Great experience hiring MCS for a new water softener installation…read more I live in Yorba Linda and had been given the name of a company that was an authorized installer of Puronics systems in the area. That company came out, didn't provide any literature and verbally explained what they offered and quoted some ridiculously high prices. Then I was driving home one day and saw a service truck for MCS in my neighborhood that had graphics on it that said they installed Puronics systems. I spoke to that technician and he came over to look at my existing worn out system. He had literature explaining all their offerings and quoted prices that were much lower than the other authorized installer had offered. He gave me the quote on a Friday and three days later on Monday, they finished the installation in about 3 hours. The completed installation looked very professional. In setting up and testing the system, the installer (Jun) fine tuned the settings for the hardness of the incoming city water, the number of people in the household, the system regeneration timing (# of days), etc. while continuing to check the outgoing Puronics water for the correct softness (with a chemical test) after each adjustment. He then explained to me the functions and operation of the control panel. In summary, I'm very satisfied with MCS Water Technology for their pricing, installation and quality of technicians. My lesson learned is to check if there are other authorized installers in neighboring areas for an item you're shopping for. In my case, I found a gem of a company in MCS that was just a few miles away in Rowland Heights.

They only serviced the entire house or their R/O b/f water cooler standard or deluxe model (if they had water coolers) had to be purchased, they didn't rent. If they rented the monthly and install rate for 1 room was insanely high. Then I called CWS, talked to Phil, friendly helpful guy. Gave me unreal affordable quotes. I had to repeat back to be sure. They had various R/o b/f water cooler models. Standup unit or counter. Set a quick install date, Phil came and answered all my questions, showed me around the R/O b/f water cooler, the filters were inside the cooler. Who knew? Didn't have to go under the sink. The landlord wouldn't allow the R/O faucet install. Everything was great. Phil cleaned up. Made sure his install was fine even though he had another big job in south OC yet to drive to after my job. I was in IE. I highly recommend CWS to those who want filter clean water for just their kitchen fellow Yelpers. My cooler has 3 settings. Hot, cold, regular. If you want a Rental standup unit ask for a 'new' one. They'll know what you're talking about. My roommate will especially use the regular temp setting for her sunroom full of plants. Carlos was quick to respond and provided a fair quote after sending him appropriate photos and videos of my home. Scheduling was quick and easy. On the day of the install, Trevor was the superstar and performed the installation for all the systems. Jimmy also stopped by to quickly add an electrical outlet for the water softening system. Trevor was kind, worked efficiently, and was very good at confirming exact details with how we wanted our systems installed (e.g., where we wanted the softening system to drain, the exact location for the reverse osmosis faucet). His work on the pipes was also very clean, and he did a great job educating me on how to use the systems and proper maintenance. They also threw in a free first bag of salt.
