After I had to cancel one delivery last weekend, the driver showed up Saturday early and gave direction on how to wrinkle free the liner before dumping the water. We weren't home for the 2nd delivery on Sunday, but after the water delivery the driver noticed we had a leak in the skimmer and made sure dispatch called me to let me know. I was out of town but able to call someone right away to fix the leak to maintain the water. thanks a bunch to the driver and Dalmation water for all your help. I sat for over three hours calling every hour trying to figure out where they were. I lost a half day of work and the only response from office staff was "oh well , things happen - deal with it!" I was also told they were doing me a "favor" and if I didn't like that I could wait 4 days for them to reschedule. I took 12 hours for them to deliver and fill my pool completely, all because their office staff does not schedule correctly. Not only were the office staff rude, they had a complete lack of empathy.

We had an existing Culligan system that was rather old, and called for a service. From the minute we meet Chad, we knew we were in good hands. He indulged my many curiosities, and took some serious time to explain each detail. After agreeing to our purchase essentially a new system, his installers worked efficiently, and went as far as to attempt to vacuum the hall and hose off the driveway. They sat and had breakfast with me, tolerated my dog following them around, and explained everything about the system I would need to know. Super professional. Very nice. Neat, clean work. Excellent service technicians, highway robbery pricing, terrible customer relations. My Culligan…read morewater softener had stopped consuming salt so I called for service. The $200 diagnostic charge was steep, but I was not prepared for what was to come. After identifying that I had a faulty flow meter, the technician replaced the part (a plastic housing and impeller no larger than a cell phone) and told me that the office would send the bill after they look up pricing for the part. I almost fell off my chair when I received a $900 (yes, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS) bill several weeks later. I suppose it was partly my fault for not getting a full quote before authorizing the repair, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be facing a charge of almost $1k to replace a single part. I tried contacting the office via email and phone, but never got anyone besides the customer rep that scheduled the service. Emails went unanswered, phone calls unreturned, and when I contacted corporate the Operations Manager for the area told me he was in NJ and that I needed to contact the local office. Needless to say, whenever this system needs to be replaced I will not be going with Culligan but rather a generic system that can be serviced by any plumber and not require exorbitantly priced proprietary parts. I'm happy with the system and service, but wouldn't recommend unless you have money to burn.

Five stars for Culligan. Why one star? ACQUA FINANCE is the company that financed our $5500 purchase at zero interest. Never was late with a payment in three years. I made the last payment Days ago. Happened to check my bank account today and was stunned to see that Acqua Finance continued to withdraw a payment from my account. Called and they refused to talk to me claiming my wife was the account holder. We spent about two hours of phone time and MAY be getting a refund In 2-3 weeks! Called the bank to block them in the future. Must pay a bank charge of $35 for each block. Avoid ACQUA FINANCE. I asked why something so reasonable as my request for an improper withdrawal was so problematic for them. They said they must follow their process. I mentioned my review was not going to be good when I wrote it. The supervisor said, "we get that all the time. " That alone is frightening.
