    Reuben sandwich and coleslaw.
    LInda C.

This is a new neighborhood restaurant. I chose it because it was close to the Botanic Gardens. I had a Reuben sandwich with coleslaw. Best Reuben I've had in a long, long time! Just enough meat and sauerkraut for taste buds, but not so much that it spilled out all over the plate. Very modern vibe, we were there early, but by 6:00 the place was half full. Would definitely go back.

    Simple salad on HH.

On the HH were 3 choices $7 x. I ordered all 3. The cauliflower and the broccoli dishes were standouts, so good. The flank steak was cooked to perfection and delish. My branzino was ok. The waitress was very personable. The large rectangular room was sparse but pleasant.

This is my new favorite neighborhood spot! I went with my husband and two kids under three for the first time on Friday! We were so impressed! The staff was incredibly nice, the ambiance was great and the food was AMAZING! We thought it was so great we came back on Sunday and brought my parents who were visiting from out of state. We started with the crunchy broccoli and bread! Wow! The broccoli was incredible and had an amazing crunch. The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The bread came with three different spreads (the garlic butter was heavenly). I got the chicken kale salad and it was great! I had order envy of my husband - he got the mushroom burger! The staff was understanding of our son's allergies and were able to accommodate him which always makes a restaurant stand out to me! For any parents out there...they have a nice changing table in the bathroom! I attached a photo because I think it is the details like a nice changing table that can make such a big difference when visiting a restaurant with young children! Thank you Briar Patch! We can't wait to come back!

Vibe is a little off. Blank white walls/very clean and sterile looking. Restaurant could definitely hang some art and cool pieces of decor to make it warmer and more welcoming. Service was good. My whiskey cocktail was great and all of our food was good. Their sister restaurant Briar Commons, is better in my opinion but this concept is newer so may still be getting into the groove of things.

Excited to have a new neighborhood spot to try out! 3.5 stars if I could do that. Came for dinner with my grandparents and everyone had a great time. I got the French onion soup which was delicious, and then my grandparents split a salad and a few small plates. The food was good, not amazing, but we got pretty simple things like roasted broccoli and fries. The service was lovely! The main thing keeping this from more stars is the fact that the ambiance was quite off, everything was white (walls, tables, backsplash of bar ect) and the lights were veryyy bright, making it a bit jarring coming in for dinner. Some softer lighting would be a great change in my opinion.

We def will be back. More pros than drawbacks. Service was fine/kinda slow ; server was very nice. Stools on the Bar high top side of the restaurant were pretty uncomfortable. I also wish they had purse hooks. I'd rather wait for a normal table next time than sit on those stools again. Simple but cute table decor. Cool wine glasses and yummy wine. Reuben sandwich and fries were really fantastic. Stole the show. Mushroom risotto with steak was decent... risotto was a touch underdone IMO and just barely warm. Medium rare steak was a good quality cut but a bit blue. The Handhelds may be the way to go next time. Again, will def be back to try more menu items here and I hope they make it.

Ordered med well. Served half alive.

The restaurant was under staffed. So the service was slow. The server was very nice and helpful. The food was mid. The chef was kind enough to come out and tell the table next to us how she worked at a Michelin star restaurant. Unfortunately it didn't reflect in the food that night. I have seen at least 4 restaurants in this spot and all were good with consistent food and still closed. I suspect this place will follow the same fate.

Food was amazing, staff was great, place was clean and updated! Happy hour deals were good, and drinks were yummy! We're already planning to go back for a date night! So glad this is in the neighborhood.

My wife and kids gave Briar Patch a try for the first time on our "Family Friday Night Out". My wife and I took a "risk" by going to what we thought might be too upscale of an ambiance/too "snooty" for a toddler and baby. However, we were proven wrong on the attitude of the staff; they could not have been more accommodative to us/our kids (the kids menu was so thoughtful) and they took such pride in their restaurant opening. It's easy to write a 5 of 5 review when you see such character in a restaurant alongside such flavorful food at a reasonable price point.

    A solid crowd for Thursday.

Just found this place. Fantastic and reasonably priced food. Chef's designer burgers are to die for plus real pommes frittes style fries. They have a full menus besides burgers also. all very fresh snd interesting ingredients. Sue, our server, was wonderful and the owner stopped by our table as well. I am so glad to see a new place like this! Great food and great attitude.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Solid beer menu and great food. Kids menu is on point and the environment is perfect for families. You can tell they really did the building update right and the staff is settling into really making this something special. Cheers to many years of success.

