Our servers were wonderful and attentive, we had Angel the 2nd night and the first night I didn't catch his name, but he had light colored hair pulled back in a pony tail and glasses. Both were great servers! As far as the food goes, all together we tried the fish and chips, bolognese, mongolian short rib, fried chicken, cheeseburger, short rib nachos, and pepperoni and sausage pizza- everything was delicious, but the stand out for sure was the crusty bread/charcuterie! For entrees; I had the slow cooked ribs which were really tasty and hubby had the Korean spicy flank steak with forbidden rice and THAT was magnificent. I know what I'm getting next time!! The restaurant itself is huge and the decor is cool - a bit masculine with dark lighting fixtures combined with clean wood lines with a touch of fun art along the walls. We started with the Soft Pretzels and the Provolone Fondue. They came to the table warm. The inside was soft and the outside had a nice buttery, salty flavor. The melted provolone was served over a flame and was perfect for dipping the soft pretzels. The spicy Korean skirt steak was packed with flavor. It was served with forbidden rice, mushrooms and zucchini and mixed with a garlic, chile sauce. For dessert I ordered the monkey bread which was served with vanilla ice cream and is perfect for sharing. Been to the one in Phoenix and we had a spectacular meal there so maybe that's part of the reason for the lower review but we all thought the food portions were smaller than expected and the price was a bit elevated. Our steaks were cooked well and I liked the arugula salad, but the fries were blah - hard and stale. I like that they have mocktails but I didn't see any NA beer. Our server forgot to bring several items but she was bubbly and had a great smile. There was a band playing light songs which was nice that it wasn't too loud, but although the stage was lit for Valentine's Day, the songs were 90s alternative. The name is quite misleading and the culinary dropout deserves no empathy, simply for the fact that the food here is the absolute opposite of someone that was struggling in culinary school. I love the play on words and the palace. The food here is well thought out, delicious and picturesque. As you can tell from the several photos that I've dined here several times, and on multiple occasions for the World Cup. The game day and sporting events are absolute blast here. Key things for watching sports, great food, big a$$ TVs, plethora of beer and cocktail choices and of course great service. You guessed it, this places checks all these boxes without reservations. We're seated immediately with our reservation. Keller, our server greeted us and explained the menu and quickly brought us drinks. We discussed the menu some more and we decided we were going to get the shrimp and the chicken with a biscuit. He asked if we were in a hurry and when we said no he coursed the dishes instead of ringing them both in at once out which just made more work and steps of service for him. This however allowed us to thoroughly enjoy each dish as hot and fresh as the chef intended. He also recommended an amazing dessert. The atmosphere is loud but not crazy loud. The place is both child and dog friendly. Ordinarily there's a quick way to annoy me and a quick way to overjoy me: put me in a room with a bunch of kids or a bunch of pets. The room was loud enough to drown out kit noises but not loud enough that we couldn't talk. There were lots of dogs which is just eye candy for me. I have said for years that amazing service can overcome mediocre food but the best food in the world can't overcome mediocre service. Thankfully you get both here. I do wish there was more communication from the server but since it was such a big group I can understand I ordered their fried chicken which says it will take a long time but it's supposed to be worth the wait . There's live music in the evenings, a large bar and even corn hole! There's a large enclosed back patio-type area with big screen TVs and all the sports your hearts desire. The food was really yummy. 8/18/22 We came to Culinary Drop out for lunch since we had a layover. We got there at 11:25am and parked right in front of the restaurant. When we came in, there were only a handful of tables and we opted for outdoor seating since it was hot out but there was a nice breeze. Our waitress, Aubree was very friendly and professional. I was also impressed that she knew the menu very well because Zach couldn't decide on what to get and she gave him concise answers on what certain menu items had and what previous customers thought about it. Here's what we decided to get: 1. Shaved prime rib dip sandwich with house salad (his) 2. Fried chicken (mine) [FYI, it takes 15 minutes, which is mentioned on the menu and by our waitress] 3. Hot wings (to share) 4. Summer evening sangria (mine) 5. The great divide Hazy IPA (his) The drinks and wings came out together in less than 10 minutes. My boyfriend loves wings and I'm not a huge fan of them, but these were quite exceptional. They smelled and tasted so good. I liked that they put some radishes with the wings for the contrast in texture and I liked that it wasn't the traditional celery/carrot sticks. Aubree also provided us with a separate bowl for the bones which we appreciated. For the prime rib sandwich, I thought it tasted great without the dip and they put a lot of meat in