Crooks! I can not believe that after a few months they would suddenly raise the storage unit cost from $57.00 to $87.00 without any warning! This is highly deceptive! It obviously takes time and money to move things in and out of a storage unit. For them to raise it such a crazy amount is absolutely absurd! It's predatory to be honest and is not a good business practice. Apparently, they change prices suddenly based on "market price." Please read other complaints before choosing this place. I wish I did. I never thought they would do something so unethical. Raising it suddenly to this degree shouldn't be allowed. I can imagine 10% higher annually, but 50% in a few months is just wrong. Spent a little over a year at this unit. Prior to Tanya being manager I would've given this review 3 stars but she turned that around. The storage lock would not close. I would spend a good 15-20 minutes trying to lock my storage every time I'd leave. I let the previous manager know about this issue but he only sprayed WD40 on it and called it a day. Today I was having the same problem except this time it wasn't closing. I called and Tanya took care of it right away. I'm glad she's the new manager and can tell she gets things done. I have been a faithful storage resident at this facility since 2018, I've moved around from various size units over the years to accommodate my extra space needs and I've never had any issues. I've had big drive up units and nice hallway units decent sized even my small one when I first started was perfect for me. This location is safely secured and they will pull up and check out any vehicle that makes it past the gate without putting their authorization code in. Makes me feel as if they are on top of it and my belongings are safe here. Even during the weather changes , I've never had to make a claim or have had any damage. I feel as if some of the bad reviews on here are 1. Outdated 2. Silly because just like any "garage" safely secure your belongings , package them correctly, take pictures& pay your renters insurance and you won't have no issues. And the complaint on the rent ranges ... I mean that's any business market these days, they don't make the rules or the rates and they try their hardest not to pass along the increases as much as they can, even calling and texting to give me curtesy calls and reminders. Over the years I've had the pleasure of meeting both of the Eric's at the property and they have been nothing less of AMAZING. After 6 years I'm sad to put my notice in, but only because I am moving across town and YES most definitely moving to another Extra Space thanks to them, hopefully this next location meets the same standard because you guys set the bar high. Pictures are worth a thousand words right!! Check mine out. Although the price is right unfortunately this place has the leakiest roof. And it will never get fixed. I've submitted 2 claims now for wet boxes, mold, workout equipment rusted, etc and every time I visit after it rains my stuff is still soaking wet. They suggested putting a plastic tarp over everything. Really??? How about you take my money and fix the roof! The storage unit refers you to insurance but it's a 6 month process to get reimbursed. I'm moving my stuff to another unit as soon as I have some time off! Consider yourself warned. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A PLACE! I should've listened to the reviews to begin with. We got this storage space beginning of May. It was $90 but we asked to upgrade to a bigger storage due to our stuff not all being able to fit so they said "yes for $1 more!" So you think wow what a deal right ? NO!!!! They're liars. The next month comes and we get billed $130... well whatever we needed a storage so we decided to just let it go. This month we get a letter in the mail that our storage price is being raised to $200!!! Raised by $70 more! RIDICULOUS. They wrote that they're just going by the rates on all storage spaces but that is the biggest lie ever because by the rest of the reviews I read, they're known for this. A bunch of little scammers that will steal your money and make up a stupid excuse as to why they're raising it when in reality, nothing is true that is said. I warn anyone who wants to come here. DO NOT unless you wanna get scammed. They'll first make it seem like they are giving you such a good deal just to lure you in and then slowly through the months they'll raise the price read more

I've rented twice from this location and have been satisfied both times. My first stay was about 6 months, my second was a year and some change. There is always someone to talk to at the office, friendly staff and grounds were always kept clean. They do increase your rent gradually the longer you stay. Mine went up about $8 within a year and a half. Overall, good experience, no damage, no problems. read more

Just got off the phone with you guys. Paid my invoice. Was taken off auto pay when I respectfully called to give a 30 days notice was told I didn't need to do so. Well I guess during that phone call YOU elected to take me off auto pay and didn't inform me you were doing so. Thanks for wasting my time and money. I had to find a truck and helper that I paid to be denied because someone there took it upon themselves to remove me from Payment without me telling you to do so or informing me that it was done. I posted a review a few months ago. This was an extremely easy sign up and move in process. The manager is great, always calls back. BUT I would caution newcomers to pay attention to price. I rented my unit for 109.20 including insurance. On my 3rd mo I received a letter stating my rent would be increased to 152.69. I called apparently Extra space raises the rent on units with "internet deals" They kind of have you by th3 short hairs. I just mov3d in, I'm moving to another Co. This felt shady to me. read more

My husband and I had a unit here and for about 6 months We stored a lot of household items, couches , coffee table, desk, and almost all of our sons baby items, crib, bedding, clothes, ect. When it came time for us to move we went to get all of our stuff out of storage. EVERYTHING was COVERED in RAT DROPPING! and chewed up! This place is awesome...I've used this storage for about 4 months and I'm amazed at how clean and we'll kept it is . normally I'm running around and have alot on my mind. As a result I forgot some items outside my space.... I remembered once I got home.... I got on the phone and called the the storage .. Eric picked up and took time out of his schedule to go get my stuff and keep it until I had a chance to go back...b4 this I never had a chance too meet him but I always see him running around really busy helping clients. The office staff was friendly when I handed over my $100 to start using their facility and that's where it stops. I lost me keys and was expecting a moving van on a Sunday so I called the emergency line and was told that there was nothing they could do and I should call a locksmith I asked is there one you can recommend I was told no and there was nothing else they could do. I called a locksmith he was in and out in less than 10 minutes and charged me $100. The following Monday I called the office staff and discussed with them my aggravation. Not only was The emergency operator inapt. I found out the manager of the facility lives on site and was there in the living quarters but not allowed to assist adding Insult to injury. If you can, avoid this place. It's far off the beaten path too. I will need to do follow-up checks due to reports of rodents. read more

They were the best priced after I shopped around, also having many convenient nationwide locations helped me when it came time to sign my contract and reserve my unit because any location can handle the paperwork for you. They were very on top of things when I used the unit for the first time they went and checked after I left and noticed I had not locked my unit properly and called me right away to let me know so I could come back and secure it before I left town, I also really appreciated them working with me on how long it took me to come in and sign paper work, they were very accommodating and understanding, as we all know that a move can cause all kinds of things in life to be in upheaval. Only negative keeping them from a 5 star is they really hound you for the review, I understand from a business owner perspective but just a word of advice give them a review right away :) read more

02/07/2016 I had my unit available the same day I put a hold on it. The follow up call occurred within a minute of my online reservation. When I completed my contract, the representative brought me to my unit and I was able to place my lock on it the same day. I definitely like having a credit card on file. This allows for automatic billing so it is one less thing I have to think about. I started moving items into my storage a few days ago without any problems. The only possible foreseeable problem will be when I move my larger furniture in this unit. The entrance is a normal size door and I will have to manipulate my furniture at odd angles to get it in this storage unit. Updates to this review will follow as time continues. read more

These people may be nice to get you to sign up, but are incompetent when it comes to canceling your payment once you leave. I called back in July to let the guy know I will be moving my stuff out and he told me over he phone he made the note and just had to take the lock off, and the account will be closed come 7/23/15. Well, Come August 1st I get $80 withdrawn from my account. Wtf!!! I spoke to the manager there. He said he would credit that and make sure the account gets closed. Then BIG SURPRISE!!! September 1st comes and another $80 withdrawn. Are u serious?!!! My advice to you is if they require a card info on file........DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to close my account and dispute these charges because these idiots don't know how to do their job!!!!! read more
