Upon entering, I was immediately offered a snack and drink. I was about 20 minutes early for my appointment and waited less than 3 minutes to be brought into the check in process. Check in was smooth, especially if you fill in the form online before getting to your appointment. My assistant through the process was great. Very customer focused. Making sure I was feeling ok. Making sure she accommodated my needs with regard to needle sticks and sight of blood. Huge array of snacks and drinks for your recovery. I actually stayed there a bit longer in one of their lounge chairs and finished my book. Great experience!!

There's a cute resting area with snacks, beverages, magazines, a fireplace, and comfortable chairs where you chill and eat cookies for 15 minutes after you donate. They also have a huge library of dvds for the people donating platelets which takes 2-3.5 hours. A regular blood donation takes about 30 minutes all-in. The nurses were really nice and will chat with you to keep you distracted from the massive needle in your arm, and my nurse brought me a couple of cranberry juices to keep me from getting lightheaded. She also did a great job with the needle, it was honestly pretty much painless! There's a free parking lot, same lot as the Festival Foods store, and they accept walk-ins but you can also make appointments online! You can donate blood every 8 weeks; it's a nice thing to do on a day off to 1. Be a good person and 2. Eat some free Oreos... so get at it!

A few months ago I went to see Dr. McCarthy in Eagan. He works out of both Eagan and West St. Paul. I had a really bad toenail. After some discussion we decided to remove the nail. The process was much easier than I had anticipated and relatively painless. My toe feels much better. I recently went back to see Dr. McCarthy to discuss both of my big toes. He gave me a couple of treatment options. Again we were able to complete the procedure the same day. My wife has now also seen Dr. McCarthy for a foot issue. We appreciate both Dr. McCarthy and his nurse for their care. Our feet are definitely feeling better after a visit to our good feet Dr. McCarthy.

When I rang "their" number it's the central Allina number in Coon Rapids, who couldn't get hold of them (no one picked up) and couldn't provide me with a direct number, as the Coon Rapids telephone factory operates internally with only extensions. There is no number for this clinic. Blood work elsewhere, eg. Allina United Family Clinic, is usually same day and appears on MyChart. Apparently the African American lab staff also have to deal with racism from patients who don't want their blood drawn by black people. Go anywhere else. Adding this: I found out a few days later that they hadn't billed the blood tests to my insurance, and consequently I got a bill for $$677.29. This necessitated me having to create an account with Quest Diagnostics and go and enter insurance information there. It's still pending. Results didn't take the usual day, they took a week to receive and only after I'd registered and entered insurance details with Quest Diagnostic. It was like Quest were holding them until they knew where payment was coming from. Results are not on my Allina's MyChart, meaning the feature where you can compare them to previous test results was defeated. I've been an Allina/United Hospital patient for years. My insurance details are already all in their system. There's just no excuse for this level of discombobulation just because i'd moved and thought I'd get my regular tests done at a nearer Allina clinic. I'll be taking the bus an hour each way to my former clinic rather than go through this again.

Was referred here for an MRI…read more I have never had one before and so when I called to make appointment I had to ask a lot of questions about procedure, they weren't that forthcoming over the phone At check in there is alot of paperwork involved , the radiology tech was super nice - although think I made her nervous when I told her I don't do well with shots Literally did not know I was getting the IV contrast dye that day- they hadn't told me upfront so I was not prepared- anyway the scan was tolerable as they give you headphones to listen to music Still the machine is soo loud - let's hope I never have to do that again!!

Never did I expect to feel like a goddess while going to a dermatologist but Tareen's team made me…read morefeel that way. I was recommended to the clinic by a few people and reached out to them instead of the U for a skin/spot check after my doctor missed my cancer diagnosis (I'm so glad I kept pestering them and asked for another opinion...thanks Fairview...) Anyway, they already knew my diagnosis at Tareen and they proceeded to do a full body check on all my other spots then they scheduled me for a small surgery to remove the known bad spot. They scheduled me out after the summer to let me enjoy myself before I had sutures and followed up with me about another little troublesome spot that turned out to be nothing but some irritated skin treated with some ointment. When it was time for my surgery Dr Tareen herself asked how my other spot was (I know they have a file they review beforehand but this was so nice and unexpected, her bedside matter is nothing I've ever experienced before - she sees hundreds of people and can still treat each of us like humans). The doctor and the team who cut me and sewed me back up were very nice. I'm glad I brought my book though while waiting in-between checks since the giant TV on the wall with gross pictures made me a little nauseous after a while (and I'm a freakin' vet tech! Maybe I shouldn't have turned down their snacks). Highly, highly recommend Tareen and her team to anyone who needs expert skin care. My husband had a similarly sized spot removed this year as well and he went to the U - his scar is super blotchy and mine you'll barely be able to see in a while. I was thinking I'd get a tattoo to cover it up but I won't have to!

My mom had removals here in the past and always healed with very minimal scarring, so I was…read moresurprised and disappointed with my more recent experiences over the last couple of months. Healing seemed different than what she'd experienced before, and the scarring was much more noticeable than expected. I'm not sure if something changed with the process or materials used, but unfortunately the results have made me hesitant to bring her here in the future if this continues. I'll still give two stars because the doctors and staff have always been very kind and professional, and the procedures she had done last year healed extremely well with almost unnoticeable scarring. We were very happy with those results at the time.
