Always go to Taco Bell. This doesn't feel like a fast food joint at all, but it is. You order from the front.. Sit in the back, drive thru, yada yada. But! The quality is astounding! Everything is all Wisconsin cheese and dairy so the cheese and custards are awesome! The burgers are made fresh to order and the beef is great quality. Great to see them finally down here in the Orlando area. Of course with any new place that comes from up north you will be rubbing arm and arm with people. The parking lot I can see being a major headache since it's very small and not really planned out very well and to small for most SUV/Pickup trucks. Which you would think they would know since snowbirds drive those monsters. Just don't drive angry in the parking lot. Or park in Bob Evans lot The seating area is oddly set up. Odd placement of random walls and hidden tables. Since they bring the food to you, one would wonder why you would do such a set up making your employees wonder around looking for your table. The food though is good. Much better then the quality you get at a Burger King or Wendy's. Great variety of selection as well. While other places are trying to cut down their menu. This one has something for everyone and is fresh and not under a heat lamp or heat tray. You will wait for your food but, it's worth it. read more

That is the question Everyone me or my boyfriend knows has been spouting off glorious verbal reviews about Culver's and their excitement about its new Central Florida location, so we drove the 20 miles for... An average steak burger. My boyfriend and I both ordered a butter burger with cheese and bacon, mine was a single with toppings, his a plain double. We both got fries and split an order of cheese curds. The service at Culver's was excellent, and there weren't long lines like I've read in other reviews. The menu is massive, like Cheesecake Factory meets McDonald's massive. So definitely something for all, pork tenderloin sandwhich anyone? I'm also a fan of any establishment that brings you your order. Isn't lazy the theme of fast food? The burgers were tasty, good, but nothing special, and I've had better for the same price at Shula Burger or Shake Shake. Now those cheese curds were a HUGE disappointment. They weren't very hot so the insides were like deep fried blocks of cheese, personally I think Zaxby's white cheddar bites are the exact thing but waaaay better! All in all the question you should really ask is ~ To drive or not to drive. If I lived near there, I'd go back. But If faced with the option again.... I chose not to drive. read more

Filling, fattening, and fantastic! Anything new in Clermont is a draw, and we just moved into a new house nearby, so we decided to try Culver's for lunch. The menu is large and inviting. You order your food at the counter and then sit down and the food is brought out to you. I ordered the Butter-burger deluxe with cheese-curds. My son had the Bacon burger, and my daughter went for the chicken sandwich. Everything was great. The burgers were juicy and delicious, the cheese-curds were very acceptable for fast-food. My daughter enjoyed the chicken sandwich, which I tried and had to admit it was tasty. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the food was delivered, despite the place being packed. The woman at the counter was very pleasant, informing me that I could order cheese-curds with my burger as a combo and save a little money. I also had a chocolate shake, which was very nice. Overall we all agreed that Culver's merited s solid 4-star rating. Totally worth a try, and good enough to come back and try more. read more

He was very nice and gave me everything that I requested for with no issue at all. I would've tipped him, but the boy was so kind he declined the tip. Being from up North. Wisconsin specifically, which is where Culver's started. Driving back from Orlando we took the back roads home back to Gainesville. We were surprised to see a Culvers along the way. Of course we had to pull off and given them a try, I mean it was dinner time and who can pass up good custard ! So the entire group we were with (7 total) went in and tried Culvers (well we had culvers up north just not here in Florida). Their menu is HUGE. Not just burgers, but pot pie, pot roast, pork sandwiches, etc etc along with burgers and shakes. See the pic of their menu I posted, you'll see its HUGE. I chose a mushroom burger with fried cheese curds. Yes folks they have fried cheese curds in FLA !! Love it. It was AWESOME mmm good. When went back for vanilla malt to share with the family for desert. It I could afford to, I would open a Culvers in Gainesville or Ocala. If you're in the area give them a try. My husband has been raving about this place for a while so I was so excited to finally try it out. I really should have done some research before I got there because the menu was so overwhelming! I didn't know where to start, what was most popular or how to order. They have burgers, chicken, fish, salads and custard with a bunch of different candies to add to it! I ordered a cheddar bacon butterburger. You can upgrade your burger to a basket which basically just means it comes with fries and a drink so I did that but switched my drink out for a shake. They also have malts too! Once you've placed your order and paid, they give you a table card and you find a table. They'll bring the food to you! This placed was packed and everyone was eating custard! My burger came and it was amazing!!! It was a greasy flavorful burger on a soft bun. Honestly the first thing I thought was this is the perfect burger when you're hungover! The fries were crunchy and salty like McDonald's but the size of Wendy's. I ate everything! My chocolate shake was so cold, I had to wait till after the meal to start drinking it because it wouldn't come up the straw. But eventually I was able to drink it and it was very creamy! For two burgers, a shake and a concrete mixer (basically a mcflurry with your choice of candies) the total was $22 which I thought was very affordable. Great place- very clean, the employees are courteous and the food is tasty. I recommend trying the cheese curds especially if you like cheese sticks but these are made with cheddar. The burgers are definitely tasty and put together neatly. They aren't slapped together and put on a tray for you to pick up instead you get a number and they bring it right to your table. Hubby ordered a sourdough melt which he throughly enjoyed. It had the right amount onions and the cheese was melted just right. I definitely recommend trying this place out. read more

