    No meat on burger

Would leave a zero if I could. Worst management ever. Refused to give district or higher managements phone number. Completely forgot the hamburger on my double cheeseburger. Didn't realize till I got home. Takima or however you spell the "managers" name should be fired. Rude drive thru employees told me I had to come back inside for her to speak to me. Laughed in my face and wouldn't let me speak to her till i insisted. Manager said " you didn't tell me you were bringing your daughter that's why I said to come inside". Took my box back and put the fresh hamburger on top of the bun I had already touched and opened after 30 minutes.

    Menu as of 7/26/25.

Culver's is new to Beaufort and has only been here since May 2025. I see people rave about different Culver's across the U.S. on Yelp and had to try it. We only got the custard so I can't comment on the other food. The place is clean and well decorated which was nice. Unfortunately, we stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged for almost ten minutes and only then because I made a comment to my wife loud enough for the man behind the counter to hear us. Anyway, my wife ordered a hot fudge sundae with heath bars and I ordered a Turtle sundae. Thirty minutes later we get our order expect my wife has a shake with no hot fudge and almost more heath bars than custard. My Turtle sundae had at least a half cup of pecans and made the sundae almost inedible. I could barely taste custard. I posted a picture with this review of what a Turtle sundae is supposed to like (from Culver's website) and also a couple the sundae I had from this location. With the heavy handedness of the employees not adhering to standards, I seriously doubt this place will last very long unless they get their act together. Their COGS must be insanely high. Retraining and competent new management would fix it fast.

We could have a very enjoyable conversation. I first ordered their special mojito but it was not what I was expecting. So I sent it back and ordered a gimlet. That was better, although the drink was a bit tart... not sure if brand or quantity of lime juice was the issue. I ordered the salmon, at 120-125 degree temp... well it was still cooked medium instead of medium rare. Tasted good. No sauce, which I asked for. But too salty... unnecessarily salty. I will try again but order RARE and see if they can cook to temp. The roasted potatoes were delicious, but for someone who watches oil intake... way too much oil was used. But I loved the way they smashed them a bit. The vericot verts were cooked to perfection and not salty. Yummy. My husband ordered the grilled tuna. He said his was great. So next time, I may order tuna instead. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

I don't know why I write this because most people don't read them anyway…read more After a hiatus of four years, hoping for the old five guys, I once again tried to find a good hamburger...I love good burgers. I wasn't again disappointed at the expensive place! A family of four- thirty-five to fifty dollars for a meal! Outrageous. Ironically, the cook, smashed all the juice out of the burger, leaving it try. Then he piles all the condiments in the middle of the sandwich, patties off the side of the bun, tons of lettuce! It really doesn't take much to build a good burger but not at this five guys. The place was empty, clean....wonder why! The best part of our dinner was the fries-good. Burger King has a better flavored burger at a much cheaper price. If not for a corporate ownership, this place would be closed.

A double smashed cheeseburger with everything, small fry and a Diet Coke came to over $23 bucks! My husband and I split this meal as the portion size could easily feed two. The staff was humming when we walked in, everyone was busy taking and preparing orders. It seemed like a pretty well oiled machine considering this location just opened. No question, Five Guys knows how to do burgers and fries. The meat was juicy and the toppings were incredibly fresh tasting. It was a big and messy undertaking to take a bite but worth it. The fresh cut russets are always good but this time they were exceptional - Beautifully browned, crispy and full of potato flavor. No doubt quality ingredients but the prices... hmmm a bit hard to swallow.
