Decided to check this place out after we checked into our hotel. The menu was so huge! Lots of choices. It was really busy. We waited about 25 minutes for our food. Shame on our for not checking the bag. Got to our hotel and noticed one sandwich was missing. Drove back there and they were closed. Had to bang on the door until a customer came to open it for me. Food is mediocre, typical fast food quality. The last few times when we went through the drive thru, the woman taking our order was extremely rude. She talked down to us for not knowing what their burgers are named. The second time, she was rude and sighed when we asked a question. When we got to the window, I asked the employee who took our order and she said that her name was Tina. The food isn't worth dealing with Tina's attitude. We won't be back. read more

We had spent time in the NE, and I had summered in Rochester, NY, so when I saw custard I knew we had to try it! Earlier in the week I stopped by and got just a simple Vanilla custard. Okay, Culver's has best I've had in 10 years. So today, brought the better half to try it, but wanted to try their"Butter Burgers" and their Walleye fish. I'm the burger guy, and the Bacon Burger was just wonderful. Their frys are very good. Yes, its kind of fast food, but more great burger shop. I'm not sure why they have the drive through. My husband and I went to Culver's for lunch today. I've eaten at one in Wisconsin and it was very good. However, that was many years ago. This Culver's has a drive-thru like every other fast food place. We went inside and there was a menu board and a counter, again like every other fast food place. I got a Reuben and my husband got some kind of burger. We got our number, poured our drinks, and found a table. Our food arrived quickly. The fries were good. The Reuben had a tiny bit of sauerkraut on it, pretty much only on one half. My husband's double bacon cheeseburger had the bacon hanging off it and the cheese wasn't melted. He had to rearrange the sandwich to eat it. The place was a step above McDonald's. The food was ok but nothing I'm going to go out of my way to get. Meh. read more

I stopped in after I saw this place rated as the Best Burger in town...it was convenient at 4pm on a Sunday...The ISSUE is that many of the very young servers and counter staff, looking about 18-25 years old, ...are not covering their noses and/or mouths. My server, was delivering perfectly fine food to my table with a naked nose. I asked him to please cover his nose if he is coming near me, he apologized profusely, and did so. Then I saw 2 more non-fully masked young men and decided to speak with the young woman Manager on my way out. In the midst of our conversation, the bouncer, a beefy type young man at the door, interrupted us, and told me that if I didn't like the way it was, I probably shouldn't come back. I had already mentioned the full masking mandate, currently in effect in NC until Nov 30, to the Manager, wasn't sure the bouncer would understand, so I finished my conversation with her, and left. Yes, I fully understand that I don't have to come back...no problem. I do not intend to return. Definitely would come back, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, and the seating was surprisingly clean. The bathroom seats were stable enough for my mondo plopper, that menacingly thrusted out of my innards, having dwelled deep within my cavity for quite some time. They messed up our order and when my son went in to get it fixed they had people stacked behind us and the lady behind us got mad and the employee came up and wasn't very nice with his comment and I would guess it was because the lady was a nasty human ... but for him to come up and tell us if we were going to eat in our car there we had to move was uncalled for. When it comes to fast food- Culver's is the bomb- welcome to the south! It may cost you a little more than what you pay at McDonald's or Burger King, but this is worth the extra coin. Get the "butter burger" I make mine a double with cheese! They also offer a senior discount ....The custard ice cream treats are always wonderful, and they offer a special one each day. I've been here a couple times for ice cream only and have never been disappointed! I love the Concrete Mixers which is ice cream with your choice of two mix-ins (candy or sauces). The drive thru is fast and there is ample seating outside. Employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and serving sizes are hearty. We are from California and we heard that Culver's had good burgers that were as delicious as In N Out. You can certainly taste the freshness and the staff even offered our dog a pup cup. Came through drive through just before closing and received super dry burger and cold fries. Came the following day to request a refund or have it remade since I've not had a problem before but that's when things went south. The insensitive incompetent rude cocky manager Jeremy who wielded his status as the owners son in law basically told me to pound sand. This is the worst management in the history of fast food. I feel sorry for the employees or any other customers that ever have a problem because they clearly don't care about providing a quality product or experience. The fact that I am Black may or may not have anything to do with it, but it felt like it probably did. Avoid this place. Adding this part after hearing from Jeremy's equally insensitive father in law. Received an email from someone I presume is the father In law and he basically implied I was lying. Our families first time here..... very happy. Anyways the cheese curds are amazing...the mushroom Swiss was awesome. Fries are perfectly cooked. They have their own root beer, it's very good. The kids meals are large and come with custard and a topping. This place is a bit pricey but the food is well worth it. It only took 5 min and our food arrived. The only thing that didn't blow me away was the chili cheese fries. The chili isn't the style I prefer on fries. The manager was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back. read more

We visited this store on Sunday night, and ordered the "limited time" sweet potato fries. Simply put, they were burned and cold. When I asked the manager Dan to replace them, he refused telling me "That's how they look, if I give you more, they'll be the same. He then very quickly dismissed me from his presence with the sanctimonious "Have a nice day." Dan made no effort to offer any solution. No offer to even acknowledge my complaint. I'm guessing it's a common issue, and employees are just tired of having to address it. Over cooked food, combined with horrendous customer service rates less than one star. For a new restaurant to the community, it's obvious the owners don't care about goodwill or long term success. I won't come back, and I encourage everyone to consider my experience before patronizing this failing eatery.
