We were greeted by the staff as we walked in. My wife placed the order and the staff was very friendly and got the order right on the first try. Spent 40 on a fish dinner and chicken sandwich meal. Requested tartar sauce, only eat fish with tartar. Received 4 cocktail sauces not one tartar. Threw the fish away. Spoke with "one" of the managers who offered a "slight " discount on my next order. No worries there won't be a next order. I have been to the new location in Bradley, Il twice since it has opened. The first time I ordered enough for for 6 adults and once I got home I found they had forgotten a whole burger. The second time I went there I ordered 4 baskets, for 4 adults and they forgot two of my fries. Every time we order from this location they forget part of our order. We ordered $125 worth of food and they left out our shrimp from our shrimp dinner, and only gave us the sides. I called them and they said they couldn't do anything about it. We placed our order through Uber Eats and they said they no longer take phone calls and refused to help us in the app. So we paid $23 for onion rings, and pretzel bites since the forgot our shrimp. read more

I love Culver's, but this location just can't seem to get it together. Every time I come here, and I mean EVERY TIME, my order is wrong. I've ordered a sourdough melt, and got one with no burger pattys. I've ordered a butter burger with onion and mustard, and got one with mayo and pickles. Ask for honey mustard, get BBQ sauce. I hate to leave the bad review, but this isn't rocket science. It's hamburgers. I frequent the Tinley Park Culver's and I have never had any issues there. Maybe it's the management here, maybe it's the inexperienced staff. Who knows. But something's got to change here, or customers (like me) are going to stop coming. read more

I used to love Culver's, but not so much anymore. I got the single butter burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and no bun. I got a burger with ketchup, lettuce and cheese on a bun. I ordered the new loaded steamed broccoli that comes with cheese, bacon and sour cream. I got broccoli with bacon and a package of sour cream. When I got to the bottom of the broccoli, I could see some very watered down cheese sauce. Just a hint. It didn't even make the bottom of the bowl yellow. The service was good, the ice machine was empty, the tables were not cleaned off (we had to look around for a clean one) and the floor under our table was sticky. I could forgive all this at the height of dinner service, but we got there at 430pm and the dining room was nearly empty. read more

First let me say I love Culvers. The Cod dinner is my favorite but the whole menu is great. The kids that work there are fantastic. That being said yesterday was a cluster flop. It seems your computer crashed and took out the registers. There was a kid with a tablet who tried to take orders but it wouldn't work either. They said I could order with my phone but I couldn't pay with cash, only card. I reluctantly put all the info in the phone app but it wouldn't work either. Even though I'd entered every required I kept getting an "information missing" message Employees confirmed nothing was missing but app still wouldn't take my order. I did not get my Atlantic Cod dinner. I finally got frustrated and left. You need some way to override the computers so you can use the cash drawers. Maybe take orders on paper if you have to. Do some math. Add up the order, figure out the tax, then move on. Relying on technology will lead to trouble. The kids working there would have learned something as well. read more

This one is a little different though in that it is firmly in Bears country with their Olivet Nazarene summer training camp facilities nearby. I've always loved Culver's but about 5 days ago I showed up through the drive-thru and was a few minutes late past closing. I'm not 100% certain what the employee said but she extremely rude and hollered something at me before she threw up a peace-sign and shut the drive thru window on me. . Would not recommend!! The food here is complete garbage, tastes and feels like a TV dinner that was cooked for too long, past expiration date, and has lost all its flavor. My sourdough melt was completely saturated with grease/oil to the point where it was dripping (green beans were soggy and soaked in butter as well) and I friend and I both got a headache afterwards just from eating. That being said, the service is always top notch and the custard is really, really good and varied. So for a lunch/dinner place it's horrible bar-none. But as a dessert place? It actually rocks, so I'll take it for that. read more

Let me start by saying the staff is very nice, which is why they are getting the 3 stars. Culver's is our go to place for a quick bite to eat. The last maybe 4 or 5 times we have been there, they constantly forget my bacon on my bacon deluxe. This last time it was the bacon, plus a side of fries and cheese sauce that I had paid for. They are apologetic and will correct it. But it's becoming a chronic problem. read more

I've previously had very positive experiences at this Culver's location. The food and service was always excellent. The best in the area even. Last night was a completely different experience however. While my boyfriend's burger was "okay", I was thoroughly disappointed with my Sourdough Melt. I opted to add bacon, was charged for it, and it was not on my sandwich. The sourdough was flat, greasy and completely lacking in flavor, and the burger patty itself was maybe 1/3 the size of the bread. So my sandwich consisted of mostly greasy, flavorless bread. Then, the cups of Wisconsin Cheddar dipping cheese that we ordered for our large orders of fries were barely 1/4 of the way full. Almost a dollar for only enough cheese for not even half of our orders of large fries? Culver's is not cheap. But we have splurged and eaten there in the past because the food was always fantastic. I don't know what happened last night, but I'll definitely be thinking twice about ordering food from this location again. Btw I saved pictures of my receipt and the cheese cups. Culver's is Culver's, its slower and greasy 'fast' food, but BOY is it good. This location is typically clean and the staff is courteous, the speed at this location is about norm compared to others. If you are thinking that you are going to hit the drive through to save time, you are better off going inside. Every time, and I mean EVERY time the drive through has been a Charlie Foxtrot, but that is a Culver's standard that does not only effect this location but many, usually it has nothing to do with the staff at all, its the way they have you pull up and park to wait for your order with people not seeing the little signs or the parking lot markings and parking any and every which way that always gets the drive through gridlocked. Each and every time my husband and I go to Culver's in Bourbonnais, it's great. But, what I really want to address is the service! The service is refreshing. The folks working at the Bourbonnais store are GENUINELY polite and helpful. If you have a concern, they have a concern and address it promptly. I can't say enough about them. I never leave a review on a "fast food restaurant" but Culver's deserves it. They really do have outstanding customer service. A lot of kids (especially now because of covid relief money) are not working these types of positions... What I see from the kids working here is amazing. They all work very hard and as busy as the line gets (and it's always busy) they make it work. I have eaten there many times and had only had one screw up with the order... I brought it back in and got a free custard for my trouble... They did not have to do that and yet they did... All I wanted was an apology and the food I ordered. Culver's to me is fast food, but with customer satisfaction focus. (Unlike the McDs, BK, and all the other fast foods that are world wide.) Most importantly, the food is a higher quality. Everything is always made fresh to order, and I have not had a bad meal yet at this location. Cheese curds are delicious here and the new Wisconsin cheese sauce for fries is really good too. Snack pack meals are cheaper than McDs combo meals. If you don't need huge portions, go for the snack pack deal. The food is exactly what you expect from Culvers. Greasy and good. The food was fresh and hot. However, every few minutes the most horrendous sound ever came from the ice machine. My kids had to hold their ears. It sounded like feedback from a speaker and each time it started, it would go on for 2 or 3 minutes. The staff weren't even bothered by it because they were "used to it." Most of the service was alright - one young man was on the rude side and when I finally called him out he did make it a point to apologize. Just get the ice machine fixed! Sooo annoying and painful! I like Culvers. If you look at the pictures in ads for fast food places, the food will look perfect and tasty. The actual product you get is smashed bun limp lettuce that looks nothing like the pictures. Not so for culvers. Totally nice presentation.
