They also scratched my floor and never mentioned it, which I only discovered after they left and had to report myself -- something that could have impacted the sale of my property. While they did repair the floor, that doesn't excuse the lack of honesty and care. To make matters worse, they hid behind their contract and offered a $25 payout for a TV that cost well over $100, instead of taking real responsibility. After my last message raising additional concerns, they've now stopped responding completely. Careless, dishonest, and no accountability. I would not trust this company in my home.

Some items got brought to her that are not hers. So someone somewhere is missing items. This has not been a good experience at all. Come on people. Just simply do your jobs. Geesh! UPDATE 12/10/2021 Even though I am still very displeased with the length of time it took, I will say, one of the owners, Diego, reached out personally and did everything in his powers to rectify this terrible situation. When I received my items, they smelled musty. And there is no communication unless you call them. My stuff was picked up April 21st and not delivered until May 29th. One more day and they would have had to pay me $30/day for being late according to the contract. One of my cabinets arrived with tiny holes in the doors, the shelves falling out and the back pieces off. The drawer was off its rails, and it is not usable. I'm sure any claim will take longer than it did to receive my items. They tell you what you want to hear but then they do not follow up. DO NOT BOTHER TO USE THEM! I do not know why Safe Ship bothers to use them.

Moving across the county is the middle of a global pandemic isn't fun. Moving across the country and not have clothes or furniture for 70 days is unacceptable. I was told on my first phone call that the company doesn't outsource. It's all family owned. I'm sure if you call, you'll be told the same thing. They also won't tel you that they have a 30 day spread to deliver your stuff. They won't tell you that until your stuff is already loaded on the truck and ready to go. Let me tell you. It took them 40 days over the 30. It took 70 days. Which is ridiculous. I would call for an update and no one any answers. Ever. I swear it's the worst customer service I've ever encountered and I spent three hours on the phone with AT&T one time. Once I finally got my stuff, most of my furniture was damaged in some way. All of my boxes were dented. Don't waste your time writing fragile on your boxes. All of your plates are going to be broken anyway. I hope that they can sleep at night knowing they're liars and frauds. The company that they subcontracted to was S&M Relo. I had to have a lawyer contact them to get my stuff delivered. Then, my stuff was contracted out again to Coast to Coast. So, just go with coast to coast to being with and save yourself the trouble.

I called the sales representative about it, he continued to promised they would be delivered. The next day he stopped answering his phone. Mover called the day prior to the move to say that they would only accept cash, money order, or Venmo. This was not specified in the binding estimate. I called the sales representative to inquire about this change. He did not answer. Upon arrival, mover glanced at the furniture and boxes and attempted to extort $3000 above the balance due to move the items listed in the inventory. Because I was in a fairly desperate situation - I had to be out of my apartment, everything was packed up, etc. I offered to leave behind an old sofa and bed frame, even though they were included in the binding estimate. He said maybe that would bring it down to $2000 above the balance due. I recognized this as attempted extortion and called the police. The mover left before the police arrived. I called the company and asked whether they could send another mover and/or arrange for the mover to complete the move according to the terms of the binding estimate for which I paid the (hefty) deposit. The customer service representative said that there was nothing else they could do for me since I had notified her of my intention to contest the charge for the credit card and since the mover had left. I am currently disputing the charge for the deposit with the credit card company.

And was very patient with me and all my changes!!! Out of all the movers I called for quotes, he was the only one that followed up with me. I will definitely call him for my next move! Then comes time for the movers to load us up from Margate, FL to NC. They were beyond professional, sweet, careful, and so kind to us. Asked questions along the way. Moved our personal belongings with such care. These two young men pictured with my mom were simply amazing!!!! Now for the unload in NC. The driver kept in touch with us from the time he loaded the truck up until delivery day.... keeping us updated on time line. We had two stops, and he handled everything perfectly. Even told my mom, relax I will put the bed together! We had a storage unit and I was afraid everything wouldn't fit, well he told me not to worry he's got it. And he did!
