I've been here a few times & loved it. Today I went in for a pedi again this time got a different person. I got an older lady and she hurt my toes so bad I'm not sure she knew what she was doing. Im a nail tech as well & everything she did was so wrong. Then another younger lady (super nice) took over & tried fixing what the other lady did. They look so ugly & they hurt so bad. I am disappointed with my manicure I received, I felt the edges were not cleaned up well as you can see in the photo. I don't really feel welcome in this salon, the gentlemen seemed ill as he was coughing (he was wearing a mask) and left after my manicure without saying goodbye. The water was also cold, and I don't think the brush's bristles at the bottom that's attached to the handle didn't look very clean. It's just okay for a quick stop, but I will try and find a more friendly nail salon. read more

Went in for a gel x mani and I am very disappointed with how my nails turned out. $70 and 2 hours later, I came out with uneven misshapen nails where the nail tech used way too much glue that it was burning my skin under the UV light which when I called out he said he would remove it after. With Gel X you can't use too much glue or it creates space for water and dirt to get in and makes the nails pop off easily. I asked him for extra short almond, these are way longer than I wanted and i don't like the way he shaped them. Never coming back here again. So disappointed read more

if I could give this 0 stars I would. My daughters and I get our nails done often but decided to try a new business and wanted to give them a chance. The male nail tech nicked her cuticle,and made it bleed, and when she tried to tell the nail tech he tisked her shook his head. She tried again a little while later and couldn't get his attention because he had his AirPods on and wouldn't listen. Trying not to cause a scene in the salon I called the salon after we left to see if we can somehow rectify the situation through a manager and maybe see if they could either give us a slight discount on our nails since my daughter wasn't happy or have somebody else fix it for us. He yelled at me and said I was trying to get something for free, I said I didn't want anything for free and that if he went to a salon and somebody did a terrible job on the nails, wouldn't he want them to fix it and make it right. All he did was sit there and argue with me the entire time and then ended up hanging up on me. we have been getting our nails done pretty much all out lives, and this is the rudest most unprofessional salon I've ever been to. Don't waste your time nor your money there. read more

CLEAN AND SANITARY 5. Attentive Professionalism and cleanliness is my most important things I look for in a nail salon first and foremost. I've been to a lot of nail salons and some don't autoclave their instruments but CTK does! And I don't like some of the other nail salons where the workers talk crap in their language about the customers that don't understand. They are very professional. Lastly, they have to be attentive. I really wanted to like this place as I usually go to Paula's in the valley and was hoping to find a gem here in Simi based on all of positive reviews. Nope! The wife did my pedi and I had an ingrown toenail and she was so rough. The first time I said ouch, the second time I said can you go easier (and the husband who was doing my mani said something), the third time I admit I yelled STOP. They thought I meant the entire service but I just meant the toe. It still hurts 3 hours later. Just no. Kevin was super nice. But his biogel mani needs work. The shapes and lengths are inconsistent, he really roughed up my cuticles and I'm still picking glue off my fingers from a couple of acrylics he placed to deal with broken nails. It was not inexpensive, a little more than I pay at Paula's and the work is not as good. read more

Came in today bummed because I broke a nail. I normally get bio gel. He fixed my broken nail with a dip fake nail. I showed the picture I had in mind of these cute nails. I feel mine are cuter than the picture I brought in. They are always hustling so make sure to call ahead. They are polite and patient which I appreciate a lot.
