Well, my experience with the food wasn't great. I ordered chicken cacciatore and it was incredibly tough; I could barely eat a few pieces. 5/14/25 After returning several times to Roberta pizza and pasta, I felt it was time to give them another review. I was in the mood for Nino's veal chop and was happy to find it on the specials menu this evening. Chef Nino prepares the chop simply grilled with a side salad . Perfect! Hubby opted for another of their specials, the osso buco served with a side of homemade Pappardelle pasta. I highly recommend both of these dishes but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. As others have stated, no pizza (or sandwiches) after 3:30 PM. BYOB, so make sure you bring a bottle of wine and be prepared to pay $6 for a bottle of Acqua Panna or whatever sparkling option that is offered. Current hours are 11:30 AM to 10 PM daily. Service is sometimes slow. Two people work here inside this very small restaurant. It is what it is. Gnocchi and red sauce are simply amazing. Meatballs were larger and better last time I was here about two years ago. Fettuccini Alfredo was really good, just needed a sprinkle of salt and pepper for my taste. I was reading a newspaper article on the wall about the restaurant which said that the couple is from Italy, and the food shows! To begin with, freshly baked, hot bread was brought to the table. Roberta's Pizza and Pasta is a little gem on the back side of the Galt Mile strip. Roberta herself served me a delicious penne vodka with shrimp, salmon and mushrooms. The pasta was cooked PERFECTLY! And I know my pasta because my grandmother's family owned an Italian restaurant. I grew up making my own pasta. Next time I will get the ravioli- they make them in house. Yes, there will definitely be a next time! And I will bring my own bottle of wine. No bar service, but Roberta will cork for you. Bread was deliciousness, too. Soft and light inside, crisp outside.
