This place is not what it used to be. At some point ownership changed and things have gone down in my opinion. One thing I noticed on prior visits is that most of their servers have left and moved on to other local restaurants. The restaurant itself needs a good deep cleaning as well. We visited today which is Sunday. Restaurant was packed and they only had one server busting her you know what to get tables taken care of. As you can imagine there was a wait to get food. The young lady that took our drink orders looked and acted annoyed with any request being asked. We finally got a chance to place our orders after about a 15 minute wait. They were out of bacon and sausage and only offered turkey bacon and turkey sausage. I ordered the chicken and waffles which is usually pretty good. By the time our food came we needed refills. We couldn't catch our server in time to make the request. The young lady that originally took our drink order was MIA so we hurried up and finished our meal sans a refill. Our server finally brought our check and I immediately gave her my card cause I didn't know how long I would have to wait for her to come back around. C's Waffles bills itself as "America's True House of Waffles" and sits on the cornet of Broad Street and Washington Avenue (U.S. Highway 1) in a small strip mall. It has an incredibly friendly staff that makes you feel very much at home. Since I prefer savory breakfasts to sweet breakfasts, instead of their waffles, I went with an omelet. It was a nice way to start my day. All in all, C's Waffles is a great place to grab breakfast and I like that it is a local business instead of a national chain restaurant. I've heard about this diner but always worked during business hours however this morning was Spring Break for me so we enjoyed this little gem. Luckily today we came when they had a wing special for $.75 a wing and we also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Crystal was our Owner/waitress and she was so sweet and courteous. The diner is quite large inside. They also have lunch and desserts to choose from as well. The pork shops were crispy and the grits were very creamy. We just happened upon this restaurant. We almost didn't go in, because the outside looked run down. CJ provided top notch service! He was so great with the kids, gave recommendations for those of us who couldn't decide what to order, and was so patient/kind when we spilled lemonade! We asked for the eggs on the side and they assumed on the side meant , touching the food and sitting inside the same box. The hashbrowns weren't cooked and barely gave us any. They don't understand personal space and sent out to go food out on plates initially and had to re plate. The atmosphere was terrible they have kids running around behind the kitchen. I am probably sick bc they placed my allergy food touching all the rest of it. Highly do not recommend. Not a comfortable or clean place. read more

There was a time when this restaurant was a delight to visit. An older gentleman would talk to customers, inquire how they like the food and made you feel welcome. Now, the restaurant is always dirty, the food is a hit or miss and the service sucks. Male staff walking around with pants sagging and female staff are grouped together at the food window having conversation instead of checking on their customers. The neglect was obvious as the request for water was made 3 times before it was given. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. It isn't the same anymore. read more

I'm gonna get this out of the way. The food is decent. And when I mean decent it's actually good. The chicken and waffles were pretty good, well at least the chicken part. For a place that apparently specializes in waffles, they were just not good enough. They tasted old and disgustingly crunchy. My mom ordered a hot chocolate and she said it was one of the worst hot chocolates she's ever had. It was literally just hot water with chocolate flavoring. That's not a hot chocolate. It was especially annoying because the hot chocolate's are very expensive. But the service, holy crap, the service was awful! The first girl who helped us with drinks was fine and pretty nice. But the second woman who served our food, wow! She refused to make eye contact and when we said thank you for the food she looked irritated and just walked away and mumbled something to herself. How rude! What's more, when I saw her serve another group of people she was a completely different person actually talking to the customers and much nicer. I wish I knew her name because I think she was just racist because we were not white enough. This kind of behavior is just not acceptable. We usually leave tips at restaurants like this because the majority of the time they deserve it, they work hard. This time I did not leave a tip because it was simply not deserved. Overall this experience was so bad and downright disgusting. I will not come back to this place ever again. Oh and this place was very dirty so I hope I don't get food poisoning. read more

Popped by for a quick breakfast while visiting from out of town. I didn't love what I got but that may partially be my fault for not reading the menu close enough. I thought the Piggy sandwich was ham, sausage, and back with scrambled eggs on bread, but it's actually very tiny bits of ham, sausage, and bacon scrambled with eggs. The result was an unappealing messy scrambled eggs with lots of very tiny little bits in it on bread and you didn't really get any distinct meat flavor. I probably should have ordered a waffle. Service was okay, but a bit slow. I'd be willing to try again and hopefully enjoy it more next time. read more

I have now tried this restaurant twice and was disappointed both times. About two months ago I stopped in for breakfast and the scrambled eggs were overcooked, rubbery and brown. I didn't care for their breakfast gravy and biscuits. The biscuits were grilled (I'm assuming that they aren't fresh) and the gravy has a sweet, fermented flavor. Today, I tried them again for breakfast and service was very slow but friendly. my hashbrowns were a dark brown and way too crunchy. The waitress did replace them, but they didn't get to my table until I was finished with the rest of my breakfast. When I got my check, I found that they were charging $ 0.56 premium if you used a card. I had cash and paid with that, which they are still accepting. There should have been a prominently posted sign if they have adopted this policy. I wouldn't have entered the restaurant if I'd have known that they were doing that. To my knowledge this is the only restaurant in Titusville that charges more if you use a card. I prefer smaller Mom and Pop type places, but it'll be a couple more months before i try this one again. If things don't improve it'll be the last time. read more

The restaurant barely had anyone in it when we walked in. We stood by the door awkwardly for a few minutes until they finally told us to sit where wanted. We sat down for at least 20 minutes and only received drinks, my friend got a coffee and nobody ever came back for him to ask for a spoon to stir it before we gave up and decided to leave. I just don't understand how there were 6 servers all hanging out in a nearly empty restaurant and nobody could take our order. Its sad when I'm trying to support local businesses and receive such poor service that I'm cutely riding to a denny's. read more

Very good breakfast. No canned dog food looking hash here. The corned beef hash is made fresh, easily the best I have ever had. My wife is vegan. They made a delicious accommodation meal. So the food was amazing. I ate the "Veggie Mess" with my eggs over medium and white toast. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect breakfast. However, the service was subpar. This is the reason I can only give four stars instead of five. Their ability to handle the large Saturday breakfast crowd is not there. Once they get that down, I believe this is another Titusville breakfast "gem". Update***** We came to C's again, and the breakfast was great but the service was not. The restaurant is at half capacity but it still took us an hour and a half to eat our breakfast. There's gotta be a balance of amount of people and the number of employees. This restaurant can't seem to get that right. Still leaving four stars because if you do takeout and avoid the dining experience, it's great. read more

We had lunch at C's Waffles in Titusville yesterday. The food was good. Overall large portions and tasty. They have a good varied menu of breakfast and lunch choices. They are open until 2:30 pm. The 3 star rating comes from the fact that the restaurant was not clean. We sat near the windows and they were disgusting. There is a film over the windows to shield folks from the sun but it doesn't hide the gooey fingerprints and smudges or the dirty ledges. Even the glass doors as you enter were smudged. It made us wonder how clean the kitchen might be if they ignored the cleanliness of the dining area. The floors were terrazzo with a dull finish. They may have been swept but didn't look clean either. Sorry.... there are other diners in the area that offer similar choices and a much cleaner dining area. C's Waffles in Titusville needs to clean up their act. read more
