Awesome outdoor seated cafe. Hidden behind stores this place has awesome sandwiches and coffee. Outdoor seating in a gazebo environment not the cleanest but it suits the vibe. We thought it was awesome. We had the Cuban mix and the veggie hummus sandwiches. Both were great. Both are quite large but finish-able. The beans and rice were really good too. You sit outside and there's roasters walking around pretty cool. read more

All hail the queen! This place was suggested by my sister's colleague and I cannot thank him enough. Over the course of my week there, I became obsessed the Cuban Coffee Queen. I went as often as my schedule allowed. Their iced coffee is out of this world. If you want to "fancy it up" a bit, add some mocha. WARNING: The coffee is smooth and flavorful and will ruin you for all other coffee. For an added treat, try the Cuban bread with guava. My mouth drools just thinking about it. If you want to make your visit extra-special, walk just around the building and sit on the marina with your feet over the water. It's a piece of paradise tucked in a place that is already paradise. read more

Considering that Key West is only 90 miles away from Cuba, I gotta believe that Cuban Coffee Queen would be selling authentic Cuban coffees and food. Parking: Thank God there is a city parking lot here. Too bad this tiny food & coffee stand does NOT have tables to sit and you'll have to sit on benches to enjoy your food. On the other hand, I actually bought a bag of coffee bean for $14 right before I left. *** Cafe con Leche (a Cuban espresso served with steamed milk - no sugar, hot - 12 oz for $2.25 tax included): Great aroma and not overly bitter (even without any sugar). A very solid coffee drink. (4/5) Havana Rice and Bean (Rice and black beans with choice of homemade, fresh roasted Mojo pork, Havana beef, or 2 fried eggs - pork, $7.50 tax included): Mojo pork was roasted almost to the point of melt-in-your-mouth. You need to stop here and get coffee! It's one of the best coffees I had in my life. I got and iced coffee (cafe con leche) and it was AMAZING! Ñooooooó que Rico. Being raised as a proud Cuban and Coming from CA Bay Area with no Cuban delights this place really knocked my socks off. Would love to replicate this back home. The coffee was delightful. They had a bunch of different justice smoothie options and the sandwiches were great. I had an amazing sandwich with chess/egg and chorizo which still makes my mouth water. The bread though, is not 100% real Cuban bread it's a hybrid sour dough. Still great for Dunkin in my cafe con leche. read more

There are two locations. One near Mallory square and one near the pier. The one near pier is the original with the ambience. The Mallory square one is the more traditional store front. Delicious coffee and breakfast Cubans. Be prepared to wait a bit for your order especially at the pier. Yummy! read more

We visited this location twice during our two days in Key West and it was the the BEST. The Tumeric Con Leche is so DELICIOUS and I got that both times. Why 5 stars? Because the selection of coffee and treats was amazing. --- --- --- Since I've converted to a lifestyle of intermittent fasting, my breakfast consists of water and black coffee. It's led to tons of weight loss and makes me feel a lot better in the process, but the drawback is that places like Cuban Coffee Queen aren't able to be enjoyed as much as they would have been pre-IF. I'll admit, I did have to indulge a few bites of the Cuban bread with guava, because that is something that can never be resisted. As for the coffee, I went with the Colada without the cane sugar, which seems like a pretty standard double shot of espresso, and it tasted pretty similar to your standard espresso, which is a good thing! Our hotel was not far from here, so we definitely would have visited again if we would have had more time in Key West. I wish we'd had an opportunity to go back during lunch for some of the appetizing Cuban food in the menu, but that will have to wait until next time. By the way, if you're not familiar with Cuban Coffee Queen, it's essentially a food truck, so don't come expecting a shop! read more

