Exact same issues here as with most places in the Detroit area, you have one or two kids busting their butts taking care of customers and doing THEIR JOB, and then the rest are zombies barely moving who could give two craps about you. This is not a Culvers issue only, drive thru visit today for one sandwich and a shake sitting in line after paid for 25 minutes, go inside to see packed lobby full of upset customers taking it out on two white girls who were the only ones actually helping them while 8 other employees were doing nothing, leaving those two kids to take all the frustration from the customers because of those employees not doing their job!!! on Saturday, June 28 I was here on for an event and went through drive through. We waited 30 minutes for order. When we returNed to the hotel we discovered the order was wrong and inedible. we requested no tomatoes or mayonnaise on our sandwiches and they contained both. Also the bread was BURNT! we spoke the the manager who asked us to return and they will remake the butterburger and when we returned to the restaurant they refused to remake. I ordered a door dash order the person had been waiting there for 30 minutes so I messaged him and he had no clue but knew the store had accepted the order I call the store 1 hour after I placed the order the young lady on the phone said please hold I will get the manager after 15 minutes on hold I decided to hang up to see my order was cancelled by the dasher. I paid about $6 for this, for it not to be mixed is disappointing. I understand if it's the candies or add ins, but the flavoring I expect a little bit more. The custard also had a gummy consistency and chalky, something was not right with the mix. I don't think I'll be back for quite a while. Don't ever, ever play in my face like that again. I come here all the time despite living 15 minutes away. Today, i came through around 2pm and ordered 2 ice creams and 2 cheese curds. It was fine, but dang-you'd think 4 things wouldn't be more than 20? Nope 30+ dollars to start off with. So, I don't eat and drive because I'm trying to be responsible for once and I get home... neither of the ice creams are anywhere near full. It's HEATH bar -_- I specifically asked for oreo and Reeces, all things that won't affect my filling. I came back roughly an hour ago- mind you I just worked a 5 1/2 hour shift, so l really don't want to drive 15 minutes out of the way to drive 15 minutes back home, but I do because god forbid a girl wants her ice cream made right. I get there and of course, the guy at the window is making me want to gouge my eyes out being rude. ONCE AGAIN, I just worked my own customer service job being nice to everyone and putting on my fake smile. He tells me I have to go bring the messed up ice cream or the receipt back, I try to show him the apple pay transaction and ofc he wants to catch an attitude saying he needs peace of mind that it's actually wrong. I mean, this place! I was pleasantly surprised by the shrimp dinner. The shrimp is butterflied, lightly battered and fried. It was surprisingly tasty! The shrimp cocktail sauce is mild with a hint of horseradish. I tend to not order salads from fast food style restaurants, so I was again pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the salads. The lettuce is a fresh spring mix with appropriately ripened veggies. I love the French dressing! Of course, you can't go wrong with any of the custard options! My favorite is the salted caramel concrete mixer with brownie. Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed! Also, during this pandemic, they have both a drive thru and a walk up option for ordering. The food is good but I think the menu is inconsistent. I've been to Culver's many times over the years. The custard of the day or whatever varies by location. You can only get chocolate or vanilla, every single day. It's 2024. The toppings are stale for the frozen custard a lot of the times. They wear gloves to collect money and handle cards at every single location I've been to (~8 locations). That's a nasty habit to teach to employees. I don't want my card, change, or drink handed to me with whatever mess is on those gloves. Please stop that. read more

Have been to other Culver's locations and have to say I like Culver's a lot. But as this being a new location I would say to wait a few Weeks before eating here. They have a lot of service issues they need to work out. For example, I placed a carryout order for burgers and frozen custard. The burgers take a little time to make. The food was sloppy when we got the milkshake it was to liquidy and it made a mess and it was to salty and hurt my teeth and my stomach.

Overall I like this restaurant. Are they always accurate? No. But mostly they are and none of the restaurants are anymore. However the quality of the food is always consistent and the wait for this busy location is an acceptable amount of time. The staff is friendly and there are many younger workers who bring out your food who have a pep in their step. It can be pricey but the food is always fresh that I receive and tastes really good. Had the Walleye dinner today with mashed Potatoes and Cole slaw with a side of Shrimps. I didnt enjoy the Walleye as much as i wanted to or expected to. Its pretty greasy which after eating the first piece i started to not feel so good from all the grease so i wasn't able to finish my food. The batter on the fish is thick and its presented very nicely i think im just more of a cornmeal batter person. The cole slaw was a different story it was really good the mashed potatoes was just ok the gravy was decent. Im going to try the cod next. Such a disappointment after supporting this place since opening.  Culver's we have been eating at locations over 30 years,  well that ended after the visit interaction with manager Sean WTF is wrong with you.  I spent 30 years in management to say this guy needs to be FIRED.  After 4 months not receiving coupons since the post office stopped delivering ad's we finally got some.  We usually visit twice each month spending 35 to 40 bucks,  I use a dollar off coupon for a value meal and she always buys two double butter burgers for 6 bucks and adds an extra Patty to make triple butter burgers and then she ordered a triple for daughter and Chili.  We always Love food, the  very best fast food chain ever.  I  made the very first Yelp 5 star review and posted on Google and Instagram to support.  I take and post food photos and tens of thousands see each one, that's all ended now thanks to Sean WTF.  So I ordered then was handed back a dollar off coupon as usual,  she ordered separate register and was handed back a coupon for 2 for 6 bucks double burgers as usual. After setting down wife has question about billing very hard to read,  she approaches the counter to ask question Sean helps her NOT he looks at the receipt and coupon agrees everything is right and then KEEPS COUPON telling her NO you can't have it back after it was already given back on original order WTF. So she's really upset since this has been this location's way of getting customers back.  Sean then delivering food to our table I inform him you're wrong to treat a customer like this.  I  tell him what I've done to send you hundreds of customers,  he doesn't give a shit I know Market Manager and Owner Gerry. He assured me, so what the market manager reports to me.  No Sean you now report to me as thousands will see what a butt head you be. I actually like Culver's, But not tonight so much. I asked for extra onions on my double butter burger and got five little pieces. If that was extra, what would regular have been? But the burger itself was good. The other problem was with the stuffed pepper soup. Basically it was just tomato and rice. I have to say, I was impressed when I visited this location. The first thing I noticed was that I was greeted when I walked in the door. I'm not royalty, I don't need my presence go be announced, but it was nice to be welcomed in. All the employees had on crisp, fresh uniforms and they all were smiling. Not the forced, I hate this but I need to make a living smile, they seemed genuinely happy. The service was excellent and not just for a fast food joint. It was genuinely good. I was served by a young man named Christian who noticed that I told my toddler she couldn't have her ice cream until she eats her food and offered to put it in the cooler for me. It was a nice gesture that I really appreciated bc trying to tell a toddler she can t have ice cream is akin to torture, for both me and her. Food was brought out quickly and was very fresh. This Culver's location is quite typical for what you'd expect out of a Culver's. Definitely a better fast food choice than the other fast food joints in the area. The food always comes out fresh (the chicken tenders are second to none) and the service is always top notch. There is also a nice variety of stuff you can order off the menu. The lineup for drive-thru looked long at first glance but was moving very quickly. The staff will also have you park in a dedicated drive-thru lot and will deliver your food right to your car when it's ready, which is great. It's also easy to get in and out of unlike the location in Taylor. I'll definitely be back at this location. read more
