We had a good lunch here. An older gentleman was working the register when we ordered and asked all the right questions for our order. Don't forget to request your senior discount if you're of that age. After paying, we got our drinks and found a table. Our food came pretty quick, We'd originally been heading to a nearby Thai/sushi restaurant when we passed the Culver's. Saw the sign and said to my husband that I could get a cod sandwich there (I'd been craving fish knowing I was in for a weekend of burgers, pizza, and tacos with the grands). And that's what I ordered. The fish sandwich -- I leave off the cheese -- and get the tartar on the side was very good. Lightly battered cod with shredded lettuce on an oblong bun. My husband's got his butter burger combo with fries and a drink. I usually steal a few fries. Good to know this Culver's is here -- and just as good as our local one. read more

I take off some some stars because waiting in the drive through after you've ordered your food literally takes forever- well, 15 minutes minimum. I ordered at the table and got the fried fish, fried onion rings, and fried cheese curds with an orange float. Food was delivered to table. I soon noticed that no napkins were provided. The fish was nicely prepared and the onion rings were tasty. The cheese curd were horrible-dried out probably sitting out to long or microwaved? The orange float was tasty but expensive. Actually the whole meal was expensive for what I got. Over 20 dollars. The table I wanted to sit at had not been wiped down. I found another seat. Ambiance is fine. Every year I look forward to the walleye dinner. However I just had it tonight and it was dreadful. The fish is likely not sourced as before as the fillet shapes were odd, the breading had NO flavor and the whole thing was oily/greasy. The restaurant was well lit and we were welcomed in. It was later evening (8ish) and not busy. Many tables needed wipe down. We found a clean one. There were four of us. Half the orders were correct. One person had a burger, fries and drink. That was correct. One had a crispy chicken sandwich, no lettuce or tomato with fries and a drink. That was correct. I had a 2-piece tender with boom boom sauce as a meal with a side of pickles. We were charged for the pickles but they weren't there. Husband got crispy chicken sandwich. Was asked if he wanted the lettuce, tomato, pickle. He said yes and added extra pickle. His sandwich came with one pickle nothing else. We did go up with a receipt and they did correct the errors. I simply ordered a Kids Butter Burger Meal, asking fir everything in the burger EXCEPT for Mustard. Now, although they did ensure that my sandwich was without mustard, they failed to give me everything else. My burger was lacking life as it came without lettuce,mayo, and tomato leaving it dry and unappetizing. Of course, when I realized this, I asked for them to remake my burger. After the burger was remade, it still did NOT match the simple order I asked for. The service was fast but that detail does not make up for an incorrect order. Id rather wait a bit longer if it meant that i would get the burger I actually wanted. I know it is cheesy but I feel grate! Culver's franchises have been popping up all over around this area. It has been my fast food of choice, in particular in this location at Corkscrew Road in Estero, Florida near a Public Library. Love the double cheese butter burgers. Maybe it is the seasoning or their patty, they have so much flavor without adding anything. The crinkle fries just taste better at Culver's. Somehow, it reminds me the Atlantic City Boardwalk fries every time I bite on one! The cheese curds are great. Cod filet and Pot Roast load are excellent. You must put on hold counting calorie if you go to Culver's. Some time, we wrapped it up with a sundae or a frozen custard or a concrete mixer! At this location, they have a number of outside tables along the main entrance while the other side of the building is used for drive thru. On a good day, you can enjoy a little breeze and sunshine in the patio while chowing down your burgers. Of course, you can seat inside with comfortable tables and booths. Not all Culver's are created equal! What distinguish this location from the other locations is the service. The staff are friendly and have a positive altitude. To recognize this positive trend, Culver's awarded a National Silver Finalist in 2019! Needless to say, it is well managed here! Even their national website has upgraded! One employee can easily ruin a review, as this should be much higher and have more praise for the one employee who did great bringing the Mixer to my daughter. Today is May 4, 2024 and it was about 6:45pm when I faced Ms. Winsome at the register. Typically, all the Culvers employees here are polite and helpful, but not her, despite a simple order for my 9-year old daughter. I initially had trouble finding the Mixer in the menu as I couldn't remember the name. Being no help at all, Ms. Winsome simply stared at me and tried to give me an unrelated item. She had such a look of disgust that I thought I was doing something completely wrong. I felt embarrassed and upset all at once, and she simply maintained a cold demeanor. After she entered the wrong item twice, she couldn't seem to understand the difference between small and medium. We finally got the order right, a small vanilla Mixer with hot fudge and M&Ms. I decided to skip my own order of ice cream to get away from this display of hostility. As I finished paying I asked Ms. Winsome if she was new here, hoping that was the reason for her behavior. Nope, she sure didn't answer that question either. I told her she was extremely rude and needed to fix her attitude. She then told me that I need to fix my attitude. Thanks Ms. Winsome, for setting the perfect example of an untrained employee and entitled, disgusting, non-contributing member of society. Husband just returned home with our food. He's usually gone a long time waiting for the food from Culvers but this time he came back quickly. Out burgers were cold as if they had sat there much of the evening. The bread is hard as a rock and can't be chewed. The fries are burnt and caked in salt. I hate Culver's, I've been eat culver's, since I was in the in the womb and I'm 38! I always order the same thing it's not a complicated order. but recently at the university location in Florida the quality of the lemonade has gone down tremendously. it's gone from this delicious amazing lemonade to this watery, sour disgusting drink. What happened Culvers? I demand you to fix this horrible lemonade I don't like any other sodas, and since the change in beverage products, the fruit punch is also nasty. if you're not fix this, I will be contacting high authorities. This was one of the worst ice cream experiences I've ever had. We ordered 4 cones from the drive-thru, and mine was so melted by the time it was handed to me that the ENTIRE cone was coated with ice cream. They had covered it up with 3 napkins, and as I'm trying to eat the melting top, all the drips under the napkin dripped onto my legs and the car seat. The flavor of the day was chocolate Oreo volcano, which just means chocolate with a tiny drizzle of chocolate syrup, and a few mini mnms. A far cry from the description of chunks of Oreo, chocolate syrup swirl, chocolate chunks and mnms. The whole thing was falling apart, such a mess, and the ice cream itself was average. My ice cream had ice chips (freezer burn?) galore inside - but the others (including one other person who got the same exact flavor) didn't have freezer burn. So what gives? I'm confused and disappointed. If you really need ice cream and this is the only place open, go with a dish instead of a cone, at the very least. read more
