This service is such a joke, my wife and I placed our order 7/2/26 for 4 bottles a month. Never got a call back for a delivery so I called 7/6/26 and asked about my order the person on the phone was so quick to say yes we got it we'll be there tomorrow without telling me where it was being delivered I asked to confirm the address he told me and read it back. The day came it was supposed to be delivered and they said we are 3 mins away I was at work so my wife was there.. upon arriving no communication whatsoever. I texted twice and called no answer, my wife called and was told they don't deliver to the third floor and she would have to come down to get the bottles... a male driver... so the person on the phone said do you want it or not to my wife and she said we would decide later what we wanted to do so they cancelled my order and refunded me without asking lol find ANY OTHER company please don't waste your time with them. If you read the other reviews here, you'll see a very clear pattern billing issues, no communication, false notices, and terrible customer service. I just experienced the exact same thing. I provided Culligan with my active card on file for automatic billing specifically to avoid late notices. My card was successfully charged last month with no call, no issue, no problem. But instead of honoring that setup, they continued calling me with "past due" threats and then escalated it to an equipment removal notice while STILL having my valid payment method on file. This is unacceptable and shows a major internal billing problem. Their team has already apologized in the past for calling me about payments that were not actually late and yet here we are again with removal threats for an account that was already paid. Reading the other reviews, it's clear this isn't a one-off mistake. It's a systemic problem with their customer service, communication, and billing accuracy. Things started off well. I was very happy with the people that sold me and installed the system. After some years we had a plumber in the house who also installs water softeners. He seemed to have some serious qualms about our system and urged me to query Culligan. They sent a fellow out that seemed inexperienced and told me that he would have to ask someone senior to himself. I never heard back. It turned out that this was this fellow's last day and I was sent a bill. Also at that visit I told the fellow that the valve that opens and closes the system was leaking. He didn't seem overly concerned and told me to keep doing what I was doing and that was backing it off so it would stop leaking. I thought that was a weird fix for a professional. read more

We have been using Culligan for water and salt delivery service since we moved to AC. For that, we are very satisfied with their service. However, we had some issues with our water softener install that resulted in a slow leak in our utility room that their yearly inspection failed to catch. Finally I noticed that the dry wall was getting wet and soggy when I was refilling the salt, which lead to the discovery of a leak in the regeneration line. Turns out that the technician that installed our Culligan system did not tighten the connection. This resulted in dry wall damage and some mold growth behind the wall that needed to be remediated and repaired. read more

Do not go with them, they delivered poisoned/ drug enhanced water on the week of 2/5/2022 to customer #291-10236933-2. The water I paid for had been tampered with directly from their facility because after opening the sealed 3 gallon containers myself I sat with the water and was the only one there in my home before drinking it that night and I swear by Allah Almighty that the company did this to me! I am a religious Muslim; fasting by day and drinking their water by night this day & I experienced inability to get out of bed,serious lack self awareness and time lapses, memory lapses/ hallucinations about an hour after drinking several glasses of their water only that night. This is a tough review because for service, I'd give them zero stars. For product and sales rep, I'd give them 5 stars. I had a Culligan soft water system and RO system installed in 2018. My salesman was Tim Shanahan. He was fair, honest, kept his word, and always available. The products are high quality and I have had minimal issues. I did just recently have an issue with my RO system not producing water and called the office a little upset about a $179 trip charge. The lady was extremely nice and understanding and said she would have a manager call me. That never happened, and I do not like businesses that blow off customers. So I managed to get ahold of Tim, and it's been 6 years since I've had contact with him. Tim was extremely understanding and helpful. Tim took the time to troubleshoot the issue with me, and he was able to solve the issue on the phone with me, and get my system working again. Tim is an awesome gentleman and I really appreciate him doing that. My issue is, once you're a customer, Culligan will charge you $179 for a trip charge just to come out. I did call several other water companies, and that is not industry standard. So the company was more than willing to charge me $179.00 just to come out and additional labor charges involved. I really don't think this is a good practice and I think they need to make some changes on the service end. I am grateful to Tim and I highly recommend him. I also do recommend Culligan products. However, I would thoroughly check into the service end once you have the product. Now, in the near future, I need my filters changed and I will have to pay $179 just to have them come out, and additionally pay for the filters. One company I called that offers a comparable RO system, comes out once a year, replaces your filters and checks your system, all for $140. Tim did talk me out of it, but I was highly considering ripping my Culligan system out, and having a company that isn't going to price gouge me on service calls, install theirs. A new system installed is not much more than a Culligan filter change (with the $179.00) trip charge. Then I can feel comfortable having my filters changed yearly for a fair price $140. I really hope Culligan reviews it's service practices, because they really do have a great product along with a salesman that really goes above and beyond to keep his customers happy. read more

