Upon entering, I was immediately offered a snack and drink. I was about 20 minutes early for my appointment and waited less than 3 minutes to be brought into the check in process. Check in was smooth, especially if you fill in the form online before getting to your appointment. My assistant through the process was great. Very customer focused. Making sure I was feeling ok. Making sure she accommodated my needs with regard to needle sticks and sight of blood. Huge array of snacks and drinks for your recovery. I actually stayed there a bit longer in one of their lounge chairs and finished my book. Great experience!!

There's a cute resting area with snacks, beverages, magazines, a fireplace, and comfortable chairs where you chill and eat cookies for 15 minutes after you donate. They also have a huge library of dvds for the people donating platelets which takes 2-3.5 hours. A regular blood donation takes about 30 minutes all-in. The nurses were really nice and will chat with you to keep you distracted from the massive needle in your arm, and my nurse brought me a couple of cranberry juices to keep me from getting lightheaded. She also did a great job with the needle, it was honestly pretty much painless! There's a free parking lot, same lot as the Festival Foods store, and they accept walk-ins but you can also make appointments online! You can donate blood every 8 weeks; it's a nice thing to do on a day off to 1. Be a good person and 2. Eat some free Oreos... so get at it!

Issues with tendinitis (tennis elbow) for 6 weeks made me think I needed to be seen by an…read moreorthopedic doctor. My GP can't get me in until December. I decided on TCO Blaine due to their close location to my home and their new facilities. I contacted my insurance, and they are in-network!! I was able to make my first appt within 7 days of calling. Check-in was a breeze. The lobby directory told me to report to the 2nd floor clinic. Big enough lobby with a big TV and coffee bar. My wait wasn't long. The reception, Medical Assistant (Makenzie??) and Medical Doctor (Dr. Ridley) were friendly and welcoming. After my exam, it was recommended that I return for hand therapy. Appointments are made on the 1st floor so I headed down to that suite. A gentleman helped me make an appointment for 4 days later (today, Friday). So today was my 2nd time here. Today, I met with Katie, an occupational (hand) therapist. She was great! She worked on my wrist, arm, and shoulder to see where I was having pain. She gave me verbal and written instructions/ homework/ daily exercises to do at home for the next couple of weeks. So we'll see how I feel in 6 weeks. It may be one and done, or I'll need to see her again. Haven't received a bill, so I can't speak on that yet.. But overall, I've been happy with how I've been treated.
