Hot Matcha Lavender Latte - To Go!
    Kristal H.

Such a cool place! Clean, fun and lots of food and drink options - ranging from coffee, beer, white claws, breakfast, pizza, cookies, salads and sandwiches! I got a hot matcha lavender latte and it was so good! We only stopped by to grab coffee because we already had plans to eat somewhere else. So I only got the latte. But all of the sandwiches looked so fresh and delicious, I really wanted to try the chicken caesar focaccia and was eyeing it the whole time while I was waiting for my matcha order. Next time for sure!! I'm definitely coming back!!

The aesthetics of Station are like cars land in Disneyland and I loved it. Not only can you get coffee and pastries but you can also grab a pizza or even gasoline. Unfortunately I had already eaten so I only got a latte but I will have to return to try their food. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The vibes all around were good and all the customers seem to be in good spirits. Not the best coffee I've ever had but the vibes more than made up for it. If you are driving past or staying in the area I recommend checking it out.

Such a cute stop in St Helena! The storefront has a cute retro vibe, perfect for a quick stop and photos. We came in the morning before some wine tasting and it was a mix of locals and tourists. Service was great, but a little slow. The matcha latte was okay. I like that they had milk alternatives, but it didn't stand out. Will probably try their coffee next time. The blueberry coffee cake pastry was so good! It was moist, the crumble on top was the perfect amount of crunch and sweetness, and it was enough to tide me and my husband over before brunch. I saw lots of people order other pastries and savory items, so seems like their food might be the way to go! They have lots of open seating in the back with shade as well. Lots of dogs and families with little children, so fun and casual vibe!

This is a nice spot to take a break after visiting the vineyards! The outside patio is nice and spacious. There's a cute corner that says "I love you", great as a photo op. Although the ambiance is nice, the drinks were not very good. The iced latte with whole milk was very milky and did not have much coffee in it. I feel like you could tell by the color of the latte- it's definitely more on the milkier light end.

Quick, friendly service. We got the last focaccia chicken sandwich. It was really good.

A great place to get a quick meal, snack and drink. I had the Bacon Quiche, warmed and an ice chai latte. It hit the spot. I originally was trying to order avocado toast but they were all out of avocados. The staff were friendly, the set up and decor were nice especially with it being at a gas station. The only bad part was it wasn't clean in the dine in area. Other customers left over drinks and trash were left behind and the staff didn't clean it.

Nice aesthetics, but also shortcuts taken at The Station in St. Helena, which made for a mixed experience. The Station is run by Gott's, which has been a local favorite for healthy-ish fast food with creative options. On the plus side, it's nice to see an affordable, casual option in St. Helena. Clever that it's still a working gas station. We found most salads and sandwiches at The Station are premade in the cold case, which I don't love. Our BLT however was made to order, and came on thick multigrain with tangy lemon aioli, but with a thin, single layer of (somehow lean and chewy) bacon that didn't satisfy. The grain bowl had a nice combo of garbanzo beans, sweet potatoes, eggs and pickled beets, and was also premade. A lot of nice design details about this place and use of green packaging. Kudos for the creativity and cost effectiveness, but also I was left wanting more for my sandwich experience.

Got their seasonal Autumn Harvest Focaccia, and it tasted incredibly fresh. The roasted butternut squash, sharp white cheddar cheese, peppery arugula, bright lemon aioli, and house-made cranberry-apple chutney all came together perfectly on a fragrant herb focaccia. The combination offered a balance of sweetness and freshness that didn't feel heavy. Paired with iced tea, it made for a refreshing and light, delicious lunch.

Was craving pizza and decided to give this unexpected place a try. The Oak Knoll pizza hit the spot. Ordered the pizza to go and it took about 20 min - wandered into Sunshine Foods while waiting.

wonderful coffee spot as you enter St Helena on the way to Calistoga. It's paired with a gas station. The shop is bright, open and inviting. The food looks amazing, though we only got coffee each day. The service is friendly and efficient, the coffee/tea selection ample. There are seating areas to the side and back of the shop, so there's a place to enjoy your java and food. Wonderful place!