As a former Michigander, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Culver's. Culver's is all over the midwest and it's been sad times down here in Florida without it. The positives: the food is awesome! Everything I've had is great. I personally think my favorite is the chicken tenders, but you seriously can't go wrong with anything. Also, the frozen custard is amazing too. The negatives: the price is a little much. For two of us it was over $20. I could have eaten at a sit down restaurant for that. The burger, while not exceptional, was fresh...and you get a number in the drive-through because each grill order is custom made. The custard IS exceptional. Also, the drive-through clerks were super friendly, and there are socially-distanced picnic benches which I used to enjoy an outdoor dining experience. We would come here 2-4 times a week for ice cream. Every time we came our order was either messed up, or we waited over 40 minutes. After letting this go multiple times we went the other night in hopes of a good experience. We ordered through the drive through, paid and waited. Come to find out they charged us and then decided 15 minutes later to come outside to tell us they didn't have the flavor ice cream we wanted. We requested we wanted a refund so we were told to proceed and wait through the whole drive through line again so the manager could do it at the window. Once we got back around 20 minutes later the manager was surprised we wanted a refund on the whole order. ( not only one of us was going to get ice cream while the others got none). We then proceeded to tell him that we've let it go multiple times but it's gotten to a point where we needed to say something that we always have a bad experience, whether we wait 40 minutes for ice cream or they mess up half our order and by the time they fix it the Ice cream that was made right is melted. He proceeded to tell us he could give us one free meal coupon and that was it. We told him honestly not to bother and we were going to start to go somewhere else. He said okay sorry about that and shut the drive through door and walked away. Another time we ordered 4 chocolate concrete mixers and the girl game out to our vehicle with all vanilla, we told her they were supposed to be all chocolate. She looked up at us goes "oh" and just walks away. The customer service here is very poor, the drive through is ran by mostly young kids too busy talking or barley engaging even with the costumers. The amount of times we pull up to the window and aren't even spoken to is unaccounted for. Quite sad how downhill this culvers has gone in just the last few months with new employees being there. Sadly this is the only location close to us. Avoid the hassle and poor customer service and get ice cream for your family somewhere else. read more

My husband and I love this location in Clermont, FL and the great food, especially their fish platters and sandwiches. Today, Tuesday 03/02/21 we went there for lunch around 1:30-2:00pm. I saw on the menu board that they had (Northwoods) Walleye fish. Not being familiar with this type fish, we asked what type of fish it was or similar to. No one could explain it to me and thought it funny and laughed that I even asked. They said it's just fish. I ordered it to taste it and it was quite good. When I returned home I looked it up and found that it is a fresh water fish from crystal clear Canadian lakes and reservoirs. It is white, moist and can sometimes have bones. Perhaps management could share this and provide better training to the staff when providing seasonal foods so they don't laugh at the customers or have them choke on a bone. read more

I give most Culver's a solid 4 or 5 out of 5, but not this one. This one seems to nickel and dime you to death. When you get a kid's meal, they charge extra for any toppings if you don't get the flavor of the day. I'm from Illinois and I've visited around 20 Culver's locations and not a single one has ever charged me for 1 topping on a scoop of ice cream. They were also one of the first in Florida to charge a new increased fee to upgrade to cheese curds or onion rings. All the others were $1.30 and this one is $1.70. I'll head to Steak-n-Shake next time. read more

7:30 pm Thursday evening. No excuse for not getting a simple order right. They were not that busy inside and no one was in the drive through. We opted for the drive through. Ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries, 1 shake and a pint of frozen custard. When we got home the shake was wrong and we were short one order of fries. What we did receive was standard fast food fare. I've been to Culver's before in Detroit, and so we've been patiently waiting for this location to open. We went on Friday for lunch. It was very, very busy, and parking was a nightmare. I had the Mushroom & Swiss ButterBurger with onion rings. The mint concrete mixer with oreo is so delish!! Everything came out in a timely manner despite the craziness. There were employees directing traffic flow from the entrance to the counter. Everyone was super friendly. Hopefully the hype will die down over the summer or if not, I'd recommend not going during prime dining hours. read more

My mom is from Minnesota and she got our family hooked on Culver's. After a few bad experiences we refuse to eat at this location. We prefer to give our business to the Winter Garden location.
