I went to this Potbelly one time and I only get the BLTA. It's the only thing I like there. I ordered my food and then wasn't told till after the sandwich was made that they didn't have avocado. I am also allergic to tomatoes so I ate a bread lettuce and bacon sandwich. If I was told before they had made it I would have just left and gotten food from somewhere else. I went on the weekend with a child and I was told this is no longer in effec, even though it's still on the menu. This restaurant is darn near a self-serve style place like so many have become. Call me old fashioned but I don't mind paying a tip for a wait person to explain to me how the ordering process works. While I'm figuring out what to do I see that not only do I have to choose 2 sizes of breads but 3 kinds of bread. The terms for bread are not big or small but "regular" and "skinny" which is a misnomer because it's not skinny it's just shorter. If the regular size which is really the large size was called "foot long" that is already used by Sub Sandwiches and then those are not actually a real 12 inches. So you order by name but then you have a choice of those items before it goes through the giant melting machine. After that you still have more choices of ingredients or as they are called, toppings. Now I'm OK with having choices but also if a menu item is designed to taste good with a certain number of items I am willing to accept the judgment of the chef. Of course, if I don't want hot peppers I can ask to have them removed or I can do it myself. Bottom line is that I ordered a Veggie Melt on regular size flat bread with all 3 cheeses and all the vegetable toppings except hot peppers and the whole thing tasted pretty darn good. So I did not really choose anything but I burned up a few billion brain cells trying to figure out the so called "system". Maybe I just don't get out that much. Next time I would rather go to a sit down and get waited on but I was sent here by my family members to pick up an order because they couldn't figure out how to order online in order to get a free sandwich offer but the order was completely prepared wrong because of the confusion of what and how to do things but that's a whole different story which involves lack of communication by everyone concerned etc, etc. read more

This location has some great workers and not sub par workers. The sandwich shop is right off highway 7 in a strip mall and does some great hot sandwiches and salads! They also offer shakes, malts, smoothies, soups and huge pickles! Today we had two great workers! Right when we walked in we were greeted, we order super fast and the guy making our sandwiches made sure we picked our bread, and cheese! We also ordered two oreo shakes which he immediately asked another worker to start. He got our toppings and actually put a good amount of food in them. The guy who made our shakes used a large amount of oreos which we loved, and actually filled them to the top of the cup!! When we paid I had a perk for a free cookie but cops told figure out the barcode. We told him it was fine as we come here a lot and can use it next time, but he gave us the cookie free anyway!! If every time we came here it was these two gentleman I would probably give this place a 5 as we really love their sandwiches, shakes and cookies. However, last time we came in we had very bad (i'm talking a 1 maybe 2 star) service. The girl who made our sandwiches didn't greet us, made us feel like an inconvenience, put ham on one side of my sandwich and turkey on the other even though I said I wanted ham and turkey on the whole thing. The guy who did the toppings was okay, though no smile or talking to us which was a little awkward. The shakes we got were supposed to be chocolate and oreo, but. it's tasted like vanilla and were 3/4 full.. It was a bad experience and we debated driving an extra 8 minutes to a different one today but I am glad we didn't!! I would just say it really depends on who is working for a good or bad experience, which I know is like anywhere. Today specifically we had great service and I hope next time we go it's the same two guys.. but since it is so individual basis I will give this place 4 stars. We will return but if it's the workers we've had trouble with we won't be ordering anything. read more

GOOD RESOLUTION TO ORDER PROBLEM I placed an order for delivery. When it did not arrive on time I called the location to find out why. Apparently there was a problem and the order was either not placed or not received by DoorDash. The person I spoke to was very apologetic and arranged to have the order delivered by someone from the store. It was delivered promptly along with a coupon for a free entree item on my next order. I was very pleased with how the problem was resolved and will order from this location again in the future. The sandwich was delicious and the chili was excellent read more

This Potbelly is in an easy to reach location off of Highway 7 and 101. It is in a big parking that shares with other locations and a cub foods. I have been to this location about a couple times and have received great to terrible service. It really depends on who is behind the counter when you get there. The food is always good for me land my wife, since we do enjoy Potbelly, but how the quality is changes from time to time. The first time we were there we had terrible service. There was a young girl behind the counter when we walked in and she didn't say hello or anything. We told her what we wanted and she went and made them quickly and not nicely. Once they were through the oven she seemed annoyed that we wanted toppings and just dropped them on top and tossed our sandwiches on the counter haphazardly. Then she made our shakes really fast but they were only 3/4s full. I would've given that experience a 1. Tonight we had a great experience. Both people behind the counter were friendly, talkative, and helpful. I would've given tonight's experience a 4. Overall if you like Potbelly's food or are in the area to try it out, this is a good spot to go. The restaurant is nice, clean, and has plenty of places to sit. Experiences can change and that all depends on who is working at the time. We will be going back to this location again. read more