I told ya, I'd be back! My dolphin sunset cruise was called on a count of rain. What's a vacationer to do caught in a light drizzle? I chose to grab a sammy and head back to the hotel for some proper sleep. The Tumeric Con Leche - turmeric, cardamom , ginger, vanilla and almond milk with a shot of Cuban coffee did not disappoint! YUM you can have it iced or hot. I chose iced, to sip in the light rain and humid overcast early evening as I waited for my Lyft. My second and probably the best choice of the week so far: the Cuban Queen mix sammich - Fresh roasted mojo pork, ham, Swiss cheese, sliced pickles, -mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and onions on pressed Cuban bread. You can have mojo chicken or roasted Turkey breast on this Cuban panini. It's served with a bag of plantain chips. I went with the traditional minus the mayo. The only thing I'd add is extra pickles, cuz I love pickles and maybe some banana peppers. This huge sammy can easily feed two or make a great breakfast for me in da morning! Tender, flavorful mojo pork is my new best friend! read more

We were in key west for two days and we managed to come here three times. Once for an iced cafe con leche (slightly sweetened w/ frozen coffee for ice cubes), once for hot cafe con leche, and once more for the Cuban sandwich and pork with beans and rice. We're located conveniently near the historic Key West Seaport. We love doing business out of our little coffee shop. We're so honored to have become the place where locals and visitors alike make sure to stop. We also just opened a new location just off Duval street in the courtyard of Duval and Southard street, at 5 Key Lime square. I decided on this smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was probably the best I've ever eaten in my life in any country. It was literally that outstanding!! The food comes out relatively fast although they're insanely busy and it's efficient.. It's not a place you lounge around with a lot of people - eat and get out, because there is a line waiting to be seated no matter what day what time. These servers really hustle too. This place is also known for its coffee which they have a lot of different varieties iced and hot and it's absolutely top-notch, pair that with some fresh baked goods and you've got yourself one hell of a start to your day. I've always loved Evelyn's for breakfast or Sarabeth's, but this place blew it away in my opinion and I've been coming here for 15 years for work. I ordered the Caliente Cuban Mix with ham and pork, and it hit all the right notes, flavorful, high-quality, and a great value. I also tried the Mango Iced Tea, which was such a fun twist. They use frozen mango chunks as ice cubes, which added both flavor and flair. I ended up going back to try their Cuban Vanilla Coffee, and it was just as good. After placing a delivery order online, I received a phone call informing me that they don't offer delivery after 3:00 p.m. and I should pick up my order instead. Firstly, there was no indication during the online ordering process that deliveries weren't available after 3:00 p.m. When I requested the girl to cancel the order and refund my credit card, she responded that she didn't know how to do it. Subsequently, I asked to speak with the manager, but there was no manager available. Despite calling back the same day, the day after, and even a week later, I have yet to receive my refund. I absolutely loved the Cuban coffee at this spot! The food and drinks they offer are incredibly delicious. Admittedly, it's a bit on the pricey side, but when you're in Key West, it's totally worth it. I could happily eat here every day, and the fact that they have two locations is a big plus. The only drawback for me was all the roosters running around while I was eating, but that's a minor inconvenience. This is a very very good place! I went to the one by the ocean, the reason(s) this place is so good is the coffee and the sandwiches I had a cafe con leche and some and a Cuban mix sandwiches. The cafe con leche was very good because the coffee is strong and the cream is perfect it was sweetened just right. The Cuban mix sandwich was very good it had turkey and ham and was the best. the ambiance reminded me of a nice local bodega, i went to the one by the schooners warf. This is an awesome little shack to eat at while you are in Key West. It is right by the docks in the water so you can grab your sandwich and coffee and eat it right next to the water or right on the benches outside the shack (they do not have bathrooms or indoor seating). Four of us split the pancake board and each ordered a breakfast entree and quickly realized our eyes were way too big for our stomachs. All of the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. This location quickly became a staple in our rotation for brunch. The coffee was amazing and strong. They had dairy alternative milks and several housemaid syrups which I am always a sucker for. I highly recommend going at least once.. But if you visit once, you will want to go again. The staff was amazing and the floor and wall art was fun to just take in while you waited for your order.

We ordered the Shrimp & Grits (with the pico on the side), Eggs Benedict, and a side of bacon. I thoroughly enjoyed my Shrimp & Grits and even added crumbled bacon, which made the dish even better! My husband said his Eggs Benedict was excellent as well. To drink, I had the Caramel Latte, which was absolutely delicious. I prefer flavored coffee drinks, so it was the perfect choice for me. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Great food, great service, and a wonderful overall dining experience. We will definitely be back!
