A special thank you to Bridgette for her warm, professional, and personable communication from beginning to end. Michelin Star Chefs Phillip Tessier and Chef Rogelio Garcia delivered a true flavor explosion with a thoughtfully curated Mexican-inspired menu that brought guests closer to Chef Garcia's culinary journey. The evening was beautifully complemented by Volcan De Mi Tierra Tequila, whose blends marry traditional craftsmanship with new innovations, both Highland and Lowland agave, creating exceptional tequilas that celebrate Mexico's rich culture and history. It was truly a magical evening. A single farm table brought strangers together, united by a love of great food, conversation, and culinary adventure. The biggest takeaway is that Chef Phillip Tessier and Chef Rogelio Garcia are truly the people's chefs. They don't simply create extraordinary dishes layered with flavor--they create an atmosphere that is welcoming, approachable, and feels like gathering around a family table. Every course had purpose, telling a story that reflected the chefs' experiences and passion. This dinner beautifully showcased Chef Rogelio Garcia's journey, someone I have had the pleasure of watching grow in the culinary world for more than a decade. It has been inspiring to witness his continued success, and I look forward to seeing what Chef Phillip Tessier has in store for future dinners. What makes these chefs especially memorable is that they genuinely enjoy connecting with their guests. They share their stories, ask about yours, and make everyone feel like part of the experience. It is this combination of exceptional cuisine, heartfelt hospitality, and genuine human connection that makes Under-Study Napa such a remarkable dining destination. This is far more than a dinner--it's an unforgettable culinary experience that leaves you feeling like family. I can't wait to return." I usually prefer a lighter breakfast, and these will definitely weigh you down. If you're OK with that, then you're in for an indulgent treat. I do wish they had better options for a DIY breakfast sandwich, as "substitutions" are generally treated as additions, so you end up paying more for less. On my last visit I just got a toasted English muffin with a side of scrambled eggs, hoping to assemble a simple breakfast sandwich, only to find that the side of scrambled eggs isn't the same as the "scrambled eggs" in the sandwiches, which seem to actually be baked egg patties. The eggs I got were slightly overcooked and dry. I will say, if you're a fan of biscuits, go for the biscuit breakfast sandwich. I actually thought it was better than their English muffin!

We always make it a point to stop by when we are visiting the area…read more We have tried several of their breakfast sandwiches but on this trip we had the breakfast burrito and a toasted English muffin on the side. The burrito was well seasoned and a good filling ratio. The side of English muffin was very buttery and was delicious with their side of jam. They also have pastries and premade sandwiches available. Only complain with this visit was the time it took for us to get our food. Seemed unusually long. We had ordered at the kiosk instead of at the counter. A few seating are available inside as well as outside. No bathrooms are available for customers.
