Amazing!!! Don't get discouraged if there's a line it is well worth the wait. The iced cafe con leche is delicious - personally liked it better then the cold brew. I added caramel and it was perfect. Love that they use coffee ice cubes so it never gets watered down (important in the heat!). I got the cuban mix sandwich and an iced coffee. I walked out of my way to check this place out and it wasn't really anything special. There was a constant flow of people though, but that may have had more to do with the fact that there is a trolly stop right next to this coffee hut. And it is more of a hut than anything else. There are 2 or 3 benches in the shade next to it, so if you're looking for a place to sit, it's hit or miss here. The sandwich did fill me up for pretty much the whole day though, so that's a major plus. I tried my bf's sandwich and it had horse radish on it and that really enhanced the flavor of the pork - if I go back, I'll definitely either ask for that sauce on my sandwich or order something that it already comes on. I had the cuban sandwhich, a cup of coffee and a bag of plantain chips. The sandwich had a wonderful texture (mouth feel) but it was absolutely flavorless. The pulled pork and other ingredients need to be seasoned. I did not like the cuban coffee upon first tasting it, but as I continued to drink it the flavor grew on me. I did finish it. My wife had an egg and cheese sandwich and complained that the sandwich had no cheese on it. She was thoroughly dissappointed. read more

A cute little joint to get some food either to go or to enjoy while sitting out. Reasonably priced and a must go local place. As the name suggests, known for its Cuban specialities. My boyfriend got the sunrise special - which is half Cuban sandwich (he got with chorizo) and coffee con leche. He loved the coffee and loved the chorizo in the sandwich. Give it a try! This place is like a magical mirage except it's really there and it's amazing! We went every morning after waking with our vacation housemates. Walked a few blocks and got the most amazing healthy smoothies(you can add all kinds of things) and the absolutely dreamy turmeric con leche. It's magic in a cup and def add two shots of espresso. Had me powered up and ready to take on the day. Craved it every morning. Beautiful covered out door space with tables. An entire shop selling Cuban coffee and other goodies. After using them all I ordered more. Not only did they send me a free sample, free sticker, and some lollipops along with my beans...they sent a HANDWRITTEN THANK YOU NOTE. I stopped here because it was on my way to the ferry terminal and it opens early. I was super excited to find out their iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes! So as the ice melts, it doesn't dilute the delicious coffee. They basically automatically assume you want sugar and cream in your coffee, so just know that in advance. This place gets busier later in the morning, but it's worth the wait. I definitely came back the next morning for more iced coffee :) read more