the sandwich. The portions of fried chicken were pretty large, so much that I couldn't finish it. The chicken was perfectly crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The potatoes were also delicious and smothered in gravy. The biscuit was fluffy and buttery. The only thing lacking on the plate was the coleslaw. With egg, sausage, crispy potato, avocado, sour cream, and provolone fondue it was something to experience for sure. My husband chose the smokehoue hash, which he happily noshed on. After eying their brunch and wanting everything on the menu, we ultimately decided on the following: -- Sausage, Bacon and Egg Pizza (smoked onion alfredo, mozzarella cheese, provolone fondue, hash brown crust, arugula) -- Banana Bread French Toast (butter toasted almond, banana caramel, sugar chantilly) Each dish was carefully prepared and tasted pretty darn good after morning cocktails! I really liked the hashbrown crust and fresh arugula on top! Although it escapes me on what Carly and her husband ordered, they both seemed pleased with their meals. I have to knock two stars off for two things: the service and price. We enjoy dining out and visit this restaurant for special events. Yesterday, we were celebrating my birthday with my family. I made our reservations through Open Table-5 people at 6:30. Upon arrival, the restaurant was not full and nor did it ever get full during our visit. We were seated along the kitchen windows and shortly following our arrival the server arrived for our drink order. It took over 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Once the drinks arrived, we had placed our entire food order. Requested the charcuterie board to start and then we would move into our entrees. It took over an hour for our food to come out and we watched it sit in the widow, under the heat lamp for over 6 minutes. The food was cold and the plates were warm. We ordered the ribeye, 2 steak frites, a prime rib sandwich and burger. The charcuterie board came out after our entrees. We continued to watch other table's food sit in the window, waiting for a server to swoop it up and deliver it to the respective customers. It was so terrible that we ended up turning it into a game. Using our phone timers and guessing how long food would sit and wait. At one point, a tables order had sat in the window for almost 10 minutes before it was brought out. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. No manager stopped by to check in, nothing. We will not be coming back again and I strongly recommend that you find a new spot to grab drinks and places to celebrate. read more

Another cocktail that hit the spot was the two to mango, definitely a huge hit for those that want a refreshing drink. For apps, we decided on the Soft Pretzel & Provolone Fondue! It was definitely a bit pricey but great option to share with others. We also got the tomato soup (soup of the night), because I am a firm believer that you can tell how good the food will be based on how the tomato soup comes out. It is definitely more acidic than most creamy tomato soups that I have had but the crunch from the croutons in the soup made a huge difference. However, if you are looking for a silky smooth tomato soup, this is not for you. The highlight of the night -- the entrees!!! We got the Steak Frites and Shaved Prime Rib Dip. This place is a 10/10. The ambiance of this place gives off so many different feels. We came on a Friday night - there was a DJ playing. This place is pretty big. They have booths that feel "loungy" to the bar area with multiple different sports games playing. You could literally celebrate any occasion here. The service was impeccable. She constantly checked on us, made sure our drinks were constantly filled - literally made sure we were good a quarter way to finishing, and ensured we were enjoying our food. The food was delicious. This place is amazing! We stopped here for date night at the recommendation of our friends and we look forward to going back sometime soon. Everything on the menu is scratch made in house with fresh ingredients, even the fruit syrups they use in the cocktails. The food is absolutely delicious. My husband and I got pretzel nuggets with provolone fondue as our appetizer. I got the roasted salmon and my husband got the BBQ pork nachos for our entrees. The pretzel nuggets were super soft and the fondue was pure cheesy deliciousness. Our friends got onion rings as their appetizer and fish and chips and the chicken katsu sandwich as their entrees. Everyone loved their food and we tried a bit off each other's plates. Our friends spoke highly of the sauce on the chicken katsu sandwich and the coleslaw that came with the fish and chips. The dessert menu looked great and we really regretted skipping dessert but were so full we couldn't take another bite. We will just have to go back for dessert another time. The drinks are great as well. The Sweater Weather Sangria was so amazing that I had two and my husband really liked the Evil Jungle Princess cocktail. The cocktail was very strong but the sangria was a perfect blend of wine and juices not to sweet and just strong enough. Our friends got the Smashed Irishman cocktail and the Two To Mango cocktail and seemed to enjoy their drinks as well. This was a very bittersweet experience. We went to an early dinner. The wait was normal, about 20 minutes, but the place was packed. We were seated and I ordered a