Delicious Italian restaurant. The loaf of bread with salt and peppered olive oil was a welcome surprise, left at our table before we ordered. I had the Eggplant Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. The eggplant was cooked just the way I like it, a little crispy on the outside and cooked but not soggy on the inside. The pasta was cooked Al dente. I was so happy eating this meal.. I'm hoping we go back before we go back home. Everyone else was super happy N with their meals too. My sister in law ordered Basil Chicken Salad. It was a large and beautiful salad. She enjoyed it very much. My brother ordered the Chicken Piccata that looked amazing. He said it was delicious. My father lives locally and is a regular. He ordered the Linguine with Clam Sauce. We arrived before "Early Seating" pricing ended so our meals were a little less expensive than the regular dinner hours, and came with gelato. I don't know if they make their own gelato, but it tasted very fresh and soooo creamy. I was full but still couldn't resist eating half of the scoop. I chose Chocolate Crunch gelato. I've been several times now and I think it's very nice. Easy parking, I'm seated immediately, and the wait staff has been excellent. As for food I personally don't love the meatballs, I prefer the veal. We always (except for me) have to go boxes because the servings are pretty big. Good bread too! read more

We had a very nice dinner here yesterday evening. We came in on a Saturday evening after the early bird had ended, so we had a very short wait for a table. In fact, a table for two was faster than any other size, we were told by the very nice hostess. We'd never been to this restaurant before but were familiar with the shopping center it's in due to the Bonefish Grill and the Mississippi Sweets restaurants at the other end. So we came with no expectations. The restaurant is small and minimally decorated. Lots of beiges and wood but fairly plain and simple. We immediately liked our server as she was so personable. They brought out their signature bread. It was a focaccia style round with garlic and onions that was wonderful. It came on a wooden board with a plate for olive oil for dipping. They put ground pepper fresh from a mill in the oil if you wish. We opted for no pepper favoring salt instead. And yes, you could make a meal of just this yummy bread alone. They had a couple specials that evening but we decided to order from the menu. My husband got their cod livornese. He said it was very good. He loves the capers, etc in this tomato based sauce. He chose linguine as his side (it regularly comes with veggies). And per the server's suggestion, he got the same sauce on his pasta. I ordered their chicken francese also with linguini and the same sauce. The portion was huge -- 2 large medallions of chicken. The linguini was cooked perfectly. The sauce wasn't lemony enough for me, so I asked for extra lemon wedges and doctored it with them and some added salt. I probably wouldn't get that dish again even though it was decent. I saw someone else's chicken Parmesan and a lasagne and think I'd enjoy something better with a red sauce or one of their brick oven pizzas -- which looked wonderful, too. To finish our meal, we shared a scoop of lemon sorbetto. Very refreshing and palate cleansing. Next time I'll leave room for one of their gelatos! And yes, there will be a next time. read more

I live in Lake Worth, but had never heard of this restaurant until I was invited as part of a large group. First off - we had about 20 individuals in our party, and serving a group that big is no small feat. The servers were so accommodating from beginning to end, and our meals were served in no time at all! For the service alone, this place deserves major kudos! I ordered the soup of the day - pasta fagioli, and it arrived piping hot and delicious! The soup was flavorful - perfectly spiced and included delicious bits of bacon throughout. For a main, I devoured the fettuccine bolognese. The pasta had a nice bite, and the meat sauce was savory and delicious. The place was full and we noticed not many plates of food on the tables as we passed outdoor seating. Bartender, who was attentive and very busy with drinks, told us they opened a week ago. Pros: good selection of Italian food, cocktails and wine. Attentive Servers and busboys worked nonstop the two hours we were there. Prices were average for Wellington. Cons: excessive wait time for simple orders: salad, pizza, cocktails. We waited over an hour for 2 pizzas. Management appears to be one person. More people needed behind the bar and to bus bar area. My parents love this place and brought us along for dinner. In fact, we realized, while sitting in a particular server's section and my mom saying hello to everyone, that they visit a few times a week. Now, my parents are VERY particular about their restaurants, especially for Italian food ("we're Brooklyn-Italian" blah blah blah). The server genuinely enjoyed my parents and took good care of us. He was patient and kept our table supplied with bread. The other server cleared plates as soon as we were finished with them. So excellent service here. My parents both got steak with the fries and loved the marsala sauce and the meaty-ness of the steak. My handsome date had a veal parmigiana hero and said It was very good. I ordered from the special menu that includes salad, meal, and gelato. Because gelato, of course! The Caesar salad was perfect and came with anchovies! Not many places still offer anchovy on the Caesar salad. The portion was enough that I shared my salad around the table (well, small shares). Eggplant Parmigiana was really terrific. It was very light without being overly fried or breaded. So the taste of the eggplant really came through. The gravy was perfect too - as it was an old style grandma gravy tomato sauce that wasn't trying to be overdone with spices or garlic. And on to the gelato. I had the salted caramel gelato which had little surprise caramel chocolates in it. The scoop was a good end of dinner portion. I was happy to have real gelato here. It was the perfect creamy texture and not overly hard or frozen. Overall - exceptional staff and dinner. A great place to enjoy food. We went around 4:30 and they have a sunset menu for $22 you get a massive entree, salad, drink and gelato! We had enough food for 3 days ! It's very authentic Italian with a modern twist! The salad was the house salad. It is small, and the reason I say this, is because we saw the "actual" house salad that you can order from the woman next to me. Ours was a seriously small salad... for me perfect size, but when compared to the giant one the woman next to me had, yo my have to wonder why. I realize it's the sunset menu, but at least tell me it's smaller portions lol. Seriously, the house salad next to me was huge! I had the lasagna. Delicious. Really no complaints. Meaty cheesy hot deliciousness. Hubby had veal piccata. Too small for his liking, but he said it was good. He's had better he said, but he's get it again. He finished off my lasagna and said it was very good. We finished off with the gelato. Woman next to me said it is amazing. Well, hubby said his salted caramel was and my mint chocolate chip was gritty. I have had a lot better, but it was included. Wait staff is very nice and accommodating. Never felt neglected.
