Great meal choices for everyone that was in our group. Located near the University, gets a good mix of young and older clientele. We sat in the back garden where there are a number of picnic style wooden tables, most with umbrellas for shade. The garden is decorated with lovely plants and flowers and makes the space that much more pleasant. Dogs are welcome here. Our drinks came put first and the food did not take too long to follow. I ordered a breakfast burrito which easily shared with another person. The particularly liked that the burrito was not soggy and maintained its structure while I ate it. Everything that came out to the table was very well put together and nicely presented. The dishes and cups used were also uniquely picked. I ordered a chai latte and it was perfect, not too spicy. No problem. But during the next ten (!) minutes the person in the car exhibited yearbook pictures to the barista and had an extended convo. After the person's single drink was produced this conversation continued with no sign of finishing. I'm waiting in my car getting more and more pissed at the barista's total cluelessness about customer service. Five minutes after the friend's drink had been delivered, and ten minutes total in waiting, I left. I've never had a bad experience at Jitterbean before this. But if I was a manager I'd sure want to know about this, so I called the company. The woman I talked to transferred me to the managers voicemail. I also sent an email to the addy on their website. Six weeks later I have had no response. I no longer patronize Jitterbean which is a shame as they're local. But they chose, in multiple ways, to treat a loyal customer poorly. Super disappointed
