I ordered a deluxe with cheese ketchup , now deluxes are supposed to have cheese and this one was supposed to have ketchup. I received a dry burger with none of those. So I brought it up and voiced my concerns and they didn't apologize and seems sympathetic, they asked for my receipt and I gave it to them. They then replaced my burger, but this burger game with cold unmelted cheese and no ketchup. No apologies and no sympathy, I expect better from a Culvers read more

Of course I had to try the famous Curdburger! Ugh. It was a bit disappointing though. Super squished thin curd patty. Not sure if it was end of night or what. We did a drive thru order around 8:30pm. Tasted mostly of fried breading. Also got the spicy chicken sandwich. That was really good. Spice level on point. Ended our order with a chocolate cake concrete mixer. That was pretty good. Service was fine. Ambiance is fine as I've eaten inside before and it's like other Culver's. One thing to mention because I will never forget is the roast beef sandwich. I ordered that before and it was the worst item for the price. Meat tasted good, but there was hardly any in the sandwich. I was a bit blown by the execution...more bread than protein. I was so excited to try it, but remember being so disappointed by the roast beef sandwich. There was hardly any roast beef! One other note is sometimes the buns on the burgers at this location seem....not that fresh. You can tell by the color and bounciness of the bun. I used to be the MSL for Bimbo Bakery and know fresh buns. The RSL and store manager should swap out the old buns at this location or keep a better eye on the freshness more. We come here often when the family needs a quick dinner and the food is consistently good. Kids love the burgers, and I love the fish fillets. And the kids love hanging out with friends here after a band or choir concert. But, I need to tell you about the great customer service I received today. We had purchased a To Go order from their app. Food was good, but they forgot the frozen custard. So I drove back to the store to explain, and the kind lady at the register said, "We're so sorry you had to drive back here again. Would you like a pint of Frozen Custard for the inconvenience?" What an awesome show of understanding the impact to me while making an offer to make up for it... now I'm a customer for life. Great job, Culver's! read more

To this day, I have never had Dairy Queen in Minnesota. In Rochester, my local DQ was less than a five-minute drive from my home. Why have I never dropped by a DQ in this state? My chosen place for frozen custard, specifically shakes made with it, was and is Culver's. You have not lived until you have visited Culver's. The burgers and fries are incredible. Pair it with a shake and you can die happy. Funny how I will choose a Wisconsin-based eatery over DQ, which is based in Bloomington, MN. After spending a few hours shopping at the Eagan Outlet Mall, I needed to grab some dinner. I did a search and found this Culver's fairly close to my hotel. I went through the drive-thru to place my order. I got what seems to be my usual: a mushroom swiss butterburger with crinkle-cut fries. I substituted the fountain drink in the combo for a raspberry shake. The man taking my order was friendly and competent. I headed to the window to pay for my order. I handed him my credit card. He commented on how cool the graphic was, which was a cassette tape. I agreed with him. I pulled up by the side of the restaurant to wait for my order. There was a vehicle ahead of me doing the same thing. In the past, you used to get a physical number given that you place on your window so that the person with your order knows which vehicle to deliver it to. During this pandemic, it's now a sticky note with your number that's stuck to your side mirror. I like it. The wait didn't seem to long for a cheerful woman to hand me my food and shake. I was so happy. I thanked and wished her a nice evening, and drove back to the hotel. I was so looking forward to dinner and it didn't disappoint. The mushroom swiss butterburger was awesome. The sauteed mushrooms with swiss cheese always make me happy. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth yummy, juicy, and flavourful. The bun was lightly toasted and perfect. I love the crinkle-cut fries here. They are consistent. Lightly salted. Crispy on the outside and creamy inside. Yes! I am drooling thinking about the food and shakes. The raspberry shake was so good. I love how creamy and full of raspberry flavour this shake had. Culver's is my favourite shake place. So much goodness. I can't wait to return and stop drooling. (466) read more

I was celebrating Chinese New Year at Bonchon and passed here on the way home. I like how the bathrooms are right as you walk in. I remembered an interesting tidbit about ice cream. Because there a a lot of calories and they turn to heat, winter is the ideal time for it. The lad at the counter gave me a senior discount without me asking. Dandy. Now I know they have them. I absolutely LOVE how Culver's decorates their restaurant for the holidays. It's a fast but fresh food restaurant that has a homey feel and that's what brings me back. Oh and the food too. Some of the best fast food burgers and fries you can get. I also love their fries shrimp baskets which come with too much food but who complains about too much food right! read more

I love Culver's - just not this one. I mean, you actually have to TRY to screw up the automatic frozen custard machine every time I go here. Skip the Eagan location and go to either Apple valley, Bloomington, or Burnsville. read more