If you are looking for a good and simple meal you need to try Station. I grew up in St Helena and I remembered when it was a service station service station. My wife and I checked it out a week ago. We got a salad and a slice of pizza. Very affordable and something very simple. It can be hard to find in St. Helena. Service is great. The staff's very friendly.

Station is literally a filling station (4 pumps to top off your tank) and an upscale, mostly take-away eatery with a delightful selection of biscuits, enticing riffs on healthier breakfast favorites like avocado toast plus muffins and quiche, great salads, smoothies, sandwiches- and pizza by the slice. I got the Salmon Toast on thick, homemade multigrain bread, nova, feta cheese spread topped with pickled onions ($15). I brought back the Grain Bowl ($13) for my swimmer with extra protein (sliced herbed chicken, + $5). All the items were delicious and high quality though a bit skimpy on salmon and sliced chicken. Still, I appreciated all the housemade, creative ingredients like the salad's harissa-spiced sweet potatoes and crispy chickpeas and the homemade thick, toasted multigrain bread for my salmon toast. Americano was delicious and service was upbeat but respectfully low-key: I don't talk much at that hour before I'm appropriately caffeinated. Staff was speedy taking and fulfilling orders as groups of people came and went. The space never felt crowded as the entire front wall (where garage doors were lifted open) left only three sides enclosed. Whoever designed the high impact graphics and the flow of this space deserves an award. It's a wow! I hope we have another meet in St. Helena soon because I want to return for the hot honey pimento and bacon biscuit and matcha lavender latte. Come here if you're day tripping in Wine Country or passing through and looking to have a delicious breakfast or lunch without breaking the bank. And let me repeat: Breakfast ALL DAY, gold star for that!

Station St. Helena has a lot going for it: charming roadside ambiance, a welcoming patio, and a menu that sounds more exciting. It's a solid stop if you're in the area and craving something casual, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us. Service was friendly but a bit scattered. Our drinks took a while. Overall, Station feels like a place that could be great with just a bit more focus. It's good for a quick bite or casual lunch, especially if you're sitting outside with a cup of tea. But in a town packed with standout options, it wouldn't be my first choice for a repeat visit.

The service is attentive and friendly and there's a generally welcoming vibe when you walk through the door. I would love to come back and try more items on the menu, but I came here with my parents and we actually ate not too long prior to visiting. A few days before visiting the area, my brother showed me a video of how they make fresh mozzarella in house and I really, really wanted to try it. In addition to the fresh mozzarella dish, I got a glass of wine and we ordered some calamari. Watching them, serve the fresh mozzarella at the table with such a delight. The mozzarella dish and the calamari were both delicious. This area seems to be a slightly more busy part of town, but this place has a large lot and we found parking really easily. A friendly reminder that they're very prompt with reservations. We thankfully didn't botch that, but factor in driving time. Staff: super friendly and accommodating. Ambiance: very, very intimate. Small and quaint. Also, the kitchen is open, so if you by chance sit in front of said kitchen, you will smell like food, like we did. My girls and I would normally opt for cocktails, but since we already did a tasting at Domaine Carneros, we needed to sober up a bit. There were a ton of CHP's so 'adulting'! They both got green tea, and I opted for an Americano. Two of us ordered the fazzoletti bolognese, and the other went for the spaghetti alle vongole. All 3 dishes came piping hot! Our bolognese was delicious. I wish I had asked for a side of bread b/c the sauce was good, and I think my friend wanted that for the vongole. Needless to say, we all inhaled our food (we needed carbs for the next tasting). Since we had time to spare, we opted to get dessert. My two friends ordered the affogato, and I opted for the strawberry panna cotta. I loved my panna cotta. It was creamy but not overwhelming, and the strawberries were the right amount of tart and sweetness. PS: their tap water had an aftertaste... it was weird. I ended up drinking my friend's hot water from her tea. Maybe it's RFK's no fluoride on water, but you can opt to get cocktails or not drink it. I will definitely visit again and prepare the wardrobe so that it doesn't end up smelling like food (my blazer had to be dry-cleaned to get the smell out). For the service and quality of food, it's definitely worth checking out, and the prices were reasonable for the area.
