First time trying Fred's Red Tacos and I can absolutely say I will be back again and again! Delicious, definitely comparable to our families our recipe. Flavorful! Seasoned to perfection I love that 2 salsa options are available but honestly i didn't need it since it was so flavorful! Super Fresh and the gentleman with a mustache that handed over the food was so sweet! Thank you Freds Red Tacos This new customer will be back!!

My wife and I came here because we saw they had 20% off for happy hour from 2-6. We had to order on these kiosks that were running windows xp, and not only that, but they didn't include the discount. The cashier told us to "wait 5 minutes" and try again, even though it was 4:45. Eventually, she checked us out herself, which was nice, but the whole thing took twice as long as it should have. The other restaurants in the Redlands Public Market didn't seem to be familiar with the happy hour either, so be aware of that if you come here. We both got birria tacos which were great, but a little on the cold side. Overall ok.

Happy hour confusion? This whole place advertises happy hour from 2-6pm on Monday-Thursday but none of the spots seem to know about it. My husband and I were starving and wanted Birria tacos and were told to order on the kiosk. The kiosk didn't offer the 20 percent off happy hour that the sign right above it was advertising. This was a Wednesday at 4:30pm mind you. So it was def happy hour. I kindly asked the server about it and she didn't know what I was talking about. The server behind her said that it was over at 6 and then I said it was 4:30... she then took our order at the kiosk. It was a bit of a frustrating experience because there's signs that say happy hour but people are asked to order at the kiosk and the kiosk doesn't have happy hour adjustments on it. The Birria tacos are super tasty but this confusion dampened the whole experience.

This was our first time at Redlands Public Market, and we decided to grab a small bite from Fred's Red Tacos. We ordered the street taco trio, and they only had two meat options that night: birria and carne asada. We opted for two birria tacos and one carne asada taco. Our tacos were a bit small, but that's to be expected for street tacos. The birria tacos were nice and flavorful. The carne asada was a bit tough, but the flavor was good. Their tortilla chips were especially good, and you could tell that they were made in-house.

The Birria tacos were so delicious, the consume I drank it up after and the green salsa/sauce was a perfect addition to my meal plus the Redlands Public Market has a great vibe!

Ordered the regular burrito with Carne Asada. It was actually a solid tasting burrito and the size was pretty good. The cheese and beans definitely made the burrito stand out a bit. I did get pieces of "cuero" aka fat in the carne asada. The type you can't chew and gotta take out your mouth. Overall, 3/5. In my opinion, I will say you are paying extra because of the location. A $16.00 burrito is pretty pricy for what it was. Service: I can't speak on the service much, as they had a sign telling you to "-order at the kiosk". However they were nice enough to split the burrito for me when i received it.

So first of all when we got to the counter we were waiting to give our order. After waiting a bit the lady came over and stood there without saying a word. So I asked her if we can order and she nod her head. We ordered the Grilled cheese birria, a birria wrap that looked like Taco Bell's crunch wrap, $5 fries Some Horchata. It cost $55!!!!! When we got our food I seen the fries was half empty and hard. I asked her is that all the fries we get for $5 and I showed her the picture on the menu where the they look fresh and full and she said no this is how they come. Wow!! My daughter said that The grilled cheese was ok. My birria wrap needed more flavor and was squishy and falling apart. The Horchata taste a little water down. With all the options at the market I don't think I will eat there again. The area and the atmosphere is nice because it's inside the new Redlands market area and there is some entertainment provided by the market.

Came with little to no expectations but damn that grilled cheese birria blew me away! Redlands Public Market has so many options and it's inevitable to be overwhelmed, but their grilled cheese birria is definitely a must try when you're here. Portion is pretty hefty for one person. It's filled with so much flavor and juicy birria and cheese--a flavor bomb waiting to explode, even more when you dip it into the consomé. I'm salivating just looking at these photos that I took!

While walking around in the Redlands Public Market, I was drawn to this bright and colorful light. I walked closer and saw "To Die For Fred's Red Tacos" with red and yellow neon lights. Too funny! I had to find out what's so amazing that's too die for so here I am LOL. Food and humor is the perfect combo! I believe one of the ladies behind the counter was in training. The other lady was the trainer. Both were hospitable and very helpful in answering my questions. They serve burria, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, salads, fries and more. Their most popular item is the cheesy and crispy Quesataco in birria style. I had to get one of them, but with chicken instead of beef. I also got 2 single street tacos with chicken. My order came with chips and salsa. All their food items are made to order. OMG... Quesataco was so delicious... very crispy and cheesy as advertised. Chicken was well flavored. If I knew how tasty it is, I would have gotten 2 more. Highly recommend it. "To Die For" verified! As for the chicken tacos, I can't say the same unfortunately. Chicken chunks are slightly tough. Flavor was meh... need more seasoning. I was disappointed. I may give them another try next time. Hopefully I get a better outcome. Chips and salsa were good though. Friendly staff. Quick service. Great prices. If you're craving for "To Die For" great eats, Fred's the right place for you! Come on by and support them.

