to find salons that do this. They also apply a mask to your legs which is very cooling), usually no wait upon walk-in. Cons would be overall cleanliness of the salon could improve, my massage chair was broken, color selection is somewhat limited, and no complimentary massage while your nails dry, and a little pricier end. (I think my pedicure was $35) All easy things this salon could fix and I would gladly change my review to 5 stars! read more

I went to this place on Saturday 5/26/18 with my 10 year old daughter for 2 pedicures, 1 gel fill and eye brow wax. Not only did I pay over $150.00 for this but my nail cracked in half that same night. I went back to this nail place on Sunday morning and was told I needed to wait 2 hours to fix my broken nail. As waiting customers were leaving due to long wait times - I pleaded if they can please fix my broken nail since 3 people left the store and they STILLLL refused to fix it!!!! I had to wait almost 2 and a half hours to fix one broken nail!! Not only was this place extremely frustrating but they have poor customer service skills as well. Terrible... I went for shellac polish change and my manicurist was absolutly SO rude and seemed so uninterested in providing good service. She literally would PUSH my hand in the air after she was done applying the polish so that I would know to put my hand in the UV dryer ... She had no "finesse" and frankly that is why I don't mind paying the extra ten dollars down the road at ELLE nail, the best nail salon in town!!!!!!! I've been here a few times recently and had good experiences. There is always plenty of staff on hand because the # of customers does ebb and flow on Saturdays, so that is nice. You don't usually have to wait long. My only complaint is the constant upselling by the staff and manager/owner. If I come in and request a regular manicure, that is what I want. If I wanted a gel, I would request it. It's extremely annoying, but if you can get past that, it's not a bad place to go. read more

I went with my sister 2 weeks ago and got full sets done my nail tech was busy cutting her own cuticles in the middle of doing my nails rolling her eyes being really rough with my nail beds when using the electric filer I felt them burning from her filling too much in one spot. I decided to go back today for a fill and maybe I would get a better nail tech but I got the same one and she was just as rude and rough as before and my nails look like they have already been growing out for a week even though they were just done and they are all uneven and poorly shapes. Meh. Unimpressive. The place is really convenient for a Sunday and that's about it. My nail tech for my pedi was awesome totally understood English and was able to have a conversation with him but nobody else there understood anything. I asked my manicure technician for a simple watermelon design and she looked at me like I had 6 heads. I wasn't too thrilled with the color selections and place was not totally clean. I started coming here a year ago after moving to Middletown. I only kept coming back because I found a nail tech there who was good and shaped my nails exactly how I like. But every time I midd an appointment, they were always running late. I once waited for over 45 minutes and I was there on time for my appointment. I made an appointment in a Saturday at 6 pm. I was just getting in the shower at 4:15 when they called to say they close at 5:30 and not sure who made my appointment for 6. He said if I came right down they would fit me in. I said I could be there in 30 minutes. I raced there only to wait 15 minutes! The salon is a bit dirty and they never wash their hands in between clients or even after pedicures. It's disgusting. I always check closely before she uses files on me. I have often been cut because she watches e writhing and not paying attention or the drill slips and files my finger. It hurts!!!! She didn't completely take off my old set before putting new tips on. I was a nail tech 20 years ago so know when something is not done right. I'm planning on calling the health department. Going here was the worst experience I've had. My friend and I needed a pink and white fill, and my other friend just wanted s manicure. Because I know they can be busy, I called at 11 to make an appointment for 130, we got there 5 minutes before our appointment. They were going to take us (which they should because we had an apt) and a couple people made a big fuss. So they made us sit and wait. When we walked in they asked what we needed, they clearly weren't listening, because we got asked about another ten times. My two friends waited over an hour until someone finally took them. I waited about an hour and forty five minutes before someone finally took me. They were very rude also. Then at the end the girl charged my friend, I stood there told her I needed to pay and she walked away. So I left, and the they chase after me like I just purposely walked out. All in all I was in there for two and a half hours. I will never ever go back to that place, and I don't suggest it to anyone!! read more
