The owner came to my house to inspect what happened and acknowledged that it was installed incorrectly and it was their fault. He said he would do the right thing and pay for the damage to the one cabinet and moldings. The cost to fix/replace the damaged areas was less than $1000 but when time came for the owner to do the right thing, he stopped responding to my texts and stopped returning my phone calls. After giving this company so much business and then having them handle this situation so poorly/unprofessionally/disrespectfully, I would never be able to recommend them to anyone. I was a great customer who spent thousands of dollars over the course of 2 years and unfortunately, their handling of this matter tells me everything I need to know about them.

I was satisfied with their work and the cost for both systems (including discount) seemed reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. EDIT: our icemaker stopped working after the installation and we assumed that they had forgotten to hook it back up to the system. That turned out to be incorrect, and instead there was apparently too much are in the line that took a long time (weeks) to purge out. During this time they came and looked at it again, modified the plumbing to shorten the feed line, and even offered to order and install for free a pressure tank in the basement to correct this. But... after about a month for whatever reason (again, I assume the air in the line is now gone) our icemaker works fine without the extra pressure tank.

They is no sense of urgency to reach back out or respond to inquiries. More than a year ago, we were having issues with billing. I reached out to the answering service and did not receive a follow up. After the second attempt, I tried to have the service cancelled because of how sparse returned inquiries but worked with the company to continue. Yesterday I called to cancel service and was told their computers were down, they'd call me back once the systems were back up. No returned phone call. This morning I got ahold of them with no apologies for failing to return calls and was just told "I'll take care of it for you". The person on the phone couldn't find information that the bottles were returned or if I was charged for Jan. But "she'd take care of it". Almost as to close the call. Because of the lack of transparency , I requested a paper or email confirmation. There are other water services here, idk about their customer service but if we were staying I'd give them a try. Update: One hour after posting this review I received another bill, we haven't had service since late December. I will be reaching out to BBB to straighten this out.

The $200 diagnostic charge was steep, but I was not prepared for what was to come. After identifying that I had a faulty flow meter, the technician replaced the part (a plastic housing and impeller no larger than a cell phone) and told me that the office would send the bill after they look up pricing for the part. I almost fell off my chair when I received a $900 (yes, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS) bill several weeks later. I suppose it was partly my fault for not getting a full quote before authorizing the repair, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be facing a charge of almost $1k to replace a single part. I tried contacting the office via email and phone, but never got anyone besides the customer rep that scheduled the service. Emails went unanswered, phone calls unreturned, and when I contacted corporate the Operations Manager for the area told me he was in NJ and that I needed to contact the local office. Needless to say, whenever this system needs to be replaced I will not be going with Culligan but rather a generic system that can be serviced by any plumber and not require exorbitantly priced proprietary parts. I'm happy with the system and service, but wouldn't recommend unless you have money to burn.