Absolutely the worst delivery service I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with for service! I've spoken to the General Manager, Kevin multiple times and have been assured each time that the problems have been resolved. Well, Kevin is either a liar or he is inept to the point of not knowing and understanding his business. Not once in the year that I have paid for this service have they delivered on time! Each time there is a tire blowout, a break down, or an injured employee. It is uncanny the sheer amount of trauma this company allegedly ensures while trying to deliver water! Don't get me wrong their price is right, but there service and reliability suck!!! The office staff seems to be a bunch of idiots too who can't keep their stories straight. Some weeks it's a blowout tire and then a mechanical breakdown. They can't keep track of what lie they're telling people!!! Hilarious! Anyway, if you can afford a different service for your eater I would recommend doing that over these clowns any day! Bought a whole house water softener system and an under the sink reverse osmosis system in a new home build. I still have crusty white buildup on the shower head which they can't tell me why. The water softener system uses very, very little salt which they say is normal. Tried ordering replacement filters for my RO system and after several months of calling and waiting, still don't have the filters. They want to charge $150 plus filter costs to come out and change them when I can do it myself. When I call, the person I talk to seems to have no clue and puts me on hold multiple times for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. So far, my current call is 25 minutes. Three filters, $90. My advice for an under sink reverse osmosis system would be to use a different commercially available RO system where you don't have to go through a particular company to get the filters. But here we are with this system now. My mistake was to purchase the system as opposed to renting. Now I'm stuck with it. To be fair, I had used Culligan in a previous house and was happy with them then, but now, I would not recommend Culligan at all. read more

They were way over priced, but I thought I was buying a quality brand that would last at least 10 years. The unit has broken down after only 5 years in use and the Culligan repair service fee is three times what other companies charge. Customer service is everything!in 2023, I put in my first purifying system. The technician, Mellow, has been consistent and professional. Any time I have a problem, he does not hesitate to solve it. They have bad business practice. My under the sink filtration system went bad and flooded out my kitchen causing damage. I called several times to have it fixed or removed. They never responded. So I took the system out myself and drove it to their main office and dropped it off. Then they sent me a bill for $250. It was a removal fee. They did not remove the system for me I had to do it myself. I was told it didn't matter whether I remove it or they remove it I still have to pay the fee. The system was faulty and did over $1000 worth of damage under my sink and drywall and they wanted a removal fee. I told them they are going to have to send the bill to collections. Hands down this is one of the worst companies to deal with. I am not even sure why they are in business. I recommend not doing business with them or sign any contracts with them. This is the most screwed up company that I have done business with! They screw up appointments, hard to deal with and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! Had my system scheduled to be serviced last week and just a couple a days before received numerous texts and emails stating my system is overdue for service, plase call to set up an appointment!!!!!!! My system was serviced last Thursday and between yesterday and TODAY, Saturday received numerous calls and text messages that "my system is overdue for service."!!!!!!!!!!! The worst water delivery service I have ever experienced! What is really disgusting is that if they miss your delivery, they put you in 10 - 15 days down the road because that is the best they can do! If you depend on this water, don't go with Culligan! This is not the first time this has happened. I think their drivers make up excuses- this time it was that the driver couldn't get the door open on the truck! Supposedly left a note - no note was found, and we were watching our porch for hours yesterday. Saw no truck. Really?!!! My water cooler stopped working so I no longer get hot or cold water. When I called in and asked to have someone come out to replace it, I was told I would have to wait until my next scheduled delivery next month or pay $40 for a special trip out to my place. I asked for clarification, because it shocked me that I should have to pay extra for someone to come out and fix a broken product that I am paying them to rent. She replied "Yes, sorry we just don't have the man power to be making special deliveries". I said "so I just have to deal with a broken product from you guys for a month". Replied a simple "Yes". Sent a cooler that did not work along with 5 bottles of water. I called and they said they would send a new cooler. They brought another cooler and 5 more bottles of water. The new cooler also did not work. They picked up the coolers and left me 10 bottles. They call me and tell me they are not sending me a cooler that works. DO NOT SIGN with these people, they are crooks. They signed us up for a 1 year contract and told us at that time if we sold our home during the one year we could transfer the contract to the new buyer and we would have no other obligation. If the new buyer did not want the water softener then they would pick it up and we would have to pay for the first year. Fair enough. After we sold our home their sales rep asked me to put them in touch with the new buyer to sign them up. Their sales rep again told us if the new buyer signs we are no longer required to pay So we spoke to the buyer and they signed up for the water softener. A week after the buyer signs, we get a call from Culligan Collections Department saying we owe them for a full year rent even though the new buyer signed up. They said the salesman was wrong and in our contract we agreed to pay for a full year regardless. Now they want US and the NEW Buyer to pay for the same system for the same period at the same time for one year. Southwest Water Conditioning and Culligan are a scam, stay well clear of this company and their shady practice. We will be fighting them in court over this. We would have never signed up the new buyer to double pay them if we had known this. ----- Updated information, so now the sales folks have called us and told us we just need to pay through closing and we are done. He said billing is always making this mistake and angry customers then take it out on them. Culligan needs to get their billing department straightened out instead of getting customers this upset and angry. We explained to them that she was threating to send us to collections if we didn't pay for the year. So now we will pay through closing and hopefully this ends the dispute. I have had a Culligan Water Softener for 8 years now.  The original system required replacement after 4yrs, and now after 8yrs, the control valve has stopped working. I diagnosed the failure this time myself, since the last time Culligan visited my home, it was an example of incompetant field service.  I had to call Culligan head office to motivate proper service.  I have no complaints about head-office staff!  Head-office is responsive and gets the job done. This time, I texted the office admin photos of the replacement parts I needed before arriving.  I was told they had one in stock and would put it on hold for me.  Different story when I actually arrived.  On pricing the replacement control valve assembly, the admin punched some numbers into a calculator, and two of them stared at it for ~20sec, before one of them said it was a non-negotiable $560.  That was after the admin said it would be $271.33 in the text message, and the parts guy said it was around $1400. Finally, do not expect more than 4yrs of service from the controls valve assembly (Gold or Plantinum series). I have the text messages to back up my account. read more