This was on my go to places to visit. This was the first time going to Redlands Public Market and to especially Fred's Red Taco's. Redlands Public Market is located in Redlands and 3rd Street, next to Denny's Restaurant. Parking can be a challenge in my personal opinion, but there is plenty of parking across at the now closed Loop Theater. Once inside the Public Market they are located in the middle of the pathway. Their speciality is their Birria meat. Looking at their menu, everything looked really looked good in my opinion. I decided to order: Loaded Birria Nachos. It comes with: Fresh fried chips, peppered queso blanco sauce, beans, birria, topped with sour cream, creamy serrano sauce, onion, cilantro, fresh guacamole and pickled onions. When you arrive you have the option of ordering on the kiosk or order ahead for pickup When you place your order on the kiosk, you input your phone number so you can be notified via text your order is ready for pick up. When my order was ready, I was eager to try and it did not disappoint. The size of the Loaded Nachos was ok, but it looked deceiving in my opinion. I was very eager to try and the flavors were amazing in my opinion. I would tell that it was prepared fresh and the combination of flavors meshed very well overall in my opinion. For my drink, I decided to get a Mexican Coke. The Birria was very flavorful and the meat was tender. I thought the overall size would not fill me up, but it sure did. There is plenty of seating inside the Public Market and there is outside seating as an option. My overall experience was great and the overall size for the Loaded Nachos impressed me. In my personal opinion, I would recommend Fred Red Taco's if you have never tried Birria and if you are in the Redlands area. For my next visit, I want to try their other items on the menu.

Located inside the RPM! The aguas frescas were 10/10! Birria taste was a little off then traditional but it wasn't bad. Maybe 8/10 The fries were $17 plus tax. Service was nice and very friendly got some samples for the aguas Service: 10/10 Located inside a food hall so lots of seating , music, etc

This was our first time going to the Redlands Public Market. Parking was a little tough during a Tuesday evening, but there is a parking structure, a block away. They also have trivia night on Tuesdays if anyone is interested! We got a platter of the Original Quesatacos. I was really excited because I love birria. Overall, the food was pretty good. The food was super hot and smelled great. Overall, the quesatacos were good. The consome was a little bland, but adding my own salt and lime really brought the flavors out. We would buy this again. Overall, the market is a great place for a date night or a group outing. There's a good amount of indoor seating and there are a variety of food options.

If you're in downtown Redlands and craving some Mexican food, then you definitely have to hit up Fred's Red Tacos in the Redlands Public Market. Their prices are reasonable and the food is just absolutely delicious. I opted to get the carne asada nachos and and I made sure to also ask for some of the habanero sauce as well. The nachos themselves had an amazing flavor and spice and the portions of guacamole and carne asada were very generous. I absolutely recommend coming to check it out, and I know that I will definitely be coming back to share with my wife.

Although their prices are high, $16 for a torta, it's usually worth it, because their portions are quite generous. Earlier today, I ordered a torta to go, and I ended up extremely disappointed when I got home. It had literally half the meat, half the beans, and half the cheese that it normally does. This was the first time I'd been disappointed with their food, but I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction. I was passed to the manager who handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. I explained the issue to him, and he insisted that my torta today had the same amount of meat, beans, and cheese as always. I disagreed with him, and he responded angrily, "Everybody makes mistakes!" He raised his voice and repeated it a couple of times. It was completely bizarre that he chose to speak to me as if I was the one who'd done something wrong. It's very childish to do a subpar job and then get upset and frustrated when you're called on it. An adult apologizes and pledges to not blow it again. Anyhow, I don't tolerate disrespectful people so I'm done. I won't spend another penny there.

The portions are generous, with serve-your-own Pickled Onions, Jalapeños and Salsas on the counter. On this visit, I had the BZ Torta which is their signature Carnitas Torta cradled in their pillowy-soft Telera Bread. An incredible sandwich!