drink, the Campfire. It was brought promptly and it was delicious. Our server, Emily, was very nice and helpful. Overall the staff was very pleasant and professional. Next, we chose some charcuterie. Manchego and Gorgonzola cheese with prosciutto and garlic bread and brussellsprouts. The brussellsprouts were absolutely delicious! It was all good, but I highly recommend the brussellsprouts specifically. We decided to get the ribs and the fried chicken (all white meat up charge and sub Cole slaw for macaroni and cheese) for the main course. I expected both dishes to take a bit so I wasn't stressed. After about 25 minutes or so, the manager came out and told us it would be a bit longer. I wasn't necessarily upset at that point. About 20 minutes later Emily came out and told us they would bring our food momentarily. Another 5 minutes later, our food came. I immediately grabbed for my biscuit. It was cold! Now, I am all for waiting for something, but when you bring it out late, it's preferred (particularly at $30 a plate) that it's correct. Further, I waited an additional few minutes for my mac and cheese. They finally brought me a warm biscuit (upon request) with the mac and cheese. It was very frustrating to have to wait that long AND have things come out kinda willy-nilly. Now, let's talk about the food. It was probably the best I have had in Denver thus far. The mac and cheese was super rich and delightful. The mashed potatoes were very good, and the warm biscuit really brought it home. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife's ribs were falling off the bone in the best way possible. In the conversation for the best ribs I have had across the country. They gave us some coupons for free pretzels, but honestly I would have felt a bit better if they would have done something like comp my drink or not upgcharge me for white meat and/or mac and cheese. Overall, the service misstep was the difference between 3 and 5 stars. But I'd likely go back as it just looked like an off night. read more

It is rare for me to be blown away by every dish and drink I ordered, but here we are. I ordered Evil Jungle Princess drink which was rum with cinnamon and pineapple, not to shaby. For dinner I ordered. The roasted salmon with Butternut Farro risotto. It was one of the best things I have ever eaten. Fresh pesto on tbe salmon thay was cooked perfectly. A tad salty was my only complaint and that was minor. For desert, I got the banana bar. Peanut butter mouse and caramelized banana. Yum!!! There will be a wait. The music is up fairly loud. The service was great, but as most places that are busy it takes time. Highly recommend!! read more

Came for dinner with some friends while traveling for work. The atmosphere is super fun - swanky but casual and inviting. We started with the chips and onion dip and the watermelon with avocado. Both were delicious! I enjoyed a really great, and not too sweet, mezcal daiquiri to drink and then had the chicken salad. The salad was dressed too heavy for my liking and had a sweetness to it that I really didn't prefer. However, it was good enough and the atmosphere and excellent service made up for what my tastebuds were lacking. read more

I honestly hate this because the food was so good, but the general manager gave my buddy such a horrible problem about booking his wife's birthday lunch late in the afternoon on a Thursday. The place was empty and you would have thought it was slammed with how the manager was reacting. Most of the attendees didn't even want to go here but that's where our friend was wanting to go for her birthday but when you are dead do something to accommodate people. Our quarterly family dinner with another family lead us to this spot. Street parking or a parking structure around the corner for your parking needs. Make a reservation or you'll find yourself waiting. We came on a Saturday around 6pm. The place was busy and LOUD.. so LOUD we almost gave up talking to each other and we were seated by the front door. Kudos for the staff for finding us a table that will fit a wheelchair and our party comfortably. What we swallowed: *SANGRIA: This was refreshing and tasty and not too bitter or watery. *ONION RINGS: Crispy and hot. Batter was thick but didn't crumble when you bit into it. Very good. *PRETZEL BITES: Deliiiiiiisssshh. This provolone fondue that came with it was on fiiiiiiire. It was soo good. We were trying to dip everything we could in it. Get this for the cheese dip alone. *BBQ PORK BELLY NACHOS: What's not to love? Pork belly and nachos! Sometimes you get too much of something in your nachos and it throws everything off but not this, everything was represented perfectly and it tasted great. *FRIED CHICKEN: This was soooo good. The brine on this chicken was just everything.. crispy.. salty (but not too salty). Perfection! Add the mash, gravy, biscuit and coleslaw. This was heaven. *CHEESE PIZZA: Crispy edges on this pizza.. my fav. This was delightful. *KOREAN STYLE RIB EYE: We ordered this as a recommendation from our server and it was sooo good.. juicy.. full of flavor. It's a hearty dish but soo soo good. *KIDS MAC and CHEESE: I thought it was OK. My 8 year old mac-n-cheese connoisseur gave it a 7/10 Cool decor. Refreshing drinks (and a good variety). Delicious food. This place is great. We loved everything we tried and I keep laughing thinking about how the boys really loved that provolone fondue.
