Idk how you can say you don't like Culvers. Double butter burger is as good as it gets for fast food. Culvers cheese curds are unmatched and crinkle fries are good as well. Culver's is an all time favorite, and it was a pleasant surprise to set foot at this Culver's in Golden Valley, my first visit today. I was surprised at how really busy place place is...the drive-through had cars wrapped around and the parking lot was packed! Well, it's so easy to see why...once you set foot in the establishment one is blown away at how wonderful the service is from the order counter to the service to your table....and the food is.... FANTASTIC! I got the Chicken Cashew Salad: which has grilled chicken breast, roasted cashews, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese on a bed of mixed greens with plenty of ranch dressing so delicious! I love that they have unsweetened ice tea at the soda fountain too. I couldn't finish the meal..so I decided to take home, and the girl at the register not only offered me a lid and a bag...but extra ranch dressing. What's not to love? I come from LA and I've received fresher food from a jack in the box in Compton than most Culver's in Minnesota . I witnessed a manager taking a custard out of the trash and giving it to a customer she was upset with in the drive thru. I reported this to the head manager and he and the owner apparently didn't care enough to do anything about this disgusting behavior (according to employees who work there). If you look back at previous complaints at this restaurant, you can see a theme regarding an angry, unprofessional person and I believe it is the same person who I witnessed feeding a customer food from the trash. If this Culvers wants to protect and encourage this type of behavior from their managers, that's on them. But I find it absolutely reprehensible that they would tolerate feeding a customer food from the trash. This claim could easily be proven by viewing the camera footage, but they choose to protect this employee instead of the public. Shameful. I will not be back to this Culvers. read more

This place was absolutely nuts at 6pm on a Saturday. The drive thru wrapped twice around the parking lot. Seems like they have a mobile order option so I'd recommend that if you come around that time. Food is always good and hot and service is also as quick as it can be since they make things to order. They have a plethora of flavors, toppings etc. and the kids meal includes a frozen custard. Amazing! Service: 5/5 Kind people, went above and beyond while rounding throughout the dining area asking if everything was okay and bussing our tables. Customer service from the checkout counter is horrible. The waitress rolled her eyes at me and made weird sounds at me when putting order. I don't know what was her problem, thought I was misunderstanding her so I didn't say anything, but later I even heard she yelled at the old lady who apparently couldn't hear very well. Also, I waited a few seconds for the cup but she didn't give it to me, so I thought the cup would come with my food and walked away. Then she "caught"' me and yelled "next time wait for your cup!". ??? You're the one who took the next customer and didn't say a thing when I was waiting. The old lady she yelled at is black, I'm Asian, so I think this white waitress is either racist or just dumb. I normally don't write bad reviews but they're really over the line this time. Well, stopped there for lunch with a friend and tried the Mushroom & Swiss burger...again hoping it would be better than my last order back in 2022. It was not :( Same old problems with two flattened burgers, very greasy, the bun was flat and not really the healthiest bread stuff, the cheese was overly melted and greasy, mushroom looked dark and old, very salty. Great service. Little too nice for my taste but I appreciate all the take out and pick up options. Not sure why so many negative reviews for this location. Team members worked effectively together to get my food out in just a few minutes and brought it directly to me instead of calling out my number. They offered a drink carrier since I had custard and a drink. Wasn't needed but appreciated. Joshua working at the front was very easy to talk to and clear with helping me get the correct order placed. Also complimented my nails which people don't normally do. Culver's is better then any other fast food because Culver's butter burgers taste like real food it's just over all amazing. This exact Culver's always says "Welcome To Culver's" When you walk in. Their pretzel bites are a MUST have, they are so delicious I get them every single time I go. But service wise, service is fast but if you have a bigger family (4+) it might take a little longer but usually me and my dad go so it's about a 5 minute wait maybe longer if their busy. My wife and I are glad we can return to indoor dining at our favorite Culvers in Golden Valley. Our go to menu item is the two piece Norwegian cod dinner. Honestly, the quality of their cod is superior to most any other place where we've eaten fish. It's very fresh, never fishy tasting, flaky white and delicious. If you're bothered by the batter it's fried in, just peel it away and consume the fish without the golden coating that so many of us love. Great tarter sauce, too. It was overall an all around 3/5. Food: The onion rings were the best thing I had. The fries were a little over fried and they could be a little less thick. The double bacon burger had plenty of grease, but what it had in grease it lacked in taste. Most of the taste came from the cheese which was the best part of the burger. This burger would benefit from some more seasoning and a significantly better bun. I will say that they do get extra good marks for cooking everything fresh. Shake: This was a delight and better than any of the foot I had. I wish I could have a Culver's shake everyday. Price: This is a little on the high side compared to similar places, but I think the prices are fair when factored in that the food is cooked fresh. I'm so impressed with how this Culver's is handling COVID-19. Governor closed all restaurant dining rooms so restaurants could only do Drive-thru, take-out or delivery. Culver's does a very robust drive-thru during normal times but it got even busier. They adjusted well to the increase in business and Covid concerns- masks and gloves for workers, order #s given on single use Post-it notes (another awesome MN product), altered their parking lot to make delivery to your car more efficient. They still make your order fresh so it's hot and made to your liking. They've done a great job in moving cars through the line and getting orders out quickly all with a smile. Bravo!! I visit this Culvers 2-3x per week every week. I get the kids meal burger with everything on it, chocolate milk, and the custard if the day. By keeping the Frostie Tokens I am essentially getting 10% off (although I may trade in my tokens for a toy one of these times.) Because of my introversion I have only used the drive through, but every time the experience has been great. Truly a first class experience when it comes to human interaction. I may start only going 1-2 times per week, but that would be because my good friend has started calling me "butter burger," and the decrease would not be a reflection of their product or service. read more

Rude staff all around. The women who took my order rushed me through it and was rude. I had ordered a chocolate Oreo concrete mixer. When they came with my food and the mixer, it was a regular vanilla Oreo mixer. Mistakes happen, I told the lady who brought the food I had ordered a chocolate one. She looks at the receipt and says, "it says Oreo mixer". Okay.. but I ordered a chocolate Oreo mixer. It may have been rung up as a regular but that's not what I ordered. She didn't want to help me or exchange it so I just took the one she gave me. This place is too expensive for me to not get what I ordered. If she'd just offered to bring me the right one it would have been no big deal but she wasn't even trying to be helpful.
