    empanada

my experience here has always been great so far! the prices are great and they stuff the lunch orders with so much food for $5 or $6. huge chicken legs, rice, beans & tasty plantains making a great meal! The food is very good and satisfying as well. Especially the empanadas! i absolutely love their empanadas. after getting one, i came back the next day to buy 6 and i wanted even more! everyone i've brought here has also loved the empanadas service is nice as well and theres seating in the food court to eat your food there if you want. usually quiet nearby when I've gone.

1st time ever trying this! I prefers banana king and I see why. The order was very simple. 2 Cubans with bacon. Of course we were charged for bacon that is on the receipt yet not on either sandwich. The pork is dry and poorly cut. There is more mustard than cheese. In all my years eating a Cuban sandwich it's never been dry or covered in mustard until now. Do you not do lettuce and tomato? I assume the mystery sauce I got was suppose to assist with the dryness. This experience was horrible and it is extremely important for your staff to actually pay attention to what is order. My lunch was bad which lead to this review!

Receipt. Paid for plantains but didn't get any.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Filling, solid fast Korean food ++++ Beef K-BBQ Box and LA Galbi Box both came with a small portion of glass noodles, salad, egg and meets (beef / galbi) on top of rice and they were pretty good. The beef and galbi were flavorful, glass noodles were tasty and the portion of food was fair for the prices. K-BBQ Box was a bit cheaper at $10.99, while the LA Galbi was $14.99. + Menu is relatively simple as they serve either box entrees or tofu soups. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Not much as this vendor's menu is simple and straightforward. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Unfortunately, not many customers at Paramus Park's food court visit this vendor as most flock to Chick-Fil A, but KBBQ Box is definitely worth a try if you're bored of the other options.

While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all.

Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! In any case --- it's a decent visit in the "land of malls".

My personal favorites here are Eemas Cuisine and Cafe Anello / Sogno Coffee. This is a great alternative to a cramped cafe if you need to get work done. There's large table spaces, good internet connection and a cafe. I've been using this space as a work space since opening and everyone is super friendly. If you're shopping, the Jersey City oddities market has a pop up boutique here with a bunch of really curious items, as well as Spura Home, and For Ari For You Jewelry. Definitely worth checking out or hosting a meet up here!

They have a handful of pop up food vendors, makers, and art...yes, art work from the Jersey City Arts Council. They have a bunch of tables and FREE WIFI! If you work from home or have a mobile office, come and check this place out. You can eat, work, shop, and eat some more. The best part is that its not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the mall. It's separate from the food court and honestly with better food and service. These vendors don't have actual restaurants and this is their chance to show off what makes them special which usually means prime customer service and high quality food. This is a great spot for meet ups, first dates, play dates, and everything in between. I've been here a few times since they opened in April. I think I've tried everything so far: Hawaiian, Filipino, Japanese, Italian, Jamaican, and THEE MOST AMAZING BROWNIES that I've ever had. The Hawaiian & Filipino and Japanese vendors offer vegetarian and vegan options...another point! I've attached some pictures for you drooling pleasure. They are open Thursday - Saturday from 12PM to 8PM. Unfortunately, this is a pop up market, which means they won't be here forever. In fact, this market is only here until June 30th. So try and make it over - IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT! Location: On the bottom floor next to Tiffany & Co and Gucci by the Garage B valet entrance and the concierge desk.

We tried one of the hot food vendors once and ate there. The stand with the ducks and other meat hanging in the display case. I thought the meat was going to be hot, but it was basically room temp. Not sure if you're supposed to take it home and heat it up from this vendor or if they will warm it up for you on request.
