Cubesmart, Deerfield Beach, Fl. Stephanie the manager let workmen into my storage unit without my permission when the door was being installed. When I was given a new key on Easter Monday afternoon I went into my unit. I noticed my professional butcher block table was missing. I called the police to report it. It seems that no one was given me any answers. The next day I received a call from the manager Stephanie in a irate manner claiming she had a video of me stealing my butcher block table out of my unit. I then called for the police to come. I went right down to the office, Stephanie the manager refused to show the video she claimed she had. I had been advised by the police officer to check the unit again and wait to see a video taken by the company installing the doors, which was never shown. She had a picture of me moving a white massage table when I went back to look again to see if the workmen moved it to the back, she acused me of stealing from myself trying to deter the fact her workmen touch and went through my belongings on her watch. I went into my unit with Stephanie the manager and one of the workmen. They were speaking Spanish and I ask Stephanie to translate and she went off near the unit calling me a racist with many ppl going in and out of their units, she was actually trying to start a race war outside and take the attention off of her mistake of manageing . She said she was Spanish too was I going to be racist towards her. All I asked was to translate, she knew what she was doing. All my boxes were in disarray so I continued to move some more boxes and my butcher block table was almost to the back of my unit. Again, Stephanie is being held accountable for anything missing, she should be let go. I closed my unit up and went and spoke to a police officer, I explained my side of the story, the female police officer noticed how upset I was, she calm me down and told me most likely being called a racist by the manager was a tactic so the attention was taken off of the failed management on Stephanie's end, she said they are all in their 20's and with immaturity. I contacted Cubesmart with no response. Stephanie the manager raised my unit rent without giving a legal 30 day notice to be spiteful. I am seeking legal counsel and will take this to the fullest. read more

After using Cube Smart in South Florida is the worst i have ever seen . After 4 years of using them , my cc was compromized. I could pay the for 4 days . They charged me $95 dollar late fee . I went and removed my boat and trailer. The charge me credit card Nov 2, 2023 for the whole carge , today is April 19 , 2024. Very unfortunate experience with this company. Beware of renting an outdoor non-temperature controlled unit. Although they will guarantee you that you will not have water damage or any other damage to your belongings while in those units, this is not true. Even though it was guaranteed to me that the doors are sealed and water will not seep in. However the water got in, it did. Maybe there was roof damage, it is likely that isn't covered either. My belongings have water damage and were also covered by (salmonella carrying) iguana feces due to the fact that they are running rampant all over the parking lot and outdoor units. Upon making a claim, water damages due to rainwater coming in under the door and iguana rodent or other vermin feces are conveniently not covered. So they guaranteed water wouldn't seep in but if it does, it's not covered. They are OK with damaging all of your belongings with water and contaminating them with potential diseases due to animal feces. read more

This is a review for a super short term storage space rental, 2 months. We had to move all the crap out of our condo to stage it to be sold. We had a very pleasant experience with the more modern, fancy storage folks next door, but they were so pricey for the only 15'x15' units they had at the time......... we decided to try Cube Smart, they were more than half the price for an outdoor non-air conditioned unit for the first month. We figured it would be short termed so we didn't sweat it, no pun intended. 5 stars for customer service, Frank: I always barrage folks with questions, sometimes they crack, not Frank. He even made me laugh, he was so pleasant. We once had issue with the door being stuck and he didn't stop until he fixed it and our stuff was secure. At the end he swept our unit for us when we moved out, I even went back and checked to make sure; the contract terms were satisfied and I wasn't charged anything extra. 4 stars for the space......it was out doors, it was very clean, we experienced no bugs or critters, but the price doubled after the first month. Frank did explain almost all storage places have crazy after-introductory-first-month jacked up pricing because it depends on supply and demand for particular spaces, sizes and location of the space on the property. Capitalism. 3 stars for the property layout.....less than ideal and tight narrow thru ways where people have parked boats and random delivery trucks here and there. Depending on where you are on the property, there may be no easy way out. It also looks like some residents conduct business out of their units, so of course they are all in the way. For the price, you are definitely not getting state of the art or high tech or anything but for the convenience to highways 595/95/turnpike, the general cleanliness and the customer service I give it 4.5 stars. Worst place ever, I was with them for 6-8months they would charge me more then what we agreed. I also called them 2 weeks before cancelling to make sure they wouldn't charge me and they did anyways. Then I asked for a refund and i still havent got it till this day, it's been 2 weeks going on 3. I wouldn't store anything here unless you dont mind getting over charged or charged even when you have cancelled your service. Good luck trying to get your money back. District manger has yet to call me about my money. Just terrible!! read more

WARNING- DO NOT RENT AT CUBESMART - CubeSmart/Christopher P Parr's -OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE policy of preventing law enforcement from gathering evidence and doing their job requiring law enforcement to provide a supeana to view and gather evidence causing further delay of action, delay of victims recovering their property, putting all tennats in harm and danger and possibility of additional theft onsite. CRIMINAL ACTIVITY - 7 units got broken into, 2 were mine. Took 3 days for district manager to return my call only to find out Cubesmart has a policy where they do not share the camera recordings with law enforcment without a supeana, very rare and illogical. Now, I am waiting for this to happen. Cubesmart is preventing and delaying an investigation to help their own customers yet they claim they are doing everything possible to help. Facility knew about and admitted even cameras were of poor quality as well yet their CEO Christopher P Mar who makes 180m a year is buying up properties all over. Worst of the worst in customer service, I've been a customer for 10 years, 3 units spending tens of thousands of dollars and these dirtbags do this, even the Police can't believe their actions. Go anyplace else but Cubesmart for your storage needs. If you would like to speak to the district manger who thinks this is funny his name is Thomas 786-566-7047 UPDATE Awaiting judges signature on supeana so Cubesmart will allow detective to do their job. 10k in stolen items and who nows how much more was stolen from the other 5 victims. A manager lives onsite and imagine if her apartment got broken into, she would not be allowed to show the police any videos. In the process of takeing further actions, a local and social media campaign to warn the public of my experience and the other 5 victims. read more

They are terrible to work with!!! I was loyally paying for 14 months. Something came up with my credit card and the charged me late fees twice. When I explained that I was ok paying the first late fee the lady talked back and told me I was wrong and they had notified me. They had not notified me and I was unaware that they did not have my updated credit card information. They continued to talk back to me telling me I was in the wrong multiple times and i must pay the late fees. I am pulling my stuff out of the storage unit. The facility is clean but I would not recommended it to anyone. read more

The CubeSmart storage on Davis Blvd in Keller won my business because of one person, Barbara. Over the years, she personally would call to make sure I made my payment on time so I wouldn't be charged a late fee. She even went to her boss to get me a preferred rate since I had been a customer for many years. I've since moved away but Barbara is still worthy of acknowledgement. Thanks Barbara! read more
