Upon arriving it so nice to see that all their entrances were wheel chair friendly for my mother. The hostess could have been a bit more helpful with how they work the seating, as in do we wait to be seated or seat ourselves? This being our first time here I wasn't sure. She acted as if i should know all of this and I was putting her out to ask. I'm glad to say that the waitress made up for the initial greeting. The waitress was so friendly and informative about the menus. She was quick to grab our drinks and the food came out so fast! We had the all you can eat fish and it was delicious! I had the breaded fish, it was wonderful not over breaded or greasy, large pieces! My mother had the baked fish and she said it was wonderful as well. Big portions and the atmosphere is very log cabin/ small town bar feel. It was so quaint, and so clean! With a large outdoor eating area. All in all I would definitely recommend the Cullom Knoll if you're looking for an amazing fish fry!

I hate to rate this way, since the food is usually good, but the last few times I've been here, service has been really slow and either the waitress never came back to check and when she did I'd already started to eat my pizza so saying the crust was really over done got a that's how they make it, reply, it took a long time to reach the table so I ordered another beer. I do not drink beer quickly either. and the second beer was ordered a minute or 5 after happy hour. I would have ordered the second sooner had she asked. Then I know mistakes are made, but ordered wings no breading, and they were made with, so they were remade but it took 45 plus minutes from the time I ordered to get them. So two demerits. I will probably order to go from now on. Just sayin, two in a row. Everyone there working is nice but I don't need to stick around forever. Oh and points. I always forget to tell them and they never ask. ???

We went on a Friday for fish fry. My complaint is that they did not have. The cheddar garlic biscuits. I so wanted to try that. Bummer. The staff was great. We were sat in a good location. I like other reviews I did not see a table by the bathroom lol. They do have two sides of dining area. We all ended up chop the same meal. With the exception I got the half half dinner. Ok the potatoes cakes. I did not like them at all. My friends all thought they were good. The fish was very good but still not as great as my favorite place. The server did let me get fries after I tried the potato cakes and was not happy. So my refill was fries. The baked fish was good I do enjoy some with no breading. Fried fish had a good texture and taste. The tartar sauce good with a nice flavor. Did not like the slaw at all it had an off flavor to me. Would definitely go back want to try the pizza next

    Boneless wings buffalo sauce

Taste was good but don't call it a colossal blt when there is barely bacon on it. We also had boneless wings and normally they are good but a lil over done tonight.

I went the other day after a month of not going and it seems the food has taken quite the dive down. But the beer was cold.

Wow, just wow. I love wings in a variety of ways. I make decent wings myself and have likely…read moretried them at over a hundred different places in my lifetime. This place was shockingly delicious. Let's start with the elephant in the room... time. It took longer than I was expecting to receive my food, however there is a really good reason for that. The wings were prepared perfectly. I do mean perfectly. Juicy, but completely cooked and crispy. I seriously doubt these were frozen fried because the wings were cleaned very well. I've been to wing places serving every 4th wing still has a feather (yuck) or overly breaded or salted. Not this place! These wings have an incredible crispy texture but still hot and flavorful. I was considering 12 wings or more just so I could try different flavors but I settled on an 8 piece combo. Instead of fries I elected fried corn seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Very tasty. For the wings , I chose two flavors I wasn't experienced with: 1st salted egg. This was a very interesting flavor that had a powdery texture but a finish that wasn't overly salty but incredibly flavorful. The 2nd was Buldak & Gochujang and that was sweet and savory with a light touch of heat. These flowers really intensify the perfectly cooked chicken. The presentation was also well placed. I never thought I would give 5 stars to a chicken wing place but anything less would be unfair to the cook/chef and staff of this place. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. My only frustration is ... I'm visiting from Denver so I can't get this place without a flight or 900 mile drive. This will be my stop next time I'm back in Bolingbrook. I wish other wing places trained with this staff as this is how you do it right and this place was off the chain! Well done!!!

But I was pleasantly surprised by the food too. I got the cheeseburger sliders which were really good. Moist, tasty, and the perfect size for a slider. I ordered fries on the side and wasn't expecting the portion size. They gave an entire basket of fries that easily could have fed the party of four adults I was there with. Crispy, flavorful, loved them. The cheese curds were also great, paired with a sauce recommended by the bartender. I wish I could remember what it was, definitely some type of sweet/salty almost teriyaki sauce. So, so good. I don't drink alcohol much so I can't comment on the drinks but everyone we were there with seemed to enjoy them. So much so, they ordered several. Great vibes here. They had the front window open for a beautiful sixty degree day. Music was on. Everyone there both staff and other customers were all really nice and we had a great time. Turns out our bartender was the owner of the bar and he was just fantastic. Attentive but not overly so. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a great place for a drink and a bite to eat.
