Sauna was ready to go and just needed to add steam to get it roaring. The little 15 minute sand dial partially worked and needed some assistance at time. 50* water for the cold plunge was refreshing. I did it three times during my session, first time was for a minute, second time I was more mentally prepared and worked on my breathing which allowed me a five minute session, last time two and a half minutes as I was done with it The massage was zen. When it comes to a massage therapist's routine, Joanna kept me at bay and relaxed to where I couldn't move I was so relaxed. Takes a lot for me to mentally check out too and I was right on the cusp. Place is a self care one stop shop. I have done two floats here too over the past year and I am strongly considering getting a membership just to commit to self caring more.

I think since my head was out of the chamber, the heat was tolerable and I woke up drenched in sweat!! I had that buzzy endorphin feel after working out! David and his mother who run it are really nice, helpful and passionate about what they do. David was able to explain the whole process and how the far infrared sauna works. They both were really kind and happily took the my time answering questions. It was not packed, but they were steadily busy when I went. I fall asleep really easily so I did not have any issue with background noise, but for folks who are light sleepers you might want to bring ear plugs, but they also provide them for you if you forgot to bring them. I developed a blistered/bubbled area of skin, experienced significant pain, and have been dealing with the injury and healing process for weeks. This has had a meaningful impact on my day-to-day activities and overall quality of life. I believe anyone considering cryotherapy should be fully informed about the potential risks and should feel confident that appropriate safety procedures are being followed. My experience has left me questioning whether adequate precautions and safeguards were in place during my treatment. I am sharing this review based on my personal experience so that prospective customers can make an informed decision. The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need.
