I went to high school in Wisconsin (where Culver's is based out of), so when I heard there was a Culver's in Clermont, I made the 30 minute drive out to get food and lots of it. Walking in made me feel young like I was in high school again. The delicious aroma of butter burgers. The blue and white theme. The giant menu. They have everything on their menu from fried chicken to burgers to fried shrimp and fish. The portions are a pretty good size. They offer some pretty awesome sides. I highly recommend the Wisconsin fried cheese curds! They are like mini fried cheese sticks that melt in your mouth! The sweet potato fries are thick cut crinkle fries and delicious too. Once you order, they give you a number and they bring your food to you (you can also order it to go or through the drive thru). When we were finished eating, one of the employees was kind enough to ask if she could clear our trash. Such great service! Don't forget to get some custard after your meal! We finally got to try this place. These burgers are Fantastic! Better than Five Guys? Hmmm, I'm not sure about that yet. From the bun, to the meat & cheese, we really have no complaints as far as that goes. I also really enjoyed the cheese curds. My only issue was that they no longer carry marinara sauce (red sauce) to dip the cheese curds in. Can someone please explain that logic to me? We will definitely return. read more

The food is amazing. We live in a different county but stop by whenever we pass through Clermont. The food and custard are all great and seem to be oozing of quality. Don't let the thinness of the burgers fool you. They are still delicious. I love just a classic double cheeseburger and fries with a concrete mix. It does have a bit of a crowd and the over-all set up is weird. There's really no line system for the registers so you walk in and idly stand around until a register is open and then you take a number and sit at a table and wait. read more

My only real complaint about this place is the drive-thru. I understood giving people a number and having them pull around when they first opened. You are busy and trying to keep up, I get it. However, I have since been there after things have slowed and only 1-2 cars behind me. They still make me pull up instead of serving me at the window like other restaurants. So decided to see what all the talk was about. Turns out it was not promising. Portions are small and prices are not proportionate. There are several other non-chain food places that are much better in the quality, and price. Ok, so I tried it again alomst a year later. Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. Would give 5 stars to the best fast food place in Florida but they clearly need an employee break space. One big rule in this business is never allow your workers to lounge around in guest area. Burgers if they are hot are good, I have gotten absolutely cold ones a couple times. Service is good, people are friendly, ice cream is good. So my coworkers were raving about Culvers and how excited they were to finally have one in Central Florida, Clermont to be exact. In one of my days off, I took the drive to see what the hype was all about. Upon entering, I noticed that the dining room was full and there were no tables available. I was able to walk right up to the register and order. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with cheese curds and my mom had the mushroom and Swiss burger with onion rings.Once we ordered, we were given a number and to my surprise, had to wait in a line just for seating ( that has never happened while eating in a casual dining restaurant). We waited out turn for about 5 minutes and finally a table. The only good thing is that our food came out right after. My burger was just ok. It's a butter burger, but didn't taste any different from a regular steak burger in my opinion. The cheese curds were tasty though. My mom, who loves a good burger, thought hers was just okay as well. I will say that the employees were all friendly and they did a great jobs clearing tables quickly. I'm not sure that I would make the drive out there again, but if I was in the area and it was suggested, I wouldn't be opposed to trying something different ( they have a wide variety on their menus). Delicious fast food better than Burger King McDonalds or Wendy's. The root beer soda was the BEST I've had in years the food selection is great the burger with Swiss cheese was a little on the salty side for my taste but the cheese balls battered onion rings and French fries were superior the milk shake was just ok Steak n Shakes much better didn't taste the ice cream but it looked good. The only problem was that the building and parking are in the small side. Support Staff needs to be a bit friendlier and smile . I spoke to the Manager on duty Sunday at about 1:30pm she had excellent customer service was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this to everyone and will visit again. One thing hours of operation closing time needs to be extended for late nights expect a little wait food cooked to order I don't mind the wait for quality! read more

The restaurant is VERY clean!! All the staff is very nice and welcoming. Probably the best shake I have ever had. The burgers and cheese curds are also amazing. The only problem we encountered when we first went was that my friend ordered a concrete ice cream and they didn't bring it to us with the food, after waiting for about twenty minutes I went up to the counter and let them know what was going on. The staff apologized profusely and made it right in front of me. So overall, great food, clean atmosphere, wonderful service and very quick customer recovery!! The food was pretty good the wait for the food was fairly short but after finishing our meal we had went back to order some milkshakes to go and we waited for thirty minutes for the milkshakes. We gave them our receipt and the assistant manager kept pushing it aside even after another employee have him the cups and said we have been waiting for a while and to make them but he kept shaking his head "NO" and kept pushing our receipt aside. We had to get the actual manager to make our shakes. I don't know if we will be going back in the future at least for ice cream. read more