It was pretty busy on a Friday night, but we were told that a few customers did not show for their reservation so we lucked out. The hostess was friendly and gave us the option of a booth or the bar. We chose the bar. Corsica has almost what I would call a modernized vintage decor, with high ceilings, brick walls, and interesting light fixtures. It was kind of a stylish warehouse. Upon being seated, we were greeted right away by the bartender who took our drink orders. I chose the Wolfpack, a salty and sweet bourbon cocktail, and my friend chose the Tiki Baby, a tequila cocktail with fruit flavors. Both were delicious and meticulously made. We ordered about four tapas to start with. They honestly came out almost too quickly, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they came out even before out cocktails were prepared. They did get one of our items wrong, but corrected it by allowing us to keep it at no charge. The food was great, but I liked some items more than others. The stuffed dates were probably my favorite. I was slightly disappointed in the caulini, as it is wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. Despite the food coming out quickly, we didn't feel rushed at all. We sat for a long time, and ordered more drinks, and a couple more tapas. I felt very European, as we ended out meal with wine and cheese. All in all, I very much enjoyed my meal at Corsica and would definitely go again.

The menu was recently refreshed and it shows. The mushroom paella was loaded and perfectly cooked, the burrata was a solid start, and the Turkish pizza with halloumi was a surprise standout. The poached cod was also great, especially the sauce. The drinks were just as strong. The L5 margarita with salt foam was really good, and even the frosé, which I usually skip, worked perfectly here. I assume seating on the other side would give you a view of the mountains but we didn't explore. For the food, we just ordered 2 starters: eggplant fries and patatas bravas. The potatoes were dry and starchy and not crispy like I would hope and expect for the dish, would not order again. The eggplant fries on the other hand were amazing - crispy with a sweet glaze and perfectly tender on the inside. I would come back just for these fries. The seafood dishes looked and smelled amazing as we saw other tables get them and I'd come back to order other dishes just because the views, drinks, and service were so great.

As someone else stated, their cacio e pepe is soooo over peppered, over salted & gritty. Apps on happy hour were just ok. Drinks are just ok & not worth $9 (mind blowing that Italian gin + tonic would go for more w/o HH). That Marsala dish had almost zero marsala cream which is crazy work if you're gonna call it a Marsala. Breaded chicken added onto any dish w/no seasoning in the breading?! Just odd. Advised cashier who took order one dish we'd like to split & was told "oh yah, we can just get you a spoon for that" instead of simply typing into your POS 'SPLIT' so your guest is not sitting there waiting for new share plates & oh yah, a second go around for kitchen staff to bring a spoon. Work smarter, not harder. What really did it over the top this dining "experience" for me & my family was the male bartender. Let's just sidebar for a moment too--where's the personality & humor in 'hospitality' nowadays?! Apparently, my mums joke about "filling it to the top" went right over this guys head because he decided to be flat out rude to us after dropping apps even going as far as to mock me saying "tHaNk YoU" in a condescending, nasty way & then throwing a serving spoon down...WOAH. Who knows if he was conversing with his coworker about our table specifically but all 3 of us heard him talking about "just non industry people" which is soooo comical because my husband was a chef for 14 years but go off, fam! Not to mention I worked FOH in Las Vegas for a decade. & look guys, I know what you're gonna say! Well, you do it yourself then if you can do it better & do you know what?! We usually do haha but this place is sentimental for my mother who was happy to go because it reminded her of her late husband (my dad, who passed 3 years ago). The crazy part that's worth writing is I think us humans have forgotten that everyone is struggling with this & that & we are all just trying our best to get by. This used to be my favorite part about working in a restaurant: giving your guest a POSITIVE, UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE to escape life's struggles. Somewhere where you can go & spend your hard earned dollars & FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT but also to forget said struggles of your day or even your life! Antywayssss, 3 years later, no way this restaurant is being recommended for a Michelin Star nowadays. Go somewhere else for housemade pasta.

We also had the black miso cod, this might have been the highlight dish. It was so tender and supple, melting at the touch of a fork and even better in your mouth.
