They go above and beyond to make both pets (and pet parents) comfortable. While a flower delivery and sympathy card weren't on our mind from the vet, that's just a single example of the thought that is behind everything they do. They truly are a class act and perfect example of compassionate service in Orlando. I send all of my friends here when they're in the market for a new vet. Not only are the doctors kind and thorough, but the techs and front desk staff are what really make the difference. They get to know you and your pet and are always rooting for your furry companions. I fully believe they are a large reason why my girls have lived so long - they do routine bloodwork and have caught so many underlying issues throughout the last 6 years between the 2 of our girls (high blood pressure, hyperthyroid, all the things you don't think of for a cat). We've shed a lot of tears in Garden Vet recently, and I want to thank the whole team for taking such good care of Darla and us. Grief is not linear, and can be absolutely overwhelming. We're still healing, but we know Darla was in the best hands.

Diego came skirting around the corner from the kitchen to the family room where we all were. He couldn't stand when he reached his bed area and was shaking and more. I went into the other room to call his doctor to let them know we were bringing him in while my daughter was trying to assess the situation and calm him down. Dr Ferrell took Diego in the back immediately to look him over. The nurse called us into the room. They did bloodwork on Diego and asked us what we saw happen. It was determined his bloodwork was normal but Diego had a seizure which was the first time that has occurred. This was a very serious and scary situation for Diego and us. We were told to videotape him if it happens again and log length and frequency of them. Diego had just last month taken a flea pill due to us seeing one flea on his head. Dr Farrell said Diego will only take sentinel and his medicated shampoo and medicated foam for his feet are still ok for Diego to use.Dr. Farrell and his nursing staff and techs are so fantastic. They really put our minds at ease and have taken great care of Diego. We are watching him carefully and so far so good. Thank you Dr. Farrell, nurses, and technicians for your support and caring help.

Florida allergies are the worst! All employees were accommodating, kind, and super personable. He saw Dr. Wartenbee. Overall it was a great visit from start to finish. We were seen on time & we left confident that he will feel better soon.

I always appreciated their care. The way they treated me on the final day of my fur baby's life is something I will never forget. I had been in a month before assessing my (almost) 19-year-old Maltese, and while my mother, sister, and mother-in-law were all vocal that "it's time", my husband and I wanted to do her end-of-life care at home. On the final day, I called the vet's office and asked for a different cough medicine because it wasn't working anymore. Jessica was super kind, and I felt like she almost felt sorry for me because it was clear to everyone that we were holding on way past time. She kindly said she would get with the vet and call me back. I called her again with another follow-up piece of information about the cough's increasing intensity. And finally, when my husband and I faced the fact that she was likely in heart failure or in some other way at risk of a painful death (TMI to list all symptoms here) - I called a 3rd time and could barely utter the words "hi, it's Nellie's mom again. It's time". That was all I could get out. She didn't ask questions; she only facilitated a time that was best for me. We brought Nellie in, and the veterinary assistant and the vet could not have been any more compassionate and reassuring. I've had two other dogs, one euthanized over 10 years ago, and another one died in the OR, and no other vet and team was this compassionate. The kicker, I just received a handwritten card from their doctor and staff. I really don't have time to be writing a novel today as I prepare for a trip and on Super Bowl Sunday before company comes, but for those who are fed up with the corporate-run, money-first, pet-last, pushy clinics, this is the place to go.

I figured maybe she had a slipped disc or a pinched nerve, but I brought her in anyway. They rushed her back for evaluation and it turns out she had a mass on her spleen that burst, which, in turn, caused her spleen to rupture. She was hemorrhaging and the situation was pretty critical. The way that this team of professionals sprang to action, walked us through everything that was happening while stabilizing her, and rushed her to surgery and managed this complex case afterward was nothing short of heroic. Beyond that, the tools they have rival human grade trauma centers. The staff went above and beyond in every respect. They will wrongly diagnose your pet and charge you thousands and keep you waiting for hours without actually doing anything. I left after 4 hours of waiting and then telling me my dog needed immediate surgery that will cost $8k, when it ended up all my dog needed was a shot of Baytril for a bacteria overgrowth. This place will put your animals in more danger, make you wait and just try to charge you as much as possibly trying to lead you to an emergency surgery. Do yourself a favor and drive 5-10 minutes down the road to the place in Winter Park. I wouldn't be surprised if this place in Casselberry isn't shut down before long. I'm confident I'm not the only one who has experienced this there.