We often crave Potbelly, and this one has hit the spot TWICE in the last month. Although one time we took it to go, and the oil from my wreck with the works dropped onto my shorts and car seat. Both are stained to this day. I don't think I'll blame that on potbelly though. But seriously a wreck and an Oreo chocolate shake is so fire. The Zappa bbq chips were stale today, which was the first time I've experienced that. Plenty of parking. read more

Ordered 2 regular sandwiches and 2 cookies on-line at 5:27, which were supposed to be ready at 5:42. The Potbelly app said they were no longer "in progress" at 5:40. However, Sandwiches were not ready until 6:01. This restaurant was staffed with 3 employees on a "buy one get one free" day. This was Ridiculous. We ordered 2 cookies but received none. Also, one of the sandwiches was missing the cheese that was ordered. Unfortunately, these mistakes were not discovered until we were at home which is 15 minutes away from this Potbelly restaurant. This is not the first issue we have had with this Potbelly location in the last few months. read more

Ok for fast food. Tuna salad with cheese was was pretty good. Also the ham and cheese was not bad. They will give you extra add-ons like pickles, peppers, etc. at no charge. We tried the Mac and cheese side which was really salty. Probably because of the bacon. Would not recommend you get this as a small cup was $2.30. Service was friendly and helpful. Not a bad option in this area for a quick lunch. read more

A week ago Monday so 10 days ago I placed an order for 2 subs as I have been doing for a long time. This time I ordered over 90 minutes in advance cause I was busy at work. When I arrived they told me my order had failed even though I showed them my confirmation email and that my debit card had been charged. After 15 minutes talking to mgmt they told me they could make my order if I paid again which I declined. Then I logged into my potbelly account which stated the order was cancelled which I did not do I would have to be a total idiot to cancel an order then drive to pick it up. Well I used a free entree perk for one of the subs which I have yet to have back in my account. So enjoy my $8.29 and my 930 points I'm done! The food has always been great, however I sent an email to corporate 9 days ago and have yet to hear a pin drop. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 12 years and restaurants live and die by consistancy and customer service. Well taking my free entree when the website cancelled my order 90 minutes after I placed and paid for it is a hilarious joke. I had a long day at work and didn't want to cook, well I did anyway not by choice thanks to potbelly! Funny thing is I used to spend $70 a week at this location and apparently they don't care. I'm a single man with no kids so that's roughly 10 bucks a day on avg for 1 person. Idk what's up figure it out or lose more customers I love the food however after this experience I will eat and spend money elsewhere. Obviously they don't read the emails to customer service and that's too bad. Apparently customers don't matter to the high ups. The staff was always nice and I tip well everytime. Well all I wanted was to order pay for and receive my food as I always do and have the mistake reconciled which hasn't happened and now I don't care anymore so that's that and it's just to bad "perks week" was cool until they stole my points and didn't respond to my complaint. I loved the convenience of ordering and just walking in in and grabbing my order of the rack, but now that I know my order can just fail or get cancelled my points lost and it took over 48 hours to get my money back I won't be ordering to check my email on the way there to see if the system chose to cancel it for no reason. I feel bad for the staff minus the unhelpful mgmt. This place has lost my business over wasting a half hour of my time and a free sub mgmt trying to charge me twice and no follow up after they cancelled my order while I was on the way to pick it up. read more

I want to start off by saying that the food was very delicious. However, one of the workers was extremely rude and condescending. I was extremely excited to try PotBelly as I haven't been before and was having a great day at the mall beforehand. I didn't really know how Potbelly worked since I hadn't been there before but the man who you first interact with was extremely condescending and not helping me out despite it being my first time. My family that I was with also agreed that he was rude. I understand that they were busy and it's hard working in fast food, however I worked in fast food for quite a while and it's not hard to at least be nice to customers, especially when the customers aren't being rude to you in the first place. It really just ruined the rest of my day and my family and I described the experience as "a nightmare". I really wish I could return to this location because the food was great and the rest of the employees were nice, but this one employee really soured the experience. read more

Great sandwich shop with good food, clean restaurant, and friendly service. Sandwiches here are always solid. My typical go to is the turkey sandwich on wheat. Nice and toasted exterior with soft interior bread. Turkey Club and roast beef are really good, too. They have a pastrami sandwich right now that is excellent. First time I had it was the recommended way; white bread with Swiss cheese, deli mustard, and pickles. Soooo good. I tried it again with lettuce, tomato, and onions. Although still tasty, no need to mess with a good thing. The soups are a nice addition on a cold day. The last time we went in they had live music; just a guy playing guitar. Guy working was a jerk. First tried to call in an order. Keep hanging up on us. Then placed the order online. We're regulars that won't ever be back. Placed a $100+ order. Arrived about 10 minutes before online pickup time. Not overt busy (nobody in line). Told employee I was here and politely explained I knew he probably wasn't ready for me.