I can't say enough great things about Phillip and Ken at Culligan. Phillip spent a lot of time walking me through the technology so I could make an informed decision and Ken is the MASTER installer! Both also just happen to be really nice, personable fellas! The installation is flawless, no mess, Ken even noticed an issue with my faucet! Both men went above and beyond, I really appreciate it guys! I just took my first shower and it was marvelous. Tomorrow they install my Washer and I just know I'm going to wash everything I own so I can get any residues out of them! Ick! read more

We spent nearly $10,000 on their equipment. Water sofener and reverse osmosis system. We used their financial institution Aqua Finance. We are elderly and therefore they assume we are stupid is all I can figure. After we had payed it off. The finance company declared that we still owed another $3,000. We became very angry about it because they were harrassing us about late payments that did not exist. They just wanted to keep collecting even when it was payed off. Then came the plandemic. We paid them to have salt delivered and placed in the salt container which stopped for that period of time. We also had them replace our RO filters about twice. The last request for service, we had tryed to replace the filters ourselves. The reason it wouldn't work for us is because the bladder had deflated. So he fixed that, charged us for the filters wer had already bought and asked if he could check things out in the garage. We had two extra bags of back up salt. Thinking that the employee had done his job, we paid them. That was in the in middle of 2022. Still have two bags of salt because he turned off the digital controls including salt usage. First of all, the website is awful. But if you can get past that fine, then there is no information once you sign up and they accept your payment. When I called, after being charged $38...they said "we don't have any information for you and you can't order just 2 bottles." Why doesn't the website say that, when it charged me for 2 bottles? In August of 2021 I purchased a whole house filtration system along with the RO and bluetooth to activate the RO system. Day 1 the RO system did not work and threw constant TDS error messages. I've made multiple attempts to get this corrected with now 6 service visits, calls to the Culligan head office, Sean the service manager (when he would actually call me back) and now four months later they're finally replacing the system. As a first time client to Culligan I'm disappointed in the care, follow-up, follow through, and overall service. The service technicians have been great, Amy at the call center was very helpful, I think the issue is at the management level and I regret the day I made this purchase. read more
