The other empty tables were only for 2 or 4. Again, empty, so the place was not super busy. It has been dirty awhile. After sitting awhile, these guys literally bussed their own table, wiped it down and found some menus nearby. Update...it's now 610p. No food. Drinks are dry. Not even a check in nor eye contact from the server. She seems more invested in chatting with another table than waiting on her customers or not even being in the section. An older gentleman from a nearby table comes over to us and states to me, 'you have a lot more patience than me. I would've complained big time by now'. So we wait more. The group were the gentleman was sitting is gathering to leave. Apparently they say something to their server, different than ours, and she states loudly and rudely, 'listen, I hear you but I've got 15 tables and I've tried helping her'. She gets loud and states that she will get the manager. The manager never comes. We ask the other server to se the manager. The manager finally comes, mind you, not quickly. Tell her what is stated in this review. The other table's comments. The table that had to clear and wipe their table and the other server feeling pressured. She stated our ticket shows that our food was brought out 40 mins ago. She also made comments, as if to defend herself, about the kitchen. I stated firmly, this is not a kitchen issue. This is a server and overall disorganization issue. She agreed and it is evident since the kitchen shows the ticket closed 40 mins ago. She promised to expedite our order. Nothing extravagant; 2 meatloaf specials and a Rueben. Nothing that takes extra time to prepare. And again we wait. While the manager is more focused being behind the bar dealing with carry out bags. What I just described seems to happen more and more. Food shoveled out and service is inconsistent. Let me say, not all the servers. Last week, Wednesday dinner at the tall tables at the bar, service and food were spot on. Disgusted, we leave. Drinks dry, no food. In the aforementioned, I stated we were semi-regulars. My hope is the owners see this review and understand this is not a one off review from someone who tried the place once. The server was bad. I mean bad. The entire place appeared disorganized. I am hugely into giving my money to small business. I dislike chains of any kind. But just because I, as well as others, are invested in patronizing small businesses, does not mean that we should tolerate bad service, bad behavior and not delivering on your product.
