Cool local spot we finally got to go check out. Huge parking lot, easy in and out. Simple and straight forward menu good ice cream and hot and fresh cookies. I kept it simple and did a chocolate chip cookie with chocolate ice cream, it was great. Room to sit but seems a lot of folks picked up to go while we where there too. My daughter wanted water and they only had seltzer water, that was odd but may be they ran out. If not an ice cream shop will make a killing from bottled water sales and I hope they get that option for next time. Service was fast, staff was friendly, experience was great. I was in the Huntington Beach area and was looking for a dessert spot on Too Good to Go when I stumbled across a deal at Crzookie for three cookies for $4.99 plus tax. I had never been here before and thought it was worth a try. I purchased the deal and picked it up right away. They're actually an ice cream shop that specializes in ice cream cookies. I was given a sugar cookie, a macadamia nut cookie, and a lemon blueberry cookie. The cookies were served warm, so I had really high expectations and thought they would taste like they were made from scratch. Unfortunately, I don't think they were based on the taste and texture. They reminded me of store bought cookies, similar to Costco's. They also fell apart as I picked them up. They were a little too rich and sweet for me. Even as someone with a sweet tooth, I don't think I'd pair these cookies with ice cream because they're already very sweet. If you enjoy rich, soft, gooey cookies, you might like these. I personally prefer my cookies to be a little chewier. The customer service, though, was excellent. read more

Decent cookies. Warm cookies when you first buy them but once they cool down, they're crunchy and taste like basic cookies from target. They aren't bad, but def had better. $4.50 per cookie is kinda wild tho. Spent $23 on 6 cookies and ended up giving them away. Cute spot to visit tho. read more

The white chocolate cookie was really good. The ice cream was awesome. It taste like churro/cinnamon roll. It had something crunchy in it I don't know if it was ice chips or something. Well I pass by this place once a month and was curious about it because of the name. I decided to finally look it up and actually go. The cookies were all fantastic. And the freshness lasted for a couple of days. They also had oatmilk based ice cream that was amazing. The service was great too. The only thing I was disappointed about is that we drove over 10 miles for the lemon blueberry cookie and it was the ONLY one not available. They said we could wait 20-30 minutes if we wanted one, but that wasn't really an option. I will go back again, though and hope they have the lemon cookie available ...... I arrived at opening time (11 AM) to pick up a box of cookies as a gift for a friend's birthday lunch. The shop was initially locked and opened late with only one girl running it. When I went into the store, she said the shop was behind and the cookies would take 15 minutes to bake, which was reasonable. I placed my order for a box of 6 and ended up waiting 40-45 minutes. I would understand if there was a line or cookies were selling out, but no one else was in the shop. It was highly unprofessional for the store to not only open late and be unprepared, but also to provide an inaccurate wait time with no compensation. As a new business, there should be more than one employee or at least a manager to ensure smooth operations. The store should also not open until the cookies are ready to serve. If I had known I would have to wait over 40 minutes, I would have left. The employee also mentioned there was an online order form, but we could not find anything on the website. The cookies are also expensive at $5 each and nothing remarkable. Milk & Cookies (various locations in OC) offers the same for more reasonable prices for their more simple flavors like chocolate chip. ***ALSO: its suspicious and painfully obvious that there were 5 star reviews written right after my comment by inactive accounts, with nothing specific about what they ordered. An ice cream shop that is responsibly priced in Orange County, CA is a rare gem. A scoop costs $4 while a double scoop is $5. I'm shocked. The store is clean and parking was easy to find. The associate who helped me was kind in offering suggestions. I agree with her that the vanilla ice cream is delicious at this place. They had some unique flavors as well. Next time I'll only get cookies. I guess it's meant to be a late night place rather than an early morning place. Unfortunately they only open at 11am, so you can't swing by in the morning to get cookies for the office or get a cookie and a coffee for yourself. In fact they don't even serve coffee. Second Visit, Still Obsessed! Had to come back to Crzookie, and honestly, they're 2 for 2 in blowing us away. This time, we swung by to pick up dessert for my parents as a thank-you after dinner and Crzookie made us look very good. We tried some new combos and were just as impressed as our first visit. The Reese's peanut butter cookie with cookie dough ice cream was a perfect match for peanut butter lovers. Rich, chewy, and just the right level of sweet. The cookies and cream cookie with Cookie Monster ice cream was nostalgic and playful; that blue ice cream just never gets old. And the triple chocolate cookie with half Serious Business and half chocolate was dangerously good. It was like the ultimate chocolate overload in the best possible way. We drove ALL the way from LA just to come to Crzookie, and it was beyond worth it. The second we walked in, Lavinya and Alexis treated us like VIPs. Once we told them we came all the way from LA, they went completely above and beyond letting us try every sample, and making the whole experience unforgettable. We ended up getting cookies & cream cookies, salted caramel, and a triple chocolate chip cookie with cookies & cream ice cream, plus the dairy-free vanilla chip (which was amazing)!