Sadly to say, this is the worse Culver's place we have been. We have been in Culver's from Southern Missouri to Norhtern, MN to Central WI. All of them great. Fast food, but great. This one in Eagan, was a complete chaos. Everything was out - of - control. We order the ususal, and onion rings. Those were soked in oil. I took it back to the cashier, and he did not understand, why. He talked to the "manager". He looked at that thing surprised. I told them where was our table. After minutes waiting I went back and asked the "manager" where "is the onion". He looked at me surprised. Finally he brought the soked onion rings again. I was waiting for the delicous custurd. When I loked around I saw 3 or 4 customers complaining. The custard was not as smooth as it should be. This place is hideous. Stay away. It's SUPPOSED to be fast food. I lived in E. Baltimore and had gotten accustomed to slow, but Culvers in Eagan trumps anything I've experienced. When I arrived, unwittingly, I checked my phone and it was 6:06p. I walked in to an almost empty restaurant and there was one family in front of me. The girl took an incredulous amount of time to complete ringing their order and when it was my turn, it digressed. I ordered a double cheeseburger basket, a fish sandwich and two frozen custards. The girl asked me three times if I wanted cheese, twice if it was a basket and after telling her vanilla, I was asked what flavor twice more. Total - $15.39. I noticed she only rang up one custard guy and there was no way I was going to revisit her again. It gets better. The time I got my receipt? 6:13. It gets even better. I watched quite a large amount of workers either standing around or moving slower than my 85 year old mother - and the place was still slow. I waited. I waited. I finally got my food. I went to pick it up and noticed no soda and inquired. The young man said, "you didn't get a soda?" I left, got in my car and it was....ta dah...6:31....25 minutes from start to finish. Alls I can say is I'm sooooooooo happy this place is under new management!!!! The service is so much quicker. My order was made correctly. I was asked if everything was good after I started eating my food. The music was delightful to listen to. And best of all, the managers/owners weren't yelling at everyone. The atmosphere was just so relaxing. I'm thrilled Culver's finally realized the previous owners were NOT a positive addition to this company and canned them! I went to culvers for a snack and a shake. I was told to pull forward after I paid. I received my pretzel bites in 3 minutes, and the shake never came. After waiting for 22 minutes I parked and went in to the restraunt and told them I wanted a refund. I was given the refund on the shake only. This is terrible service and they don't care. read more

I liked how they were frugal with their mayo on the burgers. The "custard" wasn't really custard to me. I'd had rather have gone to Dairy Queen and gotten a Blizzard; same stuff, basically. It is what it is. Fast food; that you wouldn't want to eat on a normal basis..but I guess it's more up-scale than McDonalds or BK or those sort of things. Nothing will beat In-N-Out or Tommy's. This place really screwed up my dine in order today. The people with me and people behind me got their food but I did not. I am a diabetic and when I had not received my food after a half hour I went to check on it. I need to eat on a set schedule. It turned out the cashier had not placed the order. Not impressed at all. "Under New Management" should mean something good, right? Not in this case. Went there and ordered a burger combo and a pop. The burger had half a shaker of salt poured on it... Actually had to force it down due to time restraints... BUT... I looked down at my drink and it had fruit flies in it. I mentioned this added protein to my drink to the Manager and he said "that's not possible". Like I carry around a pocket full of critters and add them to my soft drinks? He brought me a new drink, but that was completely unacceptable. He half heartedly apologized and that was the end of that. No... I won't be going back there. Word to the wise... DON'T... Me and my friends arrive, order our food, and sit down. 10 minutes later we get our food but it isn't what we ordered. We bring the food back, and order again. And the cashier tried to make us pay again, even though it was THEIR fault our order was wrong. After a short conversation, we place our order, didn't pay extra, and sat back down to wait. ... 40 minutes later I go to check on our food and the cashier tells me that they FORGOT TO PLACE OUR ORDER. We had been there for over an hour by now and still haden't eaten. (It's fast food people come on) Another 10-15 minutes and we FINALLY got our food. It tasted okay, but not good enough for an hour and a half of waiting. Not going there again. Ever. read more

I'm in the drive through right now, and I've been waiting over 25 minutes. The car ahead of me pulled out and threw the plastic number on the ground as she burned out in her mini-van. This gank-fest needs to end soon. Something similar happened at this same location last week - but not quite as long. There's still two cars ahead of me. I have nothing to do except write critical reviews of this place on Yelp. I mean, if they were short-staffed, they should have said something when I ordered - 30 minutes ago. Crazy expensive for a fast food joint! A burger combo and additional malt and my bill is over $13! Flavor is just marginal. This location wasn't good. Normally I'm a Culver's fan. They have two of the booths in the dining room permanently stacked with papers and old receipts, like an office slash filing cabinet. It took longer than usual to get our food and when we did, my cheese curds were not fresh, and the fries were almost cold. Dined in to the blaring volume of guests ordering from the drive-up. Asked to talk to the manager, a young person racing around with clearly inadequate training.
