Staff were friendly and checked in on us. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, drinks were refilled. I love a good BLT, this one was with fried tomatoes! Lots of bacon, could have stood another piece of lettuce, but I just like extra lettuce. I can't eat mayonnaise and asked that it be left off, and it was! Breakfast/brunch/lunch place, so plan appropriately before you head out. The food is always fresh, the service is spot on, and it's exactly what you want from a local diner. I've only come here for breakfast, but I'd guess lunch is just as good. They do offer a military discount and they're also on Toast (get those reward points!). I went for lunch Ordered the flounder lunch. The restaurant had gotten a bad batch of fish . It was kind of gummy. The broccoli was vibrant green and the salad was cool crisp greens , The tomatoes were very sweet and ripe. Such a great place to enjoy a delicious meal! I like the booths and the atmosphere. It's a cozy, comfortable place. Great menu and diverse. You can have breakfast or other meals including comfort food, and country home style cooking. I've never had a bad meal here. The service is super! Waitresses are so nice. They get your telephone number and you get points for what you order. Then they give you credit off your bill the next time or so. One visit my bill was about 15.00 but when I was checking out the server said I had a 7.00 credit! So my meal was like 7 bucks. Pretty cool. I chose this place last year for my birthday dinner. The waitress gifted me with a delicious cranberry apple muffin! So good. Highly recommend Debbie's!!! read more

Called in last evening after being out all day. I had the pork my wife had the cheese ravolli. The pork was beautifully cooked partnered by a nice mushroom sauce. My wife really enjoyed the cheese raviolli. The service was attentive mixed with nice background music. For a diner they do a good job for evening dinner. I did Uber Eats takeout, so I can't say anything about the ambience or parking. The food was a diner was a grand-slam home-run! The line cook could toss his spatula to the side, and run around the dining room in celebration! There are so many breakfast joints around the area. Most of them are terribly disappointing. Debbie's Diner lives up to serving great food that is so good, it's even packaged well enough to survive a 20 minute drive, and still rock the house. Ordered a $12.50 Breakfast Special ($13.50 reg price) at 10:00 am. Made big mistake by not checking receipt closely till later afternoon. Called then and they said the morning Specials were erased from the board at 11:00am and they couldn't verify or make a correction. NOBODY knew what their morning Specials were? NOBODY there knows a customer billed $41.19 is ALWAYS RIGHT for $1.00? My conclusion: Next time-NO TIP for you! read more

WOW! I have been in Savannah for a while now and have always noticed Debi's on bay street with the sign of: "Breakfast all day". Recently, I saw a U-Tube video of Debi's and decided to try them. BOY! WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! Really great atmosphere (beautiful old building), nice servicers. Family owned and run restaurant. GREAT food at very affordable prices. Such a hidden Jem in savannah. They serve fried chicken on Thursdays and I'll be back this week to try it out. Fried chicken and three sides - looks wonderful in the reviews. I'll post an update. read more

I first posted a review of this little diner about 15 months ago. We were very pleased with our first visit. Since then we have eaten here regularly. It's become a favorite. There is nothing fancy about the decor, as I said before, very down home. The staff is very friendly, fun to be with. I read a negative review that says they hate tourists. I never saw anyone treated poorly, especially some people with pretty bad handicaps who are accommodated with care. Breakfast continues to be delicious. I have never had the waffle but it looks like a super delicious treat when it arrives at other tables. Recently they have started serving dinner on Thursday and Friday night. I have really enjoyed the dinners. Usually there are 3 Special Dinners: prime rib, an Italian dish and something else. Last week it was roast leg of lamb. So good! The Prime Rib is not Ruth's Chris but it is tender and juicy and for $15.99 with 2 sides it is a great meal. You can order off the menu at dinner time too and lots of people do. Saw some delicious looking sandwiches and salads going by. The salads are always crisp and fresh. My husband likes their soups. I hope they keep staying open Thursday and Friday. Friday there's an all you can eat fish fry, but I have never tried that. As I said before, nothing fancy but very satisfying. read more

Honestly one of the best meals you'll ever have! We always make sure to stop in when we are in the area. Today was no exception as we stopped by after getting off cruise ship. Staff are always super friendly and welcoming. We ordered omelets, dive into breakfast combo, and two egg and meat combo. Portions were generous, and everything was cooked PERFECTLY. We were so excited that I completely forgot to take photos of our meals! They also have great daily specials! Do yourselves the favor when you go, and get a side of Potato Cakes..which are super yummy and unique! Debbie's Diner never disappoints with their awesome food and great customer service. This small locally owned spot runs circles around the large corporate owed restaurants..and we'll spend our money here every time. read more

The food here is phenomenal and my husband and I went quite often, but had to quit going because we couldn't get past the smell. I know it's not their fault, because that's the downside of being located on Merritt Island. I do recommend the food, just recommend getting it to go. read more

Say less all the previous reviews were spot on. This is a wonderful family- owned business. The service was excellent from start to finish. We met the owner's daughter and granddaughter. Everyone was obeying Covid protocol. They even had hand sanitizer on the table. The bathroom was clean and it had a homey feeling. The food was a better than average.
