I try not to eat too much fast food, but sometimes I want crispy chicken strips, french fries or maybe a burger. This is the place to go! The food doesn't taste fake, like other burger chains. I went here on a Thursday because I wanted a burger, and my hopes weren't too high for a burger chain. I was totally surprised at how delicious it was! The price is right too! This is the best quality burger to grab when you don't want to go to "other" quality burger joints and spend $15. I spent under $10 and got chicken tenders, fries and a burger. The reason why im giving this establishment 5 stars is for their outstanding customer service! We come here numerous times for the custard and every single time the customer service here is excellent. Everyone has great mannerism, great customer service skills and are super friendly. This place is nice and clean when we come here and every employee that comes across us always greets us or asks us how we are doing. This is what makes people want to come back to an establishment. I haven't had culvers in an LOONNGG time. I ordered the original butter burger with cheese and also the flavor of the day chocolate eclair. They were AMAZING. I was pretty disappointed with my experience here today. They screwed up my order. I would like to first of all say that everyone in there was very polite and well mannered. For the most part, I think they're all really good kids. However, other than the manager they didn't seem all that focused. I ordered a 3 patty butterburger with grilled onions and onions rings and 1 scoop of the devils food cake frozen custard. They completely forgot to put the frozen custard in the bag and they didn't get the grilled onions in the burger. I get that everyone makes mistakes but I do think someone needs to emphasize the importance of less socializing and more focusing on orders when you're working to the people working there. There was alot of talking going on and they weren't focused. I did call and let them know about the frozen custard that I paid for. I asked if they contracted with any 3rd parties like uber eats/grub hub where they could get me my custard. The best they could do is have me drive all the way back in or credit me 2 scoops for the next time I come in. That's not good enough. What they don't get is it's not about the money, it's about the inconvenience. read more

5$ meal deal. Is a ok value. You get a decent size burger and fry with this tiny drink. Upgrade the drink and your good to go. There shakes and mixers are the best. There cheese curds are so good. This is one of the worst Culver's I have ever been to. It smells like dirty feet. I am supposed to order my food and enjoy it when it smells like dirty feet? Tried this Culvers for the first time, this one not nearly as good as the one in Lyons. My wife ordered a double cheeseburger plain with no veggies and I ordered a single. We both got singles...luckily charged for singles. We both had a pickle on top of the bun....what part of plain no veggies did they not understand???? Most of my visits here have been pleasant experiences, however, last night I stopped in to buy 2 quarts of custard and the young man waiting on me decided it was my responsibility to bag the quarts. Not sure how that works but maybe it was because he was too busy trying to see what was happening in the drive through area. In contrast to the Downer's Grove and Darien Culver's this place is terrible. Food quality is poor and they give you a McDonald's quality level concrete mixer. The concrete mixer is $6 and a McFlurry is about $2. They have a manager there named Fabiola or Faviola and she is a total #$%$$ and ownership doesn't care. I will never go there again. read more

I went there because i have a few friends that work in this establishment and i wanted to support them. I was surprised by the lack if professionalism. I went on the 21st of April. This lines were reasonable for a lunch time meal. I ordered and got my number. I waited 25 minutes for what is supposed to be "under 5 minutes to make" according to my employee friends. I went up to ask when my food was going to arrive and i found that the order had not been put in. I recognized the manager as he was surveying the room and his response was "sorry, she [the cashier] must have had too much 420 yesterday". the service as well as the professionalism is a disgrace. i wont be going there any time soon. read more

I like Culver's and when i found out that they were going to open up a restaurant near my house, I was really excited. Too bad the food turned out to be bad. This wasn't just on one occasion. Over the first year that the place was open i tried the food three times and it was terrible each time although I did notice that the quality started to get better. As of current it looks like the quality issues are much improved. the food is passable for the chain but nothing to rave about. read more

Spent $17 for 2 meals included 2 deluxe burgers, lg fries, lg onion ring, small soda and lg milkshake. Waited 15 minutes for food. Noting at least 12 employees, busy but NOT incredibly busy. Food delivered minus milkshake. "Machine was being maintained". Fries and Onion rings were not even warm. Took them back to counter to ask for hot orders. Waited 5 minutes went to count. still not ready. 5 minutes later still no return of fries, onion rings or milkshake. went to counter. A lady "Adella"? was there, I noted what appeared to be in the window. I asked if our order was ready yet as we already ate our burgers. She looked puzzled I stated, "the order was cold and I sent them back". She replied, "Our food is always fresh and hot". I said, "maybe sometimes- but ours was not even warm". She had a very harsh attitude. gave me my fries and onion ring order- no milkshake. I went back to our table and observed many milkshakes being delivered. Then noted a gentleman staring at me leaning against the serving counter. This man proceeded to our table with the milkshake and without introducing himself, sat next to me and i proceeded to tell him I was there one other time- when they first opened and it too was a bad experience- but thought i would give it another try, as it was new. He reply was not of an apology but stated, "well Honey, if I were you I would not come back here again". MInd you I did not raise my voice or act out in any way. I did however say, "Please do not call me Honey". He then said, "like I said if I were you I wouldn't come back" he then walked away, stared from counter again then came back to the table and said, " I need you to finish your food, get out and do not EVER return, you offended my wife and I called the police to trespass you" dumbfounded, I looked at my companion who is 58 years old. I am 50. we did not reply except, "OK, that is fine". we cleared our table and walked out. This man stated I am the owner. He then came from around the counter, followed us to our vehicle and took down our license tag number. I went on to the website to express my experience this man called me, "stating I called the police on you, I replied good, I would like to file a harassment charge, I ended the call stating I believe he has an anger management issue. (Call recorded). and that I would not feed into him. Is this the policy of Culvers and Franchise owners? I am in management with strong focus on customer service- I would not only be appalled at the treatment of someone as we were treated. But, they would be terminated. The service was top notch. I don't know any other fast food restaurant that can compare. Everyone greeted me with a smile. I ordered a burger (of course) and the green beans. I have never seen fresh green beans on a fast food menu so I assumed they were fried. The server saw my disappointment and asked if I wanted to change it for a different side. My fries were at my table in a minute. The burger was real meat no filler. My cousin wasn't impressed with her grilled chicken sandwich. She thought it was mediocre. I have no complaints. It was a little a pricey, but you get what you pay for :) Also, a local artist did all of the paintings in the restaurant. I came to purchase a chicken dinner and one scoop of the frozen custard flavor of the day. The chicken dinner was excellent! The fries were also very good, and the green beans were decent but not bad. But the problem was, I ordered a scoop of the flavor of the day (caramel pecan) but when it arrived, I noticed there was literally NO caramel on it whatsoever. It was just vanilla with pecans. I have this problem every time I get the flavor of the day, as at least one of the toppings is missing. To put it simply, it sucks. I would recommend avoiding the flavor of the day altogether and just get a sundae, as they actually put toppings on sundaes. read more
