So we were in a middle of a last minute move. I went here in person to go get us some storage but there were red flags from the very beginning. I purchased 2 locks and the guy just hands them to me, I didn't even see him open it, so how would I know if he made copies of these keys, then we ended up not using them, this guy basically tells me that they just want to make sure that it wasn't moved in then I'll get my refund. He send me an email with what I paid and that's it, I'm sure he pocketed my refund. I wouldn't trust these morons for anything, this was back in September it is now December and I have not heard back from this location nor the one in Citrus Heights, yes we rented 2 units that was never used and was cancelled within 48hrs of us signing, so at this point time to let everyone know, anyone that would listen even filling a BBB Complaint. Let's see now that I'm settled in, I'm going to have a lot of free time! 1 Star for 2026 and Citrus Heights is also going to get one (1 star Review) as well! read more

there is only one employee that does his job. It's the gentleman that lives on site. All the other employees totally suck just called them. They answered the said hi. How may I help you as I was saying hello and started stating the reason for my phone call she decided to hang up on me and then every other time that I have been trying to call them back literally not even entire second later they sent me to voicemail pretending like they are not in the office so I would definitely not recommend this trash place to anybody if you worth that's not where you do it because the employees will pretend like they're not in the office and send to voicemail or business will just go and I have personally watched her drive off the premises of the storage area and then when you come in and actually have a person to talk to they will pretend like they were helping someone else when 75% of the time that is bullshit read more

I've had this unit less than a year, went to grab items and noticed rat feces. Call office and spoke to a lady she said they are trying to get ahold of the problem and have extra bait stations out. They should have alerted tenants about this pest problem. Now I am left with a unit covered in destroyed items covered rat feces and urine. Go rent somewhere else! read more

I have never in my life had so many issues... stay far away from this location....!! Let me explain in-depth why. 1. They proceeded to change all the doors and cut our locks without informing us prior. I am a Wildland Fire Capt and had to leave for an assignment. We stopped by the unit on Sunday before my flight Monday, to find out out lock was cut and the doors were changed. AND WE WERE NOT INFORMED!!! Needless to say, I went to a fire assignment without any of my gear because of their error!!! Absolutely unacceptable. We contacted customer support, and of course because it was Sunday. No one could help. If they would have given us notice, we would have acquired the equipment prior. 2. I applied my renters insurance and they have still continued to charge me $12 a billing period. Even though I have contacted them multiple times. 3. They double charged my first month. When we addressed it, they then stated we must print the billing and bring it to them... why on earth cannot I not screen shot my statement and email it to you like a normal person. This has STILL NOT BE RESOLVED, now 2 months later. UNACCEPTABLE. Public Storage is a far better service and company. Stay far away!!! read more

When I signed up there was a deal stated to get the first month for $0 and full price every month thereafter, or a discounted rate for every month. Come to find out that after 6 months they jack your rate up. It was explained to me as a way to be "competitive" with other storage places in the area. Being competitive to them is charging more money; a very different definition of competitive. Don't fall for them saying your rate won't increase when you sign up. read more

Not good! I paid almost $300 a month and when I went to get my belongings, they were WET and SOAKED from the rain. This place does NOT take care of their units. Does NOT weather proof them. DO NOT put anything that can ruined in the rain. read more

I have had two storage units at this Roseville location for approximately 6 months. The facility is conveniently located right off the freeway. It is kept clean and maintained. But best of all is the employees who work there. Bottom line: They are awesome! The manager, Jason, assisted me on securing my storage units and using their moving truck. He is incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Something you don't always see nowadays. So it was a real nice to experience such courteous and efficient services. All the other employees I have dealt with there provided the same level of great service. Hats-off to this CubeSmart for giving such good service. I highly recommend this Roseville location. Even if there is a storage facility closer or more convenient, use these guys. You will be happy you did! read more

I've had my share of storage units over he years so I have a baseline to go by. I like the fact I could reserve a unit for almost two weeks out. This a rare feature and they must be recognized for this. The staff was professional and courteous at sign up and storage unit was clean and ready to be rented it. I highly recommend Cube smart. I rented a unit for one month while moving, and was completely satisfied with this rental. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the price was tough to beat. The location is quite convenient (really close to I-80 and Cirby Way) and seems quite safe (no issues with leaks from rain nor pests). I will recommend this location to anyone who needs a storage unit. read more

The employees here are all very nice and were willing to help in anyway that was needed. They even went above and beyond their typical job to help me locate another unit on the property when I realized I would need a second unit. They called people that had reservations that had not yet shown up to see if they were still in need of the unit, and found one that no longer needed to unit therefore they cancelled their reservation and I was able to rent the unit. I would recommend this location and company to anyone that is needing a storage unit. Thank you all for such a great experience. read more

Reserved a unit yesterday, they called me today, told me about needing insurance. No problem my home owners will cover, I called them and confirmed, insurance is fine. I get to cubesmart, go into a dirty unit and I get apologies but they won't have tune to sweep it today. Ok, fine. Joey second guesses me to go on and ask, are you sure you want it. Ya, I need to start moving stuff today. But I answer nicely, yes. We get to office and he informs me that they need a copy of my insurance. Would have been nice to know before hand but ok, I go home and retrieve the paper work and here I stand in office, no place to sit. I'm disabled. He's on the phone to another person. Im tired and hurting. Trying to be nice as perhaps it's partly my pain upsetting me. He doesn't know how to put information in computer, asking Daniel. Doesn't know how to copy nu insurance on copier. I will update as I see if this gets better. Maybe Joey is just really really new? read more

They stole $66. I rented a unit here for two years and always paid on time. It came time for me to leave. They would not prorate the 1 week of the month I was there because of "Policy". There are 2 other storage places very close by. I would suggest going there instead. read more

Very friendly,professional staff. The staff goes above and beyond to help evaluate your needs, and suggest the proper size storage unit. Have used this storage in the past. The facility is clean, well maintained,secure, and priced right. The staff is awesome and helpful. The truck they loan you for move in is a plus.
