The coffee is top notch! Very fresh with great milk alternatives (oat, almond and soy). The concha I had was enormous and sooooooo delicious. All the girls behind the counter were very kind and friendly. They had knowledge of all the offerings. I do wish they had more gluten free options but we totally understand.

That jalapeños jack croissant caught my eye. Soooo yummy.

Stopping at Bella for coffee and light breakfast bites has been a regular habit for my friends and I when spending a weekend in Calistoga. It can get pretty busy at times, but the short wait is worth it. These ladies hustle and the line moves quickly. Coffee is good like a diner unless you want something more fancy like a matcha latte. If you have a sweet tooth. Bella has so many exquisite looking sweet treats I've never tried, but they sure are pretty! I'm sure they're good based on all the delicious breakfast offerings. I always get the jalapeño cheddar croissant. It just hits the spot for my savory craving in the morning. My gf loves her almond croissant which is also very good. Looking for more protein and less carbs? The quiches are quite big and pretty good but light on the ingredients inside. Bacon quiche could have used a bit more bacon but still fulfilling. If you want a proper breakfast they have chorizo, ham or sausage burritos also. I've never had one but maybe in the future before our morning wine tastings. Nice people behind the counter and so many delicious treats for the afternoon or morning! I look forward to another Bella breakfast next time I'm in Calistoga!

Visited Bella's Bakery in Calistoga and it's such an adorable little spot in this charming small town! Started my day with their breakfast English muffin with ham and egg, and it was honestly just so good. Perfect way to kick off the morning! I also picked up one of their pre-made sandwiches for later, and it turned out to be a winner too! I think it was turkey with Brie cheese, and my partner absolutely loved it, saying it was amazing. I've heard through the grapevine that it might be one of Oprah's favorite bakeries, but can't say for sure--can anyone fact check that for us? If you find yourself in Calistoga, make sure to stop by Bella's Bakery for some tasty treats!

Coffee/bakery on the main street in downtown. We were looking for road snacks, but ordered breakfast sandwiches, coffee and a scone. Gorgeous baked goods and sandwiches. Mellow vibe. Decorated with local art. A great stop to start the day and/or snack latter. Two thumbs up from this guy!

There were so many delicious looking items to choose from. The staff were efficient and friendly. I had the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. It was nothing special. My spouse had the raspberry pastry. He loved his. I would definitely be eager to return and try something else.

I have been staying in Calistoga for the past 3 days and every morning I have taken a walk down to this Bakery for the best quick breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito, the croissant breakfast sandwich, and the English muffin (which they make fresh) breakfast sandwich. Everything thing has been so yummy and fresh. I love their cold chai as well. Such a cute place with a friendly staff.

Love Latin family owned shops like this one. Had one of the biggest conchas I have ever seen. It was delicious. Also had the matcha latte my niece had the frappe and mentioned it was not sweet at all!!! so for my coffee lover get the frap. Must check out

A wonderful place. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike. Great coffee (strong like I prefer) and an overwhelming selection of pastries and sweet or savory morning offerings. Line can get long but it moves fast; service is very good!

I usually prefer a lighter breakfast, and these will definitely weigh you down. If you're OK with that, then you're in for an indulgent treat. I do wish they had better options for a DIY breakfast sandwich, as "substitutions" are generally treated as additions, so you end up paying more for less. On my last visit I just got a toasted English muffin with a side of scrambled eggs, hoping to assemble a simple breakfast sandwich, only to find that the side of scrambled eggs isn't the same as the "scrambled eggs" in the sandwiches, which seem to actually be baked egg patties. The eggs I got were slightly overcooked and dry. I will say, if you're a fan of biscuits, go for the biscuit breakfast sandwich. I actually thought it was better than their English muffin!

The burrito was well seasoned and a good filling ratio. The side of English muffin was very buttery and was delicious with their side of jam. They also have pastries and premade sandwiches available. Only complain with this visit was the time it took for us to get our food. Seemed unusually long. We had ordered at the kiosk instead of at the counter. A few seating are available inside as well as outside. No bathrooms are available for customers.

The entire restaurant is unorganized and an unwelcoming place to visit. Not a great option for the price. Will not go back. UPDATE for Angela, To clarify: when we arrived, no one acknowledged or seated us, so we walked through the restaurant ourselves to find someone and ask where we should sit. By "nowhere to sit," I meant there was no direction or organization regarding seating. Our food was brought out on serving trays/boards, but we were not provided plates, utensils, or napkins for our family, including our children. We ended up eating with our hands because no one checked back with us aside from removing seasoning shakers from another table to place on ours. The experience felt unorganized and unwelcoming because we consistently felt overlooked throughout the visit despite being polite and patient the entire time. I understand small businesses rely on reviews, which is why I only described our experience honestly rather than exaggerating it. I have also sent you an email to shed more light on our experience during our visit.

I always pick up a tasty beverage and one of their delicious desserts. Their desserts are so good! I never leave without getting a slice of their cheesecake, and at around $5 a slice, it's an incredible deal. The spork is made out of bamboo. Yuck! They also have a great deli, salad bar, and their Mexican bread is definitely a standout. There's a nice variety of options, and I love that this store is right in the heart of Calistoga. The only downside is the parking lot is a little small -- think along the lines of a Trader Joe's parking situation -- but don't let that stop you from visiting. A great local stop for delicious treats, everyday essentials, and a little something extra!

Quail and Condor was one of our favorite spots when visiting Healdsburg for the first time…read more One of the first distinctive notes we found with Quail and Condor was that it was located in a pretty big warehouse-like structure. There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would come back!
